The location, beautiful view of the caldera from our patio where we enjoyed our breakfasts. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Absolutely pleasant!

- Wi-Fi did not work inside the room but was good in all other parts of the hotel (patio, pool area etc) - Tap water is not drinkable on this island. Hotel will generously provide you with 1 liter of bottled water per day, free of charge. If you need more you are advised to buy it from the local supermarket. - Breakfast is included in the hotel price. Breakfast is ordered digitally every day to your room or the pool bar. However, when checking out some of the things you’ve ordered were considered “extra” and put on the final bill with no previous information. This could have been more transparent.

I stayed at On The Rocks hotel for 10 days in July/August. Suite 13 is the prettiest in the whole hotel, with beautiful cerise pink bougainvillea flowers cascading from the stunning private rooftop terrace to my front door below. Everything was simply perfect. The staff are truly incredible - special thanks to the restaurant/bar/room service team Xara, Sharif, Marius & Suhem. Thanks also to Edward the porter & Maria in reception. I can't wait to return to see you all again early next year. Thank you all for an unforgettable holiday.

What we enjoyed: 1. Location - the highest point of the island and much quieter than Fira where the cruise ships come in. The view from the room and pool area were completely unobstructed of the Caldera, approximately 1000 feet above see level. 2. The staff greeted us very warmly and were expecting us. Since this is a small boutique hotel, you become friends with the staff. Sharef and Cornelia were just a few that went above and beyond. 3. Small restaurant bar/grill near the pool was so convenient. We stayed one day on property due to view and service. 4. They suggested a 5 hour Catamaran Tour of the sunset at ~160 Euros per person, which included transportation and dinner. Swam in thermal core of volcano and other interesting spots. The greek food cooked by the staff was excellent! Highly recommend! If not a great swimmer, they have noodles for floating. We met very nice guests from all over the world! 5. The included breakfast is very good and ample, especially when eating on your own deck.

Not a complaint but a reality to stay at a cliffside hotel in Santorini, just expect to walk a lot of steps. I don't mind because I can eat more fried Feta with glazed honey. Our room on very bottom, was 123 steps to the top. I don't think I can add a photo to describe this view thus so worth it!

On the Rocks hotel was incredible! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to anticipate our needs/wants. It was a quiet, peaceful, relaxing place. Everything was with ease, and it was a beautiful location; close to stores/shops etc. The restaurant served 10/10 food as well. The staff really made it the best part though; they were amazing!

Spectacular view from our suite. We booked the master suite with a pool - well sized rooms and beds with enough privacy and a private pool to use at any time .Hotel well located. Helpful staff that assisted us with transfers from port and to airport and, restaurants and excursions bookings. Hotel very close to shops for quick meal, snacks and other essentials. Visited a lovely restaurant very close to the hotel.Note there are plenty stairs to manage- beauty of Santorini. Also have porters to help carry luggage to and from room.

Brilliant location, fantastic room and a view to die for! Bags collected and carried to your room ( steps!!!!) Very very Hilly be warned if you are not fit and able bodied. Lovely breakfast in your room everyday - or by the pool if preferred. Small pool available but 5 flights of steep uneven steps down ( and that's where the bar and restaurant is too). We did venture down once and the food wad excellent. However there is so much on offer we didn't use again. Spa treatments were good.

A few minor tweets needed. Facia around hot tub. We had an issue with the toilet for a couple of days. But it was mended and recompense was made. Santorini is a wonderful place, but not for the faint hearted.

Our stay at On The Rocks in Imerovigli was pure magic! The room was a luxurious sanctuary with breathtaking caldera views from our private balcony and hottub. The staff were amazing, especially Maria, whose warmth and helpfulness made our stay incredibly special. She helped with booking restaurants, transfers and bars during our stay. And the breakfast was a delicious start to each day, enjoyed with those magnificent caldera views. On The Rocks perfectly combines stunning views, top-notch service, and elegant comfort for an unforgettable Santorini escape.

The hotel has a perfect location in Imerovigli, directly on the path between Fira and Oia. The view is spectacular and the staff, particularly the reception staff, was kind and helpful in providing information and advice. Rooms are all different in size and orientation due to the location of the hotel, which is literally on the rocks. We loved the view from our room and the terrace, and from basically any part of the hotel. The room was comfortable despite the fact that it was "special" as literally being built on the rocks.

Where we loved our room due to the magnificent view, we think that the reception should agree with the customer in advance the assignment of such room (if I remember well it was room 15): the reason is that the bed lies on a rock, with three (high) steps to get to the bed. Also, there is another high step to go to the bathroom. When we entered the room we were a bit surprised and worried about the convenience of such room (we arrived late in the evening so there was no chance to change to another room). The next days the staff was very helpful and proposed alternatives, but in the end we decided to stay in our room because the view was spectacular and the terrace was generously sized and private.

We had the honeymoon sweet (Room 22) at the top part of the hotel so not so many steps up and down. Our room was large, clean and very pleasant. Lovely large bed 5ft 6 or 6 foot. There was free coffee (Nespresso) and bottled water supplied in the room. Breakfast was great especially on the terrace in front of your room overlooking the caldera. The views were truly spectacular just like the pictures on line. Very relaxing, romantic and picturesque. The staff were super helpful, always happy and pleasant and nothing was too much trouble.

Nothing really, perhaps a view from the hot tub would have been nice but being a bit fussy here.

We got a beautiful clean suite, with an amazing panoramic view. The staff was really frienly and really helpfull, mainly the receptionist guy who gives us every information we needed( he recommend beach, bars, gave us bus itinerary, etc, so 5 star for him). The breakfast was really tasty and was outstanding on the balcony. The location was perfect, close to everything. We would go back again, thanks for this amazing vacation.:-) Z+A
