Amazing location, and fantastic staff. Beautiful view, and super clean! Breakfast on our patio was great!

Pictures on Booking did not match the room and especially the “private” patio. Patio was not private, separated with neighbors by knee high flower pots, which staffed moved to give more room for our neighbors. The pictures online made it appear that the patio was two levels and private, but this was not the case, and was the main reason I spent around $1,200/night for the room. Also, the dinner was our least favorite of all the places we ate during our stay. There was very little taste to the lobster, mixed drinks were not very good, service was lacking, and overpriced for what we got. Internet was sporadic, with times of no service in our room. Staff said this happens from time to time, but couldn’t fix it.

What did we like? Pretty much everything!! Just walking out of our room and looking down at the caldera or up at the completely dense whitewashed houses above us— most of which were other high end hotels— delighted us. These were sights we never tired of. They were so spectacular that it was hard to believe they were real. The view was especially spectacular in sunset from our verandah or our (shaded) sun beds or the hotel’s outdoor restaurant or its pool area .Our room—carved out of the volcanic rock —was quite spacious and very appealing. The bed into which my mother wife and I gladly sunk after a day of touring or just walking was like a welcoming pillow into which we sank — to emerge refreshed the next day — though honestly the sensation was so nice that, despite the fabulous views waiting us, we never wanted to leave our bed. Especially since we could open the shutter on our door and look out at sunset! The hotel breakfast was very good and dinner in the hotel was also good, but we normally would take a five minute or so walk up a steep set of steps to get to a main square where there were two highly rated restaurants, one specializing in fish and the other in meat. We loved the fish restaurant , the Aegean, since it also has a lovely view of the caldera and the whitewashed rooms, We ate there four times: sea bream, sea bass, snapper and on our last night lobster. These were as good as it gets. But the bonus was the scrumptious and distinctive desserts (half a dozen or so kinds) of which we tried four! (Warning: these desserts are not for those counting calories.) We especially liked the very unusual cheesecake. The staff were gracious and helpful. When our taxi came they arranged to meet it and sent two of the staff to take all our luggage down the set of steps to our room. Watching them tote two bags each while skipping down steep steps was an experience. And ditto in shlepping our luggage to meet the taxi that picked us up after our week long stay.

There were minor problems but none that could take away from the beauty and charm of this hotel given the cheeriness and friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. 1. The water wasn’t potable but that was to be expected on a volcanic island. But twice daily the staff brought free bottled water to our room and they would have quickly provided more if we needed it pretty much 24/7. 2. My wife and I are not young and there are plenty of steps, but they gave us a room that minimized this problem. And they cheerfully dealt with our luggage so that we never needed to carry anything.

The view and room were amazing. Everything was perfectly clean and beautifully arranged. A really flawless room in a beautiful location. The provided breakfast was as pretty as it was delicious. We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite which included an indoor pool/hot tub. It was unexpected and a great end to each day. We stayed four nights and wich we could have stayed longer, Highly recommended.

I loved everything about the property. it was my birthday and the staff were very helpful and accommodating ensuring everything was well planned for my arrival, the receptionist with the blonde hair I cant remember her name is a treasure to keep, you can tell she loves her Job , very happy , very helpful staff. They’re all very wonderful people working there. Stayed in the Caldera with jetted pool the views are to die for. Breakfast was good too, everything and everyone at this hotel was perfect. Just book it.

Had to choose from the breakfast menu the night before - which I found strange. Bar staff could/should offer proactive drinks service by seeking out guests. This hotel is on various levels and it wouldn’t be difficult for them to occasionally “make the rounds” These are all small matters - it’s a great hotel.

The view was amazing. Property was always clean including all the hot tubs and pool area. The staff was very attentive, helpful, and quick in response time. Would definitely return!

We were in a lower room so anytime there was wind the umbrellas on the deck above us would sway and make a pounding noise from the cement base. Even with the umbrellas closed. During the day not a big deal but at night it could be annoying.

This is a first-class property with first-class staff, superb surroundings, spotless facilities and a romantic ambiance. This was my second stay in Santorini and I couldn’t rate it highly enough. Staff go out of their way to get things right from Aphrodite to Marialena, Alex, Carlos, the housekeeping, restaurant and porter teams. You can tell they work as a united effort for their guests.

There was nothing not to like. And I rarely say that about a property.

The room was just beautiful we were in the cliff suit with indoor and outdoor hot tub which was amazing. The views were spectacular and the staff were so friendly and got us into the Greek Easter traditions

There is a lot of steps! But that is expected in Santorini. The balcony was a bit small in our room, but the rest was beautiful so made up for it

This is the most spectacular hotel. The location is ideal for the island - Imeroviglion is perfectly situated for a short and picturesque walk to Fira and a reasonable taxi to Oia. I would say it's the best of both worlds. The hotel is perched on the edge of a cliff and affords the most spectacular view from virtually anywhere in it, all across the whole of the Caldera. It is stunning. It is beautifully kept - spotless everywhere with beautiful white buildings so typical of Santorini. Lots of steps and different levels so expect that! Beautifully decorated with lovely plants and gorgeous rooms. Good aircon. Great bathroom. Very clean and beautifully presented everywhere. delicious breakfasts that you choose the day before and which are delivered to the table outside your room so you can sit and enjoy the view in privacy. You have your own sun loungers and umbrella outside your room too. The main pool is gorgeous - again a stunning view. I had the most epic massage too - a lovely little spa and a great range of massages. I simply can't fault it at all. It was the most wonderful place to stay!

Nothing - it was perfect.

I had the Cliff suite with an indoor pool and outdoor private plunge pool. It was completely private with the most breathtaking views over the Caldera. The main pools, cocktail bar, breakfast area are all gorgeous too. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, 5 star service from beginning to end.

I honestly couldn’t fault any part of my stay.
