We were looking for a comfortable accommodation with nice breakfast as a base to visit the island and Mammis beach was the perfect choice for us. Very good quality for money, peaceful and relaxing location just 5 minutes drive from Kardamena city centre. Our room was big and functional and with a really nice sea view which is always a bonus. Breakfast was simple but everything was super fresh and had everything you need. The place is clean and looked after, nice pool area, restaurant and bar open all day. Do not miss the Greek night, lots of fun and great Greek bbq for just 15€ pp! The staff is lovely and always willing to help.

I think the daily cleaning of the room could be improved by also cleaning the floors, we had sand in the room for obvious reasons after a beach day and it was a bit annoying. Water pressure in the shower was an issue nearly every night and the water is slightly salty which doesn’t make you feel you have showered at all!

Except the cost of the room, everything in the hotel was more than ok. We stayed very well here. They serve very good and economic food at lunch and dinner. Consider it also in comparison with restaurants in Kardamena (which were not particularly good, in my opinion). Personnel is lovely :-)

I have seen also in other hotels that it is VERY difficult to find shadowed areas. This can be a problem in this hotel if sun is too strong for you. Of course the pool with umbrellas is a good place.

We loved staying here, I wish we had longer. The Mammis family are the nicest people. Niko and his parents are very helpful and friendly. Would 110% recommend this hotel. The breakfast was lovely, a good variety of food, sausages, bacon eggs, yogurt fruit etc. they also have their own little private beach right outside of the hotel, sunbeds are there too. If I was to travel to Kos again, I would without a doubt stay here! Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Beautiful location. Nice pool. Nice bar area close to the pool which served very nice food and all the usual drinks. Plenty of sunbeds/umbrellas for everyone. Literally a few footsteps from the beach/sea. All the staff were so welcoming/accommodating/friendly/helpful and we couldn't have asked for nicer people.

The water pressure was dictated by a water pump so there were times we needed to stop mid-shower and go to reception to ask for the pump to be switched on.

Friendly staff, from the cleaning lady up to the waiters and the hosts! Amazing food. We had halfboard and were surprised at first that we didn't get any info, what are they preparing for the dinner but we soon got used to it, as the food was simply delicious and we were anxious every evening what we're gonna get tonight. Also because our daughter is suffering from several allergies, they prepared meals for her according to her needs at no extra cost. Small beach full of sea life ideal for snorkelling just across the street.

Rooms could be equipped with a basic set of cutlery if you decide to have a little snack or some fruit - more of a suggestion than a critique really.

Great atmosphere. A very good spot to explore the island. There's always a parking spot available. We chosed the half board option and the dinner was always tasty, changing almost everyday. The staff is really nice and helpful. Good swimming pool, a nice beach just crossing the road with umbrellas.

Usually I dont spend time writing reviews, but this time I really was amazed by the hosts kindness. Even when our cab cancelled last minute our trip back to airport they managed to find a way to get us there (despite the only cab company being busy and not accepting request with less than 2 hours prior). Also because of the late flight they managed to switch our dinner that we missed and were very kind and understanding throughout our stay. I highly recommend the location for being very quiet, a place where you can trully relax, that we will happily return too.

We booked this Hotel originally for its proximity to the Town and Beach, outside of the main resort for peace and quiet yet only 10 mins walk to the Town. It had its own little private Beach. Sunbeds were plentiful both poolside and at the Beach. Meals and Drinks were very reasonably priced and excellent. Breakfast was continental and plentiful with a relaxed policy on times, (you didn't feel rushed if you came along late) and you always had a cheery good Morning from Renata. Meals were cooked by Georgios who would accomodate you with items that did not appear on the menu. The BBQ night was great value for money with plenty of meat being provided to your table. Nico managed the bookings and Hotel and was very accomodating and helpful. Staff were all very pleasant and friendly and created a very enjoyable atmosphere. Nationalities included, Danes,Germans,Italians,Irish and Uk guests,and there was a very friendly atmosphere around the Hotel. I had read some negative reviews but can only say that our experience and that of the people I spoke to at the Hotel had nothing but positive comments to make. We are frequent travellers and normally opt for Fully inclusive. We had one week in Turkey Fully inclusive and then travelled on to this Hotel with the intention of travelling around and eating out at different restaurants we found everything so good at Mammis that we decided to eat here everyday and Night. Renata is a gem! Nothing is too much trouble and she always has a smile and a lovely energy. The family are really friendly and helpful. The place is peaceful and relaxed. The breakfast was a good variety. We were really happy with our stay and how welcome we were made to feel. We took the half board option and the dinners were freshly home-cooked and obviously made with love. We highly recommend.

It is quite a walk into town so I would recommend hiring a bike or electric scooter. However, it is a beautiful walk along a beach road, but in the night can be dark in some patches.

The private beach was just over the road and there was always a choice of sun beds on the beach or by the pool. Rooms were spacious with balcony or terrace. The food was really good - half board was great value. There is no choice of dish but the chef was accommodating towards dietary requirements. The staff were all very helpful and went out of their way for us.

It’s not that easy to get into the main town. There is a regular bus service but not in the afternoon and it can get extremely busy coming back. Otherwise it’s a good 30 min walk.
