I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Catherine Hotel in Kos. The location is incredibly central – just a short walk to everything you need, including the harbor, shops, and restaurants. The hotel itself is very cozy, spotlessly clean, and welcoming. What made my stay truly special was the wonderful staff and the lovely family who run the hotel. They were genuinely kind, warm, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their hospitality felt authentic and heartfelt, and I truly appreciated their care and attention throughout my stay. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out, and I felt more than satisfied with the entire experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Catherine Hotel to anyone visiting Kos. It’s a place where you’ll feel at home, and I would gladly stay here again!

Friendly and helpful proprietors: This hotel is owned and run by an older couple and their adult son. The mother was a true sweetheart. Location is excellent, everything is in walking distance. The breakfast is a fabulously stocked buffet. There is something for everyone, whether they prefer carbs or proteins.

The shower is very small and hard to maneuver in. Not recommended for an oversized person. In the evening they turn on all balcony lights interfering with the enjoment of the evening and the guests' ability to see out. This is a mistake and totally unnecessary, as each balcony is equipped with it's own light for those who wish to have it lit.

Located in the City Center of Kos Town, the hotel lies in a narrow side street. It is also quite close to the port (Ferry & Marina). Despite the central location it is still a quiet neighborhood compared to other parts of the city (in October). They serve a good breakfast. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was small, but perfect for one night, to catch the ferry next day. Our room faced the backyard (with some trees) and had a small balcony. AC worked well. If you want to go to the airport you can use their shuttle service or check shuttledirect. They have also an elevator, which is helpful if you got a lot of luggage or have special needs, but be aware it is very small (1 pax max). A good option for your next stay in Kos Town.

Good position in Kos town. Very close to the harbour but in a quiet street. Good selection for breakfast. Shower good. Room was clean but a little small. There was nowhere to put our suitcases other than upright and closed on the floor. The lady at reception was very nice and friendly and helpful. I had several nice chats with her.

If I was staying for a longer holiday, I would need more space in the room.

100 yards from harbour, down side street, not too noisy hotel, very vibrant Kos town. Plenty of boat trips from harbour. Two star hotel but more like three star, all clean and new everywhere. Breakfast always restocked and good verity, very surprised at what we got for two star. ALL STAFF WERE GREAT, Bit of a complicated one way system in town. Many thanks Jack n Jan.👍😂

At times air-conditioning in room was too cold, easy turn it off open patio door....

Great location, just few steps away from the old port and the old part of the town. You can find everything you need in a walking distance. Friendly owners/personnel. Typical buffet breakfast. Nice rooms with air condition and modern equipment. There was hot water all day and with good pressure. Some of the rooms have side sea view.

It was hard to open/close the sliding doors of the balcony. We had 2 rooms. In one room you could not lock the shutter sliding door. In the second room you could not lock the window sliding door. The room with the side sea view was facing a busy road so you couldn't stay at the balcony for long because of the noise.

We stayed for 7 days, the rooms were clean, comfortable, the location is great, walking distance to the old town and beaches, the staff were friendly, they helped me with everything from renting a car to making restaurant reservations. We had a nice holiday.

It wasn't nice to have the same thing for breakfast every day, especially when staying for a long time.

Nice modern clean hotel. very close to the port, restaurants, bars, supermarket. Bus stop to the beaches and airport is around 10 minutes walk. Bed is comfy. There is an area to drop the bags which is handly.

The hotel is on a main street so the noise from the cars, motorcycle and music band from the near by cafe could be easily heard even if the windows are closed.

The location is fantastic, right next to all the restaurants, short walk to the old town, shops, tourist attractions. Front desk staff are very helpful and friendly, can store baggage. The rooms are clean spacious and modern. The aircon was great during my summer stay.

It would have been good to have a door sign for guests that didn't want room service/ not to be disturbed provided.

The hotel is well located, close to the port and ferries. The staff was exceptionally nice. They met all our special requests and helped us with whatever we needed. Our plane was 5 hours delayed and it was too late at night for a bus to town. Still - after a phone call to the hotel - a taxi that was already at the airport came and took us to Kos town - without additional charge. We got a nice room on top of the building where we were completely on our own - with a table and 2 chairs outside in the wind and a lovely morning view of the port! The room (with fridge) and bathroom were modern and new. At check in we received breakfast coupons as bonus - although we had not booked breakfast. The breakfast was superbe with a huge variety of food and coffee/tea - the atmosphere in the breakfast room was very peaceful and the staff attentive. The lady at the reception was very nice and helpful for getting tickets for our onward trip by ferry.

The beds, the mattress.... The twin beds were quite narrow... Ok, we could have lived with it.... but the mattresses were so soft that we both got great back pain - during the night and in the morning (and the two of us are of very different shape and weight).
