The location and view is truly magnificent. We are happy we kept on searching for a location to spend our last night in Greece and found your apartment, which turned out to be an absolute number 1 to end our 2-week trip with. Thank you for that.

Suppose I could mention a minor thing or 2 but it all is irrelevant compared with the above.

The location was absolutely breathtaking, just a short walk from the Temple of Poseidon. At night, the view of the illuminated temple from the villa’s deck was simply stunning. Adding to the experience, the breakfast was nothing short of exceptional. Check-in was seamless, and the staff was warm and welcoming, ensuring a smooth start to our stay. While dining options require a drive, it’s best to arrive prepared with food if coming in late. The room was well-equipped with a water kettle, coffee machine, and panini grill, adding extra convenience to an already fantastic stay. The rooms were beautifully decorated, offering a charming and comfortable ambiance. For those new to international travel, it’s worth noting that plumbing and electrical standards may differ from those of a five-star resort, adding to the authenticity of the experience. We truly had no complaints. Just keep in mind that when traveling abroad, especially along the coast, certain aspects may differ from what you're accustomed to—but that’s all part of the adventure!

HOW WE FOUND THIS GEM: We were looking for a place near Athens to relax after a cruise (we'd been to Athens before and wanted something more beachy/chill vs more crowds/tours). A friend recommended Sounio for our "come down" and we found Poseidon Apts/Villas through booking.com. This is a gorgeous little property (not a huge resort) with new ownership, the perfect choice for the last few days or our vacation. THE PROPERTY ITSELF -Views are to die for - Poseidon's Temple sits just over the hill. GORGEOUS. -Property has its own private beach and is adjacent to a public beach. Again, GORGEOUS. There are chairs/umbrellas to borrow. -New ownership has refurbished several of the rooms. Ours was much larger than a traditional hotel room and was good for our family of 4. Balcony was perfect for reading/watching sunsets, and the private spa was a nice surprise. -No pool at the present time, but I understand that the owners plan to add one before next summer. That will be a perfect addition to complete the resort's offerings. WHAT IS THERE TO DO? Poseidon's Temple, beach, relax, repeat ARE THERE FOOD OPTIONS? We had no idea what to expect in terms of food; thankfully the resort had more than we imagined. A light breakfast every morning plus enough to choose from for lunch/snacks/drinks every day. There are 2 fish restaurants and a hotel restaurant just a short walk down the hill from the resort; great for dinner but it was nice not to have to leave the property during the day. THE BEST PART? More than the gorgeous scenery, amazing beach, and spacious rooms, what stays with me is the hospitality we received from every single person on staff. From the moment we arrived, Marina welcomed us with open arms; she simply MADE our stay. Kostas was the evening host who kept us happy during happy hour, and Pepi (owner) was equally gracious. They treated us like family and became friends for life.

Nothing! When the pool goes in, that will help complete the potential of the property.

The hotel is gorgeous. The outdoor spaces are clean, comfortable, and the view of the sea is beautiful. They also provide a lot of sun beds, umbrellas, etc. to have a good time! There is a small private beach at the property, which is a huge plus. It is rocky, but great for a quick swim in the morning. They gave us a welcome shot when we arrived, and complimentary breakfast during our first morning. That was a very nice touch! Location is great as well! 5 mins away from the Temple of Poseidon, and 10 minutes away from beautiful beaches!

In our room there wasn't a proper division between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, so the floor gets completely flooded when you take a shower, and then there isn't a great drainage system so that the water can drain quickly. Also, the best creaked a lot, which is not ideal if you're on a romantic getaway ;)

The place was beautiful and the owner was so helpful and made u feel so welcome even tho I did not get there time 10pm she made sure we was comfortable even gave us a upgrade the view and place it's self was amazing get my new place to stop when driving over to cyprus 100% and parking is secure couldn't ask for a nicer place

I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer there as I add a boat to get it was that nice

Location is fantastic. On top of the sea. Which their own beach. From the front rooms you can see the Poseidon Temple. Breakfast is delicious. And staff super friendly and they are always with a smile if you need something. Next to the villa/ hotel is a small bay with La lovely restaurant. I recommend it. Very good location (5' from Sounio archeological site), amazing view, super friendly and helpful staff, direct access to an amazing private beach, welcome drinks and breakfast were offered. Free offer of swimming accessories (umbrellas, etc). Baby facilities were offered (baby bed).

Privacy curtain will need to be enhanced. Kit for drying swimming clothing was not provided. Ventilation in the room will need to be improved in a long term (e.g. opening a small window at the outer wall).

Fantastic location …great value…we had a large suite with a view of Cape Sounio and the sea, and a terrace ,it was spacious, very comfy bed ,a new bathroom, small kitchen, fridge , complimentary water & coffee was appreciated…Kostas was so welcoming…we ate a fantastic meal nearby Elias fish taverna on the bay down the hill …it has its own private beach …this stay was perfect…highly recommend …thankyou

We liked the location a lot, it’s very beautiful sea / mountain view, quite place , close to the beach and have 2 good restaurants nearby! Very friendly stuff!

The description of the studio was saying 94 square meters size, which is completely different. The studio(we got) is the tiniest(~15m2).We asked the manager to change the room and we moved to the villa with two bedrooms, which was very nice.

Very nice and cute place, overlooking the beach (also from the private terrasse), walking distance to Poseidon temple, very friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast!

Everything was wonderful. Just end of february the nights are still quite cold, the AC and a heater helped of course but they were also a bit noisy.
