Word of warning to all travellers - when your taxi / transfer pulls up outside ‘Telesilla’ hotel, hearts will probably sink by the side of the road. However, upon entering the hotel reception, your faith will be restored by such wonderful staff, all with a warm and happy welcome, greeting you like long lost friends! Simply the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in! Great facilities, everything so new and so clean and an air of happiness permeating the whole place! The restaurant too, is to die for - sublime, traditional home-cooked food, and Makis, one of the hotel owners, guides you through how the chefs prepare and cook their beautiful meals. Even after a day, Makis, Thomas, George and Thanos always remembered our names & drinks! We will definitely be visiting again. Small is beautiful! Words cannot express our wonderful, happy Corfu experience at this beautiful hotel. We’ll be back!

Very good location. With car you can easily reach all of the island spots. Small but delicious breakfast, helpful staff at the reception. Good value for the money. Also appreciated restaurant for lunch and dinner that was in the hotel next to the pool. Really recommend renting a car, because hotel also has free parking spaces around property.

We had family room and from bathroom and air conditioner was smelling really bad (like cesspit). The mattresses were very hard, the same goes with pillows (also child bed). Our king bed was also very small to the point me and my partner couldn’t turn properly in sleep. Under our balcony was a bar and every night music and people were loud till midnight or 1:00 AM. Pool can get crowded during the day.

Friendly and welcoming staff, family run hotel. Predominantly over 40s clientele but young people seem like it there also. It's a very popular hotel. Clean rooms with working air conditioning. Food was great and fabulous cocktail selection. Our room was refreshed every day of our stay. Nice peaceful pool and outside seating. Loved the roof garden with the extra comfortable loungers. Close to restaurants with Gouvia a mile walk away. There's so much more I can say, it's so lovely. We will definitely again when we can.

The room spec said anything iron is provided in the room but there isn't and the receptionist had to track one down whenever I needed one which was inconvenient. Ofcourse desk staff were very helpful in getting an iron for me. More cereal choices at breakfast would be welcome instead of just muesli - cornflakes, bran flakes etc. Good coffee from the machine but bigger cups would be great! Not much to dislike, it's a wonderful hotel.

The beds were really comfy and always made everyday- new towels every other day which was great and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean - the man who worked the evening on reception was sp helpful and answered any questioned we had about the island- bus stop to Corfu town right outside and the bus was only 15 or so minutes- also has buses to other places like sidari and paleokastritsa, also a supermarket right outside

The only thing I didn’t like was you couldnt eat or drink anything not bought at the hotel restaurant/ bar while sat at the pool - even if you were staying at the hotel

Overall experience was outstanding. The staff were great and treated you as if you'd be going there for years. The owner was very active every evening and could not do enough for you. The breakfast was very good and poolside snack menu was great. People came from other hotels for their evening meals and I did find that there was no need to leave the hotel to eat outside, the one night I did was enough to confirm I didn't need to go anywhere else.

The only slight downside is the room we had, superior without a balcony, is at the front of the building which borders a main road. This does get noisey in the early mornings and I would go for a superior room with balcony next time which looks inward over the pool area which is much quieter. I did suggest to the owner that perhaps earplugs could be provided in the rooms. My wife and I both wear earplugs at night anyway, so it was not a problem.

Stayed here for four nights and I honestly wished I stayed longer. The hotel has all the facilities you would need for a comfortable short stay and the functional air conditioning kept me sane as it was the only way I could sleep at night. The rooms were cleaned daily and staff were ever so attentive and happy to meet your needs. I was a bit concerned about the noise from the road at night but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be especially if your windows are closed. There’s a bus stop five minutes away and the a restaurant attached which serves excellent Greek food. I would definitely consider saying here again if I returned to Corfu.

Our stay was fantastic, but what made it even more of a great memory were the extremely helpful and friendly staff. Thank you for making our holiday so special. Would highly recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again. The room was spotlessly clean, had all the amenities we would expect of a 4 star hotel let alone a 3 star hotel. Breakfast was lovely and had a lovely choice for all tastes, oh and the cocktails at the bar..... well just amazing. N.p. the restaurant at the hotel serve fantastic food and it there is such a lovely atmosphere Thank you to all staff at the Telisilla and we will be seeing you very soon. ❤️

Thanos from the reception was wonderful. Such a nice, professional, friendly, helpful and great person who is always ready to help and give proper advice and suggestion. He deserves mark 10. 😊

Hotel policy about check in at 15h even when the room is ready and cleaned for new guests is really disrespectful, rigid and very stupid. When there are guests who came with some early flight and you let them sit for more than 7 hours at the reception even though the room is ready is more than disrespectful leaving guests with such a sour taste and experience. Policy is ok when there are no rooms but knowing the fact that there is a ready room for guests is stupid and deserves bas mark.

I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. We arrived in the morning, many hours before the standard check-in time. We were able to use the bathroom and relax by the pool until our room was ready (and we could have checked in earlier anyway). The room was spotlessly clean and thoroughly cleaned every day. The hotel's location is very good - close to the marina, beach and bus stop. There are also various good restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals with a great variety of options to choose from. The bartender served very good cocktails. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and plenty of choices to cater to every taste. One of the standout features of this hotel is the exceptional service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great stay. Whether it was providing recommendations for local activities or ensuring our room was always in perfect condition, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident.

The rooms were big and very clean, good airconditioning and nice bathroom. The pillows were very nice and everything needed was in the room. There was a very nice man with a ponytail behind the reception who was always ready to assist and very kind, so our compliments to him. The location was pretty good, but it is still best to get a scooter or car to get around the island. There is a scooter rental behind the hotel and many restaurants near. The staff (one exception) was very kind to us, especially the girls at the bar.

We did not like the way we were “welcomed”, there was a women with curls behind the reception who came over as moody/ annoyed. She was like this during the whole stay. Do not expect to check in early during high season, because even if you come back to the reception at check-in time they will make you wait another 10 minutes. It is not really possible to relax near the pool area from 6pm onwards, they will remove the sunbeds and tell you the pool is closed.
