Great alcohol selection. Many pools and easy beach access. There are ~8 different restaurants which offer wide variety of dishes. The hotel try to provide the best service the can even during rush hours. The pool and beach area were very clean.

The rooms were outdated and need renovations. The pools were very nice but if you notice the details you can see many broken tiles which needs to be fix. You cannot visit the same restaurant twice in the same week.

Super pools, main restaurant excellent. Lovely big family rooms. We had four nights at this resort & feel very relaxed almost feels like a week.

The themed à la carte restaurants were poor. The bathroom has a curtained bath shower - very dated.

The location was great for us since we looked for a hotel next to the beach and not far from the airport. The food was great and very varied, especially the la carte restaurants. The staff were nice and helping. Rooms are clean

The resort is very big. Our room was very far from the lobby/restaurants and needed to walk a long distance everyday with a baby stroller so it wasn’t very comfortable. I think they beed a baggy or transportation inside the hotel.

Overall a really enjoyable stay. The location - whilst a little isolated - has amazing views and the sunrises are pretty special. The lunch and evening buffets are great and some of the a la carte restaurants (Greek and Asian) are good. I also very much enjoyed the Sushi and Healthy corner (went there pretty much every morning as the breakfast buffet is limited and I struggled to find anything I liked - and I'm not a fussy eater!) We were lucky enough to receive an upgrade on our room, which gave us (family of 3) plenty of space and really made our holiday even more enjoyable. The sports program through the day is great and the instructors are clearly very skilled and highly motivated doing their jobs.

In general the staff are great but we had some issues during our stay with the minority of staff that were not helpful. Our son has a serious allergy and things are not labeled well in the buffet area, so we often had to ask about what was in the dishes. Quite a few staff were very unhelpful, simply saying they didn't know which to me isn't acceptable for a 5 star hotel. Also general maintenance through the hotel is a bit of issue. Poolside, loads of tiles are falling off and the gym is pretty basic.

Food varied and good quality. One complaint on food was the fried eggs were over cooked every morning. Staff mainly attentive and helpful. Hotel had lovely views. Plenty of pools and food and drink facilities. Beach facilities were very good. Some ‘tiredness’ in the room we had but that didn’t impact on us too badly. Overall, a lovely hotel.

Offer poached eggs as an option for breakfast and don’t over cook the fried eggs.

I have just come back from a 7 nights holiday and have been very happy with my stay at the resort. The food was varied and delicious, the private beach was beautiful and clean, the rooms and overall resort were well appointed and the whole place was spotlessly clean. The best part of the stay was the lovely staff - polite, helpful, so very hardworking and a pleasure to interact with. The conceirge was super helpful and helped us plan all our excursions. A special shout out to Alex, thank you! There were plenty of sun loungers both at the beach as well as the pools. There are lots of pools and the resort is very spread out, so we never felt crowded in. The golf buggies were always readily available if we chose not to walk. We really enjoyed the Pan-Asian restaurant and it was a highlight of our stay. The evening entertainement was also very enjoyable and we were spoilt for choice. I would also like to mention that I accidentally misplaced my handbag (containing cash, jewellery and valuables) and the staff found it and returned it back the next day with all the contents intact.

Some suggestions for improvement - 1. The aircon in our room was not very effective during the heatwave and we found it too hot to be in our room during the day. Please review options for more effective cooling. 2. As a vegan, I struggled to figure out which dish was suitable in the main buffet as there was no food label (Ve, V, G/F etc.). Please consider labelling the dishes in the main buffet. 3. We faced some housekeeping issues where toilet rolls, towels and toiletries were not replenished when they ran out. Howver, once we called the reception, they sent them over within 15 minutes.

Many years ago, during the first days in medical school, the professor told the new students in his introductory lecture: "Once in a lifetime, you have to visit Kos, the birthplace of medicine !" This summer, my wife and I finally did it. It was certainly one of the most memorable trips of our lifes and this is due - in addition to visiting the Asklepion where Hippokrates taught and practiced - to this fantastic resort. The Mitsis Blue Domes is located on a nice beach, has about ten or twelve pools as well as private pools with some rooms (we were lucky to have one of these, see pic). The whole resort meets the highest standards, everything is incredibly clean, the choice of restaurants (it's an all-inclusive) is just phenomenal. Most of all, the staff needs to be mentioned; they are efficient, helpful and immensely friendly and warm-hearted (we even shed a few tears when saying goodbye to the nice ladies ad guys in the main restaurant). The same applies to the housekeeping - when we returned from breakfast around 9 a.m., the room was already cleaned, fresh towels were provided etc. The food was fantastic, the drinks great. We ate most of the time in the main restaurant; the "theme restaurants" like Italien, Sushi etc. require advance reservation (which we didn't know - but didn't care; the buffets in the main restaurants left nothing to be desired). The same applies to the location. The airport is about 12 minutes by taxi away, to Kos City it's a 25-minute ride. In the evening, there is always entertainment, life music and/or shows. We loved to sit at the main bar area after sunset, enjoy the drinks and just be happy that we finally made it to Kos - and that we picked this fabulous resort!

There was nothing we didn't like - it is just fantastic there ! Only a word of "cultural" advice for other U.S. or overseas visitors: the majority of guests are Germans and it is definitely in their DNA - I know, I was born there:-) - to "reserve" their pool chairs by putting their towels on them as early in the morning as possible. Therefore, at around 9 a.m. don't be surprised if all pool chairs are "taken" though most are nevertheless empty. It was no problem for us - the are plenty of chairs (with umbrellas) at the beach.

Great service in alla carte restaurants and in main one. I would like to thank Kristos - Manager, Panagiota - Captain, main chef and waiter in Tex Mex, Lola at main restaurant and Klevisa in the bar as well ice cream guy in the beach. Great team that you should be proud of.

Smell in the bathroom

1. much more than we expected and even better than the photos the hotel uploaded 2. very nice and welcoming staff, caring and smiling always , very patient 3. room is very clean, always filling the fridge, even in days we wanted not to be disturbed they leave a bottle of water at the door 4. we took a private pool, its very recommended, very clean and the bar staff comes each hour to check if we need anything from the bar 5. abundance and variety of good food 6.private crystal clean beach 7. daily entertainments, theatre and live music in the bar

the weather was a bit windy but still enjoyed everything in our stay

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a family room with jacuzzi as we were on our honeymoon, which was a lovely surprise.

Problems with the booking system at restaurants near the sea. I tried to book in advance as advised by previous guests but the app wouldn't allow me to do it without a room number as it didn't recognise our reservation number. The result was having very few options in terms of lunch/dinner as the quality isn't very good except in Pita Corner and the Creperie. I wouldn't recommend Healthy Corner at all and the sushi is poor quality. However, the bars and staff are great with good selection of cocktails and lots more. I highly recommend the main buffet restaurant if you want better quality, good selection and without need to reserve a table.
