An unforgettable stay at Megroviglia Boutique Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and complimentary drinks (we went with the wine, of course). The check-in process was smooth, and we were personally assisted to our room, which turned out to be a wonderful surprise! The room was stylishly furnished, spacious, and came with two private balconies, both felt like our own peaceful retreat. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, and it really elevated our experience. Breakfast was a daily highlight, with a delicious variety of options and consistently excellent service. The hotel amenities, especially the pool and sunbeds, made it even harder to leave! Megroviglia truly exceeded our expectations. The service was top-tier, the hosting incredibly warm, and every part of our stay felt special. The hotel is centrally located in Imerovigli, with a perfect sunset spot just behind the property. It’s also the ideal base for exploring the beautiful caldera of Imerovigli, which (in my opinion) is even more breathtaking than Fira or Oia. You can easily walk to Fira in about 20–30 minutes, making it convenient without sacrificing peace and quiet. Highly recommended! The hotel is very stylishly put together, with lovely decor, good music and excellent breakfast. The view from the Caldera superior room is spectacular. The staff are exceptional - professional, friendly and accommodating.

Although stylish, some of the room finishes were basic and hard to use - for example, the shower taps were loose and it was hard to get the correct temperature, the triangular bricks were a bit dusty but this is understandable due to the material being hard to clean - gloss would be easier to keep clean. These are relatively small things and for management to address because the staff work tirelessly to keep everything looking perfect, even in challenging windy circumstances.

If you are reading this and it’s the your first trip to Santorini then hopefully this review will help you. First off location. For us and this was perfect. Imerovigli is nicely situated outside the hustle and bustle of Fira and Oia and offers a multitude of fantastic restaurants, usual local shops, the iconic scenes you would associate with Santorini and spots to experience the incredible sunsets. Within 5 minutes walk of the hotel you can visit Skaros Rock and experience incredible sunset views people suggest you can only experience in Oia but is situated in closer proximity to quieter but very pleasant spots such as Firostefani. Fira itself is where you will find the central bus station where you need to go to visit any other town across the island, this is about a 20 min walk from this hotel. In terms of the hotel itself, it sits slightly behind the cliff wall of hotels where every last man and his dog can see you sunbath as walkers by frequent the cobbled pathways but pending your room you can still experience incredible sea views that also look across the aforementioned local towns – at day or night, its beautiful. In terms of he hotel itself, its amazing. Very clean, well maintained grounds, nice sized pool, relaxing chilled music, great rooms, and facilities. The breakfast was great quality made from local produce and made to order, incredible package deal when included in the price. Outside of this the afternoon and dinner menus exceeded expectations with quality wines and other beverages on offer. The staff are very attentive and makes the stay feel more exclusive. Shout out to Johanna, George and Jim (not their Greek names!). They were really nice, engaging but not too engaging, professional and helpful. I would suggest that this hotel is best suited to couples rather than young families. Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nothing bar the uphill walks in parts but this is Santorini!

probably one of the most aesthetic and stylish hotels I’ve ever stayed in, a beautiful calm away from Fira with lovely staff who upgraded our room as we were celebrating. We stayed in 103 and had an amazing view!

for the price I expect much more in terms of basic cleanliness and special touches. Our room sadly had hairs in the bathroom, around the sink, on my bedside table and the shower itself had a lot of mildew etc on the tiling that needed a good scrub. I pointed this out to staff who kindly gave us some drinks on the house but I really wish they’d sent someone to clean whilst we were out for the eve - but this didn’t get done. Other little things too were missing like the hairdryer broke whilst I was trying to use it. No milk in the fridge for coffee in the morning etc etc. Gowns would be a good touch!

George and the team were really helpful throughout our stay, we received a welcome drink on arrival which was a lovely touch after the trip from Manchester, UK. The room was spotless and really comfortable plus we had the bonus of a lovely balcony with a sea view. The hotel is positioned perfectly between the busy Oia and Fira in a quieter little town. The bus access is very easy to get around and the hotel staff were really helpful if we needed taxis. We would 100% recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.

Everything!!! The staff were absolutely incredible and helpful, particularly George who was extremely hospitable and welcoming. the location was perfect, not too busy but also a very short walk to nice restaurants to watch the sunset. The hotel was gorgeous and aesthetically pleasing and such a beautiful pool area. Breakfast every morning was amazing, they cleaned your room in the span you were at breakfast. 10/10 across the board, especially hospitality, organisation, and comfort. Would recommend to anyone and definitely come back!

Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous room. We booked on the day and got a great price! They also upgraded us to an even nicer room. The room was very spacious and had two balconies. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast (included) was delicious and made it a great value stay for one night. Sitting by the pool Was very relaxing and there were nice touches such as them bringing a glass of iced water as soon as we sat by the pool. The views are not towards the caldera but a two minute walk from the hotel took us to caldera facing terrace restaurants to take in the views during meals and drinks. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

A little dusty in the room and the shower water leaked through the door into the bathroom.

Meroviglia is completely enchanting. Upon entrance to the beautiful tiled foyer, you feel you are in a sanctuary. Ioanna is a charming host and the staff are always friendly, attentive and so professional. We loved our room with its vaulting ceiling and superb outlook to the sea. The bed and linen is high quality and very comfortable. Do not miss the breakfast!!! It is in a class of its own. The chef prepares incredible dishes and uses lovely herbs and the tastiest tomatoes we’ve ever eaten!! It is a very generous menu with many choices. We really enjoyed the yogurt and sour cherries too. Throughout, the staff were so professional but always very warm and friendly. On the basis of the breakfast, we had dinner at their restaurant (Fico). There is clearly so much love and care put into each dish. We had the ceviche, the Calabrese salad, the sirloin steak and a seafood pasta - all were wonderful. This was complimented by tremendous cocktails (Martini, Negroni and Taste of Capri) It was one of the most memorable and romantic meals of our life. Big thank you to all involved in making this hotel such a fabulous destination.

- phenomenal breakfasts - great way to start the day - Caldera view, from the highest spot in Imerovigli - Perfect location between Fira and Oia, right on the Fira to Oia walking path. Avoids the cruise ship masses in Fira and the hordes in Oia - March weather was perfect for hiking, hot under the sun with a cool breeze. - Joan, Manager of Meroviglia, was a superb hostess, anticipating our needs, making suggestions, recommending restaurants, booking scooter, organizing cars, very hospitable. - The whole staff was very helpful and accommodating. - Great cocktails in the evening around the warm fires.

This boutique hotel is designed and furnished with a really nice taste, it looks unique and elegant and it has a charm of the last century. Our room was very spacious, and the view from the terrace to the caldera was spectacular. The staff is so nice, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was impeccable. We had the best coffee choices here. Also you can find really delicious meals at the hotel’s restaurant, at Fico. Special thanks and big hugs to the guys from the restaurant, who were always welcoming and nice, even if they had to work so hard from morning till night. 🤗
