Exceptional location close to everything in the town and the port. Walking distance to many local sights including the local Amoglossa beach and provides full service. Hotel has a great pool - rare in this location. Loved to lounge at the pool and have a cocktail or doffe after a hot day on the beach. The front desk is 24 hours and always availeble to help with whatever you need. Reserve a room with a view of the water and the mainland and you will love it. Full breakfast (hot and cold offerings) in the morning to start your day. Wi-fi was great. I am planning on returning next year.

THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD AND PLENTY. THE POSITION IS PERFECT IN THE CENTER OF LEFKADE, YOU CAN EASILY WALK OUT FOR DINNER AND USE THE FACILITIES

IT IS LOCATED IN THE CENTER OF LEFKADE SO I THINK IT NEEDS A TOTAL RENOVATION TO HAVE CONTEMPORARY STANDARDS.

the hotel was in the very center of the old town, with easy access to all restaurants and the main street. we explored the island by bus, and the hotel was very close to the bus station. the staff was wonderful! they helped with all our questions and requests, and were so friendly and welcoming. really made our stay wonderful! also really enjoyed the pool as the weather was very warm

as it is in the center of the city it was a bit noisy at night. however, this was not a big issue for us. lovely hotel!

We stayed one night at Ionion Star after returning from two weeks on the sailing boat. I am aware that lots of reviewers rate the place on 7, because of its simplicity and slightly dated look/interior. Whilst this is the case, my rating is based by comparing it to other hotels in a similar price category and if the property is fulfilling what it promises. The rooms are clean and as a family traveling with 3 kids, offered sufficient space, even with the extra bed in the room. The pool is a nice size and was super clean and most welcome during the July heat. It is super central but we still had a quiet night after a stroll through the busy streets of Levkada town at night right on our door step. For this price, the breakfast was actually fine. Staff very friendly and helpful. I forgot my glasses in the room after checkout and they informed me immediately. For a 1-2 night stay the perfect place. If you look for a a more designed space, you would have to go elsewhere. For us and what were were looking for it was perfect.

The hotel was very centrally located, with good facilities. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of options, both hot and cold. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was that there was a swimming pool, and we made good use of that during our stay.

We would have liked to see some information (even just a printed sheet in the room) about the history of the hotel, as it had some interesting features. It did have a slightly corporate feel, but the staff were friendly and efficient.

Very dated rooms with poor furnishings, bathroom had broken open electrical items near shower! Music around pool too loud and this could be heard in our room also

the friendly greeting at reception, the hotel was clean and nicely decorated with flowers and modern art pieces, they had a great swimming pool and bar and they had a modern lift to all floors. The room maids were very friendly and serviced our room very well every day.

The breakfast was adequate but the hot food offering was quite limited. No complaints about the room or the view from the balcony.

The location is perfect, in the heart of Lefkada town, only footsteps from all local amenities, wonderful views of the sea and the harbour from both sides.. All the people working there are so polite and friendly, starting from the receptionists, the poolbar girl, the cleaning lady from the first floor was so nice and helpful. The room was comfortable, with big balcony. Only the toilet is a bit tiny. The pool is beautiful, clean and warm water, but it needs a little touch in the area around it, some new tables maybe.

The location was excellent. We were able to walk to all the restaurants and bars at night. However parking was an issue depending on the time of day we came back from the beach. Luckily we were able to park on the bridge near by.

The mattresses where on the hard side. The rooms are not renovated. Carpet was really run down in our room. Also there was no air conditioning in the hallway. But the location is really great.

Booked for our last night prior to flying home; chosen for excellent location. We had booked a pool view room but got a room overlooking the front of the hotel/sea. As the pool was still empty at the time of the visit (27/5) the sea view was better - would have been even better if the platia in front wasn’t being re-modelled. We were aware of this though and being the weekend we weren’t disturbed by building noise. Our room was nicely furnished and decorated. Beds were on the hard side - even for me as someone who prefers that. The wardrobe area was older as was the bathroom. Everything very clean though and in good order. Plenty of storage. We loved the quirky art/decoration in the public areas/hallways. We opted into breakfast (€8pp) and it was worth the cost. The staff we met - reception and dining room - were lovely. This hotel is of its age and a little frayed around the edges in parts but it’s in a great spot and will soon have an even better outlook than before.

Gaving checked beforehand, there was no mention of hair dryers in the rooms so I lugged one around our island hop just for this one night; there WAS one in the bathroom.
