I had a truly wonderful stay at Kefalonia Beach Hotel & Bungalows. This is a place for those who want a quiet, relaxing holiday surrounded by nature and the sea, far away from noise and crowds. The hotel sits right on a perfect beach, which is clean, peaceful, and even home to turtle nests at the right end – an incredible and unique experience. The hotel itself has a charming vintage character, which I personally found absolutely adorable. While it may not be ultra-modern, the rooms are very clean, comfortable, and well cared for. What makes the hotel stand out most is the staff – welcoming, friendly, and genuinely approachable. The personal service they offer makes you feel at home, not just like another guest. For convenience, there is a small shop within the hotel at Xi Beach (on the left end of the beach), which is helpful since the location is more remote. This hotel is ideal if you want to slow down, breathe, and enjoy a quiet holiday by the sea, surrounded by nature. I would highly recommend Kefalonia Beach Hotel & Bungalows to anyone looking for peace, beauty, and authenticity in their holiday.

It was a very quiet place. The owners were good and reasonable. Beach is right next to apartments.. they also have a small restaurant. It's not as much of offerings but enough for you to feel Greek culture. Rooms were cleaned every day. Condition was working very good. Pretty nice complex. Familys would enjoy it.

The place where the complex was were a little bit isolated. Not a market, not a coffee shop, anything at all. You need a car if you wanna be flexible and see the island. The bus is not going either.. We had a problem with the rooms. We requested a shared bed, but we got two single ones... They said that we would get the change next night, but that never happened. It was not pleasant for a young couple to sleep separately... The wifi was poor, 90% of the time is not working.

Lovely houses situated near the beach, the owners are very kind and helpful, they run a restaurant right on the property, its a quiet place that is quite secluded from the cities but you have most of what you might need right there, perfect for if you are looking for a vacation without crowds of people. There is a lot to explore by walking on the beach in either direction as far as it takes you which made for a good adventure. If you want to try seafood there are other nearby restaurants to try out. The rooms arent too spacious but we didn't really mind that and they seemed quite sound-proof too + a cleaning service each day. Breakfast had some traditional Greek food and overall a nice selection as well as coffee of your choosing paired with the seaview made for a good start to each day, wine beer and drinks made for a good end of each day with a tasty dinner, we had a great vacation here 🫶

The only downside is that there is no store nearby, by foot its about a 20-30 minutes long walk to the nearest stores, there were a lot of mosquitos too but the owners gave us a mosquito device so it wasn't really an issue :)

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying breakfast with that stunning view is something you won’t forget! The cleanliness of the entire property is top-notch. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile and make you feel at home. The breakfast is another highlight — tasty, fresh, and quite consistent. It really sets you up for a good start to the day, and having it while overlooking the sea makes it even more special. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway by the sea, with great service, comfort, and nice view.

If I were to mention one downside, it would be the presence of mosquitos in the evening. However, this is a minor issue and easily solved by using a mosquito repellent device in the room — which we did, and it worked just fine. Also you need a car to get to Lixouri in the evening.

Hotel managers are very kind, they are a family absolutely kind, they make you feel home. They are also very keen to conversation if you want to have a talk, plus they will give you hints about places to visit in Kefalonia. When we arrived it was very hot, they gave as watermelon in order to let us cool down a bit. The hotel sits in a very peaceful place, if you're looking for tranquility you will find it there for sure.

Sometimes there were some little inattetions when the room was cleaned. Plus, in the beginning you might expect to find someone in their hall but actually most of the times they're at their restaurant. Nothing serious, as they are very keen to fix everything up if you tell them what's wrong, but if you are the kind of person who can't overlook these little things then you might be a bit disappointed.

The location was amazing and the beach was perfect for family. Natalie & Donny were accommodating us and super nice. Donny fixed our AC system. Natalie is a great host, she recommends a great restaurant in the area. Loved everything about there hotel.

The next-door beach restaurant people were rude, and we accidentally walked their side of the beach and the restaurant guy told us don't walk back here again, next time I won't be nice to you. I'm like it's just a beach, relax my friend. But then I realize he is an Eastern European or Russian and they don't smile.

Beautiful location if you are looking for calmness and peace. The beach is just a stone throw away! It's a family run hotel and they are really wonderful people including the support staff (cleaners & cookers). Our room was cleaned every day and we actually felt that we were family guest rather than ordinary hotel clients. Thank you so much Natalia including your hard working twin daughters, husband and myrtos. You all made our 10 day stay very memorable.

Very beautiful location and a very well managed hotel

The location is wonderful, with a nice sea view. It is suitable for vacationers looking for peace and quiet. Breakfast is not very diverse, but it is enough to start the day.

For pre-paid dinner guests, it would be better to provide them in advance (in the morning or the evening before) with a menu to choose from, to avoid being offered dishes from the previous day.

The location, proximity to the sea, accommodation, staff and services (breakfast, daily cleaning) were all excellent. We appreciated the comfort of the accommodation and the effort of the entire staff to make all guests feel very good. Thank you very much, Natalia. We look forward to coming back.
