We have stayed at philippos a few times ,the apartments are great for self-catering, kitchen has everything you need if you want to make a light meal ,our apartment very spacious and clean, philippos is very friendly and approachable if you have any queries/questions he will do his upmost to help you anyway he can ,we chose philippos as they are directly across from banana beach and near harbour, restaurants and shops,supermarkets, we always have a an apartment with sea view ,if you enjoy watching sunrise and sunset from your balcony or terrace then you are in for the most stunning veiws ,now a little tip mosquitoes very common in kardamena so please make sure you bring a mosquito repellent plug in for your apartment I also found a small citronella candle on the balcony effectiv but most of all close your patio doors and you shouldn't have any problems. Very happy there wasn't anything we didn't like

Phillippos was amazing! nothing is too much trouble. I am a well travelled girl who always chooses self catering as my preferred option, Greece self catering apartments are basic, no matter what island, however Phillippos apartments are clean, within an excellent location and the family are just so friendly. I firmly believe the people of Kos particularly Kardamena are the friendliest in the world. Phillippos and other staff did everything possible to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We accidently left the shutters/patio doors open all night after a drunken night. when we awoke in the morning we realised we was sharing the room with a few mosquitos. The staff fixed this little problem whilst we was out for the day. we came back to a nice clean mosquitos free room. Mosquitoes are a natural phenomena and not something I have ever experienced on Kos before, clearly its just a bad year for them and nothing that Phillippos or anyone else can do anything about This apartment is on the outskirts of Kardamena giving the best of both the peace and quiet/sea view and close to all the amenities. there is a fantastic beach and bar a short walk away. I would highly recommend the holiday destination and Phillippos apartments. I would stay again- thank you for such a great stay!

Great location at the end of the town. Over the road from the beach. Room was good, comfy beds, small kitchenette, balcony, pull out washing line. Absolutely perfect for our length of stay. Price was reasonable for the high season. Philippos is the perfect host and the staff are friendly and helpful. Room cleaned daily. Large bottle of water in fridge on arrival. The restaurant that Philippos recommended, over the road, was outstanding. Great coffee and choice of dining options along the beach. 10 mi s walk to town centre.

The shower was tiny, hard to not get water on bathroom floor. Drain was good so it disappeared quickly. Wi-Fi was a bit patchy at times. Extra charge for air con. Nothing major.

Philippos was the best host I've ever experienced ,what ever we asked he went up and beyond for us. Location excellent his recommendation to trips and restaurants amazing. I would highly recommend this studio appartment we were on the ground floor room 1 with a sea view. Staff very friendly and we will return.

There was nothing I didn't like, no negatives from us I'm afraid.

The location was quiet and convenient. Right on the edge of the bustle of Kardamena, we could have dinner and drinks then head for a snooze in the peace and quiet of Philippos apartments. The rooms had everything we needed, they were super clean and the beds comfy. The balconies we had were at the front of the building and had a lovely sea view. Phillipos is also contactable by WhatsApp and was quick to get back to me about leaving our bags on the day of travelling home. He was so kind that he let us use the rooms until we needed to leave late into the evening. The pictures on the listing don't do it justice. Book and you'll see for yourself.

One tiny downfall was the shower curtain was a bit annoying when taking a shower as it would blow into you but I didn't mind too much as the water pressure was good and the water from the shower didn't go all over the floor like I've experienced in other places.

Location, easy beach access, Phillipos was super helpful and very responsive. Check in & check out was easy. Very good value for money. Cleaning lady washed our dishes, cleaning was well (no cleaning on Sunday). Had a bottle of cold water to welcome us.

Mosquitos, bring spray and Phillipos explained how to use blinders. Out of 5 nights towels were changed only once.

An amazing location, Kardamena is a busy town (during summer) but at Phillipos you have an amazing calm corner, away from most tourists but close to some nice beaches and restaurants. Phillipos himself was very approachable and gave us a lot of good tips, from scooter rental to cruises and what not. Excellent host.

Very comfortable bed. Excellent air conditioning. Large balcony. Quiet, lovely location but in easy reach of the centre of town. Friendly owner. Complimentary litre bottle of water in the fridge on arrival. Very clean.

Had to phone the owner to check in and check out and my phone wasn't working so well. Make sure that you ask for single beds if that's what you want.

The accommodation was comfortable, clean, well-organized, and close to the beach, bars, and restaurants, exactly as described on the listing. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, always available for any questions or assistance, offering plenty of useful tips, and it was a pleasure to chat with him. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a pleasant and carefree stay.

Phillipos is such a lovely person who really cares about his guests. My flight was very delayed and so I arrived much later than originally planned and very late at night. I had e-mailed Phillipos to keep him informed and he was there to greet me and took me through things thoroughly and efficiently, with good grace and a friendly manner even though it was so late. This immediately put me at ease and I knew that I had made the right choice of accommodation. All the staff at the property are friendly, polite and welcoming and staying at the apartments felt like being part of a family. Also, if you need to hire a car or need a taxi, Phillipos can arrange it for you. He booked my taxi țo the airport for my return and it arrived just as arranged. The pool area is so clean with plenty of sun beds and also a very short distance to the beach, so much so that guests left their beds to take a dip in the sea if they didn't want to swim in the pool, which was crystal clear and a good size, and returned to enjoy the sun..... just as if the sun beds were on the beach. The pool bar stocks a large variety of drinks and a good choice of snacks and light meals. There is an amazing Fish Restaurant in close proximity and the centre of Kardamena is a pleasant stroll...... Phillipos' property is perfectly situated and equally suitable if you are looking for a stay to recharge yourself as I was, or if you want a more lively holiday and to experience what Kardamena has to offer.
