We had the most amazing time. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Chara at the reception/office made us feel so special and always had the best tips for beaches and other things to do. She really took time for us, connected with our son and made him fell so welcome. Nina, who brought us our breakfast every morning also had the most positive energy you can think of. I read about her in other reviews before we went and when we met her I fully understood what people meant :) The staff throughout the resort really knows how to make guest feel welcome and are so helpful whenever you need something. We had a villa with heated pool and the place was just so beautiful, clean and really well taken care of. We cant wait to plan out next summer vacation at Villa D'Oro.

The view from all the rooms (villas) is marvelous! The breakfast is amazing! The menu is not big, but if you want to have lunch or dinner, you will be able to experience good food. The architecture and the atmosphere of the place are very beautiful. It gives a feeling of tranquility. The stuff is careful and extremely friendly. Hara made us feel special. Thank you Hara!

The sound insulation of the walls is not very good, so we were able to hear our neighbors. That might be a problem, only if you want to go to bed early.

Plenty of choice and very tasty breakfast, delivered early every single morning , were able to make a few changes when needed

The villa is a distance away from the airport, this means expensive transfers if you are going to use taxi. If driving then its ok, being on the villa was heavenly the beach was practically ours - weather was amazing and staff super friendly

100% I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a 5* experience. Me and my wife booked for our anniversary along with our newly married couple and we had the best experience in a lovely super clean Villa with the best service. The breakfast was huge and super diverse with all kinds of pastries and eggs. They have organized on request a surprise for my wife bouquet of roses and chocolate cake with a bottle of Moet Champagne 🍾 The view of the beach and the lovely veranda was super relaxing with amazing weighers who were serving anything on request. As I said this is the best place to stay in Greece 🇬🇷

This is the perfect holiday apartment, absolutely splendid facilities and so comfortable, also great lighting. Amazing breakfasts courtesy of the ever smiling Nina. Everything is 10/10. I wish everywhere had such high standards in a place where we can be very independent travellers.

5*. Highly recommended. The best place we have ever stayed on holiday. Fabulous location with lovely view of the sea. Villa was very clean and spacious with lovely furnishings. The lovely clean pool has plenty of comfortable beds/seats with sun shades and on many occasions we had the pool to ourselves. Small beach with beds/sun shades a very short walk away. Christina and her staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. They all obviously take huge pride in delivering a top class service. Plentiful breakfast delivered to the villa each morning. Quality food is also available to order in the evening which is also delivered to the room. Food portions are huge and more than good value for money. Car recommended as little near by to walk to. Would definitely go back for another holiday.

Nothing. It was perfect!

In this wonderful place you can spend a perfect vacation, with relaxation, peace, all the comfort you need and excellent services. You can enjoy panoramic views of the sea and Mount Athos, with amazing sunrises that you can admire from your bedroom or from your own terrace and from anywhere in the resort. The breakfast served by the adorable Nina will put you in a good mood, and the delicious dinner ordered from the restaurant, served on your own terrace, will make the evening pleasant. Thanks to the owners for creating this magical place and for the discreet and helpful way in which they are present with the guests to make their vacation great. A little advice for tourists: if you have a car, take short trips in the area, in the south or west of the peninsula to discover other treasures.

I liked everything

We just loved everything! Our appartement was very stylish and modern, large and spotless clean. Kitchen was well equipped, but you can also order something from the bar. It was really luxuryous to have a private pool (some are heated, definately worth it in octobre) and the view is absolutely outstanding. Each appartement has seaview and from some places you can see athos mountain at the horizon. What a beautiful scenery! The surrounding is absolutely quiet and beautiful, you reach a small and clean beach in 1min walking distance and larger beaches 10min by car. Owners and staff are nice and very helpful, if you have questions or problems just ask them, they will find a solution. Breakfast was also a great experience, it is delivered to your room and you can choose between many options of greek specialitys, bread, eggs, yoghurt, fresh fruit, juices, cakes and much more and it was plenty and fresh. You need a car to get around, but we loved being "away from everything" and enjoyed the beautiful nature and quietness.

Although we arrived quite late in the day to check in, we were warmly welcome, shown to our room and brought a welcome drink to wind down from the drive and kick start the holiday mood. Spacious room / apartment with large balcony with beautiful view on the sea and Mount Athos in the distance. A copious and delicious breakfast was included and served every morning. A short stroll would take us down to the pebble beach with clear waters where the Hotel offers some shaded beds. The little beach taverna further up the beach offers delicious simple local dishes and bbq seafood and kebabs whilst to the other side of the beach the beach club offers fancier lunch/dinner/drinks options at a decent cost, although several times we just drove to the main supermarket up the hill, got a few items and prepared our own simple dinners in the kitchen of the apartment to enjoy on the terrace / balcony with our friends. The staff was always super friendly and accommodating of our requests. It's a pretty quiet part of the peninsula so not a lot of activities although we found a few hikes, sailed for a day and otherwise just relaxed by the pool or the beach.

The fold out chair as an extra bed for children was too uncomfortable for a big teenage boy - might be OK for a small child.

Great facilities and perfect service! The view from the villas is just amazing! The rooms are spacious, luxurious and really clean! The garden and pool were maintained in excellent condition. This is one of the best spots to have a great summer vacation!
