We stayed at the Angela Hotel for a month from 9th September this year. We wanted an apartment in a hotel with a pool. The Angela was perfect because we had a super large apartment for 2 with sitting room and kitchenette together with dining table for 4. We also had the biggest nicest bathroom and a huge veranda which you could acces from the bedroom and the sitting room. Great for cups of tea in the morning watching the sun rise! The hotel is super clean with the best team of cleaners. We had Anna as our cleaner on our floor who was extra special. The bar staff, especially Stella, were also lovely. Reception were extremely helpful because we needed more with staying such a long time allowing us to look at other rooms, sorting out a tv for us as well information on anything from taxis to when the water may return. Always willing to help. The pool is great and we swam in it most mornings because it is open at 8 am(not many hotels do this). The bar area is full of things to do as well as serving drinks and breakfasts. The location of this lovely hotel is special too because you can walk to the town with dozens of restaurants and bars as well as the harbour with all the boats. You can walk to the ruins that are throughout the town - you turn a corner and someone has a Roman arch in their back garden. There is a castle, an amphitheatre and a well preserved Roman Villa - amazing to survive the numerous earthquakes Kos town is a great place to visit and the Angela Hotel was fabulous for us

Only thing that lightly spoilt our stay was the smoking

5 min walk from the Kos Town center, the hotel is both central and quiet. the pool area was pleasant to hang out. the rooms were very clean, simply decorated and spacious. the bathroom was revovated and spotless clean! the bath towels were snow white and fluffy, i loved them. as we walked in, it was a nice touch to find a bottle of wine and some fruit. i was in love with the big balcony. the staff was kind and helpful.

i only wish the rooms had a "do not disturb" sign. housekeeping personnel is very hard working, they are insistent on cleaning every day and early in the morning. since i like to wake up late, it was a bit of a nuisance to convince the nice ladies to visit the room later.

I am a professional traveller, which means I am basically past the huge grin from my host or the lovely friendliness in the air. I am more interested in the practicality of things. For example, every hotel I book has a fridge but not all fridges are the same. Some barely work, some are too small, too old or too used up and some excel. This hotel excels in almost everything. I especially liked the location. Its close to the centre but not too close. At the same time, provisions are close and so is good life. The room was large, spotless, and everything worked as it was supposed to. And all this for a very reasonable price. I have enjoyed my stay very much.

The kitchenette could be further equipped, like for instance a ball for a salad (I ate it inside a pan) or a strainer for pasta. Also, the coffee cups are a little old fashioned. Everybody uses mugs nowadays (the needs for coffee volume have increased)

Very close to the port, wonderful staff, clean rooms, nice view, nice pool, excellent value for the money.

No breakfast options, but you are close to many restaurants in the port. VERY IMPORTANT! Shower floor was tilted so that the whole bathroom gets flooded when you take a shower (construction issue), but the big problem is that the floor gets slippery when wet - be very careful. You should install an antislip mat, at least in the shower - cheap and effective.

Pool is lovely. Bar staff are amazing, very friendly! Room was very big (2 bedrooms, 2 balconies). Kitchen is well equipped (no main oven, just a small electric stove but great for us) Room was cleaned + beds made every day! Location is perfect, 5 min walk to Kos town, Dolphin 🐬 Square. Great value, Would definately stay here again!

TV should have been in main bedroom. Not really fuctional where it is in dining/living room very high up on the wall. Balcony Street view wasn't great. Need spare pillows in room. Larger cups + drinking glasses would be helpful. They are very small

Excellent location, staff and housekeeping very good. The pool is very quiet and nice for relaxing. Great value. We stayed in a family room, No 406 sun rises and sets on the balcony. Local restaurants are all within walking distance. The Broadway is very nice. Old town 10 mins walk. The port same. All in all, it was an enjoyable place to stay.

Nothing really, you get what you pay for.

All the staff are very kind and helpful. When i've complained about the room, they tried to serve me another room, Although Hotel was full... I told them there are stains on the towels, they immediately changed... I ask for car rental, they arranged me. Hotel location is good, you can easily walk most of the popular restaurants in 10 or 15 minutes. Also Ferry is 10 minutes walk away.

The Hotel was too noisy because of the guests at bar. They yelled and laughed until midnight. And also As i said above, There are stains on towels and pillows. This made us a little skeptical about cleanliness.

Good size apartment with lovely balcony overlooking the pool area. Pool was the perfect temperature, and even through the pool area was busy there was always room to relax on the loungers. Friendly staff, always pleasant to chat to and keen to help. Well located apartment in a quiet street but still only a short walk from the old town. Supermarket and laundry very close to the property.

Really great value hotel! Loads of sun and a spacious pool. Balcony was a great addition! Hippocrates the bartender and all the staff was lovely. Lots of groups of young people but a few families as well.

Only negative was the kitchen wasn’t very stocked up. It had plates ect but could of used some salt/pepper and some washing up liquid and tea towels.

Loved the location. So easy to find your way to the tourist spots and harbour. Easy walking. Apartment was spotlessly clean, fresh towels everyday. Nice balcony with furniture and a clothes drying frame. There is a lift to get to higher floors. Opposite there is a mimi mart and another around the corner. There is a laundry also around the corner you can drop your washing off to. On nearby Boubolina St there are some great Tavernas which can be cheaper but the food is excellent.

Pick your time when you go. We arrived when it was European school breaks. We had groups of teenagers celebrating end of their school year (so they should) but screaming, singing doors banging between midnight and 0230 is no fun for people trying to sleep. We even had one girl asking us around 0200 if she could climb over our balcony onto hers to see if the balcony doors were open as she didn’t have her key and had got separated from her friends.
