Location was great and views incredible. Room was lovely, a good size and had a nice private outdoor area which was lovely. We also got a free bottle of wine and a facial which was a nice touch.

Breakfast wasn’t great for the price. Very limited options compared to other hotels we stayed at in Greece, especially for vegetarians and quite difficult to even order a coffee.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite. The view of Caldera is absolutely breathtaking, and watching the sunset go down on the private balcony with heated hot tub was the perfect way to end each day. The bathroom is spacious with really nice Apivita range of hygiene products. The location is great, mini marts, ATM, pharmacy, coffee shops/restaurants are all on the road behind hotel. We were greeted by Kon who made us feel very welcomed & provided us with lots of info and carried our luggage’s up to rooms. The hotel also arranged us transfers to/from airport and had our luggage completely taken care of and delivered/taken from our room. We didn’t have to lift a finger. The pool was perfect temperature, and has a fantastic built in sun bed and seating/spa jets. The day beds, lounges and towels/umbrellas around the pool are awesome, and the plants and landscaping are just beautiful!! I literally spent all day at the pool just relaxing and swimming. Our cleaning lady (Fotina) was a lovely person. She was such a hard worker and made us smile, and nothing was too much for her. Overall the property was absolutely spotless. The hotel floors are mopped constantly and nothing is out of place. The surrounds really are pristine and well cared for. The breakfast Al a cart was excellent, and there was a side buffet which was sufficient. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Few minor improvements, which would have just made our stay even better would be: - No kettle or iron in room. - The bed (my side) mattress had a huge dip and was fairly noticeable. - Would be good if QR codes around the pool for easy access to order drinks. - Toaster in the breakfast buffet would be handy. However, the above did not affect our overall experience, enjoyment & recommendation of the hotel.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with amazing views and great facilities. Breakfast is very good, the spa is excellent and the pool is lovely. There are several excellent restaurants and bars within metres of the property. The village is peaceful and quiet compared with the rest of Santorini, although not great if you are looking to go shopping.

The room could have been improved by providing a rail to hang your towels. Also, although a coffee maker is provided, a kettle is not. We would have liked to make some herbal tea. The places to lounge by the pool are limited and we found that some couples would claim their spot for the day, leaving few options for others. We used the spa, but were turned off the hamman because of the cost -50 euro for 30 minutes. This does not provide sufficient time to use the facilities and relax.

My family and I just recently got back from our trip and our stay at Akra was hands down one of the best accommodation! I must not have been paying attention and did not realize that this is an adults only hotel but thankfully they were able to make an exception for my 6 and 3 year old kids. First I want to do a big shout out to Kostas who was literally the man who wears many hats from working the reception and the breakfast buffet in the morning - he was very helpful! The other 2 ladies at the reception were helpful too but couldn't remember their names. The breakfast spread in the morning is really good with a lot of good option. The premises is well kept and very clean and not to mention is very close to the main road so you do not have to worry about walking too many stairs yet you still get a very good caldera view. There is also a supermarket across the street and restaurants around the hotel. The room is big and the bed was comfortable. the hotel is about 15 minutes walk to Fira and about 20 mins drive to Oia. I highly recommend this place and I would definitely come back.

The property was in a very good location. The views of the Caldera were amazing. The room was lovely and was exactly how it was described. We asked if we could have our room for longer after our check out time of 12pm due to our pick up not being until 8pm. They checked for us and because there wasn’t anyone due to occupy our room until the next day they said we could have our room until we get picked up. It was so kind of them to let us have the room. It made our last day so much easier and stress free. We really appreciated this.

The only thing we didn’t like was that there was a noise we could hear from our room. It was like a generator we think and unfortunately I’m a light sleeper so it did keep me awake a bit at night. The only other thing was there wasn’t a great deal of choice at breakfast. It was exactly the same every morning. Fortunately, we don’t eat a lot at breakfast so it was fine for us but other people may find this a bit repetitive.

Our room was lovely and everyday it was tidied. There is a beautiful view of Santorini and the ocean from the pool and restaurant. We have also loved having our own hot tub outside our room. Akra Suites is in a great location, walking distance to Fira and a short car journey to Oia, meaning we've been able to explore both areas as well as Imerovigli. All of the staff have been incredibly helpful, even before we arrived at the hotel. They have answered many of our questions and recommended great places to eat. The staff have also made taxi bookings and restaurant bookings for us which has been really helpful as we haven't had to deal with the stress of that. Overall, it has been a fantastic holiday and we've had a really beautiful place to stay. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

I spent no less than 40 hours researching hotels for our family ranging from 19 to 81 and it exceeded all expectations. The location had no stairs to worry about getting to the hotel and for the first floor rooms requested. The location was right on the Oia to Fira trail situated with breathtaking views of the caldera. The staff including Maria and Georgina made sure we were well taken care rearranging our transportation when our flight was rerouted delaying us more than 9 hours! They had sandwiches waiting in our room for us when we arrived at 1 am. They purchased distilled water for my husband's CPAP machine and had it waiting in our room! They gave all the women in our family a complimentary face treatment at the spa.

Our room had the best view of the 6 rooms our family booked, however, it cost a lot more but the space was less and there was no closet but rather a clothing rod. It was minimalist but we were only there three nights. I would still book it again and simply select a different room as the other rooms surrounding the pool had their own sunbeds and more interior space.

The location was in the center of the caldera, it was far enough from Oia and Fira to be much less touristy and more quiet, but close enough to go out to the more touristy areas for dinner. The hotel is only 3 years old so it was very clean and modern. The staff were very welcoming and helpful in all aspects. We had a room with a view of the caldera and an outdoor hot tub which was a great addition at night to watch the sunset secludedly. The breakfast included was really good and had a lot of various options! We loved the pool as well during the day. We were able to set up transfers from the port and to the airport through the hotel which was very well priced. We would definitely recommend!

Nothing was really happy with the accommodations.

The view was stunning. The staff was lovely. I received a 20min complimentary facial. Dinner at the restaurant was fantastic. The complimentary breakfast was good, but nothing to write home about. The room was smaller, but comfortable and clean. It's been years since I was in Santorini. It was my first time staying in Imerovigli. Last time I stayed in Oia. It's an easy walk to Fira from Imerovigli. I can't believe it's $40 each way to go to Oia from Imerovigli in a taxi, or, a 2 hr hike. It's a flat rate for a 10min ride. It's such a rip off so beware if you aren't renting a car.

The local taxi rates are insanely ridiculous. The restaurant staff always had to ask their manager for permission if you asked questions for basic things that they were unsure about.

The location is very good looking out over the caldera. It was good being in Imerovigli which is a 20~30 minute walk from Fira. Fira was noisy and not very pretty so it is better to stay in Imerovigli. The property is beautifully maintained with nice gardens and we made good use of the pool. There are good restaurants nearby although all Santorini prices are elevated compared to other parts of Greece, including other islands. It is definitely a 5 star resort and a great place to relax.

We had a spa tub in the bathroom and found the combination of heat from the tub and the chlorine smell unpleasant. You can avoid this by booking a room with an outdoor spa. Other than this we would definitely stay again. It is worth noting that you would likely get better views of the caldera if you are on the lower side of the path to Oia, but those hotels will have a lot of steps whereas access to the Akra Suites is super easy, a 2 minute level walk from the taxi drop off point.
