Spotlessly clean, spacious apartment. Nice little kitchen area, dining table & xtra bed. Large bedroom, very comfy beds, dresser & hairdryer & plenty of wardrobe space with hangers. Powerful shower, well lit bathroom. Balcony with table & chairs looking out on a beautiful sea view. The pool is something else 😍. Plenty of sunbeds & never crowded. No loud music, no inflatables - perfection. Staff wonderful & friendly. 2 mins walk to seafront, in a great position 1 street back. Plenty of choice of restaurants & bars, but not rowdy - Kefalos is a really lovely resort. 3 or 4 supermarkets & late opening hours. We had a perfect stay at Kontessa & have already booked to return next year.

Nothing - it was all perfect

The location of the Kontessa Apartments really can't be beat. The most amazing views (especially of the beautiful sunrise) and Just a minute walk from the sea, bars, restaurants, beaches etc. The apartments are bright, clean, have really comfortable beds/pillows and good sized private balconies/terraces. Bed linen and towels are good quality, air con, safe, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board are also included.  The kitchenette is the usual simple style, kettle toaster etc and enough to prepare drinks and snacks. We always had lots of hot water in the shower (it can flood a little but if you keep the curtain in the right place it's fine), there's loads of storage space for your clothes etc. The pool is a really good size and always quiet, it looks lovely all lit up at night. The snack bar wasn't open so we didn't see any staff during our stay but that suited us as we like peace and quiet (check in is via a note on the gate - super easy). There is  a cat feeding area behind the gate at the steps so please do feed them, some are just kittens! Cleaning was nearly every day, we had three lots of clean towels in 8 days and bed linen was changed halfway through the week. There is free wifi which did drop a few times but most of the time was good quality and speed. There is plenty of parking. All in all we were really very happy with our choice of accommodations and will definitely return.

The only negatives I can say is the grates around the pool edge need to be cleaned and the freezer part of the fridge didn't actually freeze anything. The cost of the transfer offered by the owner was a little high so we booked with another company. A floor brush in the rooms would be a good idea.

Fabulous week at kontessa and very relaxing around the pool by day and so quiet at night ... location is perfect for exploring in all directions with a supermarket 5 mins walk away and only about 10 minutes walk to either the beach, or the small fishing port and the old town in the hills only 30 mins walk ... this end of kefalos called " kamari " is just so chilled out but with a good choice of restaurants and small bars ... pool area is huge with many sunbeds and a lovely view ... the owner and his team were all very nice, the rooms not modern but very nice, spacious and cleaned well everyday , for a sensible price these apartments were a great choice and we will be back next time on Kos

nothing really to moan about

A very quiet location. Great size swimming pool and well maintained area. The accommodation was spacious and clean. An added unexpected bonus of slippers, eye mask, shower soap, and washing up liquid with tea towel were in the room too. Rooms were cleaned daily (except for Sunday) Plenty of wardrobe space and drawers Only downside was the bar /kitchen area by the pool was closed. Not a huge problem though as supermarket and tavernas were within a 2 minute walk. We would definitely stay there again

Lovely sea and pool view with a very special Tree in between. The pool was larger than it looked from the balkony. The beach and restaurants were very close. The blue of the water was stunning. Host replied alsways very helpful and fast. Always solved my questions.

The neighbors dog on the street barked a little too agressive. But also here we got help :) The pillows are simply too thick to sleep on. There were two each, so it would have been great to have two different ones. Guess they meant it too good ;)

Room was a really good size. Views from the balcony were exceptional. Room and all outside areas kept very clean. Pool was a good size with a separate kids pool and plenty of sun-beds. Air-con done its job, plumbing done its job.

Hard to fault. Rooms maybe a refresh, but they were not bad. There was a snack bar at the pool that was not open. Not really a problem as there is a supermarket 2 minutes away. There was nothing I did not like to be honest.

Lovely apartment, it is split into two rooms which was helpful so our daughter had her own room. Nice pool and balcony with sea view, great location close to the sea and lots of tavernas. The manager Nick was extremely helpful helping with our questions and requests, and sorted out a hire car and airport transfers for us.

All was good! Might be nice to have a TV, but it's not essential, we took a tablet and laptop for watching programs and that worked well for us.

Spacious room. Shower gel, washing up liquid Slippers supplied along with tea & coffee. Great pool and although all rooms were booked there were plenty of sunbeds . It never once felt crowded.

It would have been good to have an umbrella on the patio as we weren't able to sit outside until the sun had moved.

Location was excellent, sea view, quite, clean and staff very approachable, friendly and helpful 😀
