I stayed at Makis Place for 6 nights with my boyfriend and I couldn’t recommend this place more! The room was beautiful with a stunning terrace overlooking the new port of Mykonos as well as the pool. The cleanliness everyday was impeccable and the whole staff was amazing! A special mention to the Reception Team Daniela and Anastasia who have always been extremely nice and helpful throughout the stay with precious recomendations on places to visit, restaurants, beach clubs etc. The free shuttle from/to the Airport was very convenient and the location (Tourlos) is great if you want to avoid the crowd of Mykonos Town but still reach the main Town in only 5-6 mins drive. If I had to come back to Mykonos in the future I would definetely choose to stay at Makis Place again ♥️ thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

Everything.All staff are extremely friendly and helpful.Hotel was so clean and location is so convenient and close by to everything.Family owned and run business makes it even more comfortable and reassuring you get the best stay.Molaraki restaurant has the best food by far in Mykonos for much less money than other places we ate at.Initially we thought the place was only about a year old but found out it’s been running for 35+ years says all about the maintenance of this place.Complimentary transport to and from departure/arrival place is a bonus especially coming here for the first time and additional cost you would have to pay if they didn’t offer this service.I would not stay anywhere else in Mykonos but at Makis place again.

Nothing to fault but beds were slightly harder to our preference.I’m saying that we still got good sleep.

Right next to the Sea bus/water taxi. Short walk over the hill to a sandy beach, bring a towel (provided by Makis) to sit on-- the beach chairs are over-priced. Breakfast was good, hit the spot to hold us over til we found our lunch. The local staff made suggestions for wgere to go for best seafood, desserts, drinks, intimate settings, and we had a blast and were delightfully surprised at every turn of our trip thanks to Makis and their great, friendly staff. I really can't say anything negative. The rooms were clean, just as expected, comfortable, with A/C and electric closing blinds to make and keep it dark in the room for a little extra shut eye. At times we heard our neighbors talking on their terrace, but it wasn't so disturbing. It was great after check - out we could use the pool area to relax and sip some Greek coffee while we waited for the shuttle to the airport. 10 out of 10 on all fronts! I highly recommend this stay!

Everyone and Everything above our expectations. Upon arrival, Makis staff carried our luggage, and the girl at front-desk is the most gentle person on the planet. Pleasantly surprised, the structure is much bigger than what the picture were showing. It’s been our first time on the island and, also on the map, we weren’t sure how far next restaurant/beach/town were: actually, Makis has its own Excellent restaurant, and next one is just 100 meters far! Public bus timetable isn’t clear but Makis printed it out for us: just 3 mins bus to the beach and 10 mins to town. Mykonos isn’t cheap, but Makis Quality left us with the desire to come back. And back to Makis, definitely! Thank You

The service at this hotel is second to none! We were landing late in Mykonos and just staying one night before moving to Paros. The hotel came and got us from the airport and took us to the port the next day all included in the price of the hotel. Upon our return to Mykonos we only had a couple of hours between arriving on the ferry and needing to go to the airport. I messaged the hotel and they agreed to come and get us from the port, we had dinner in their restaurant and then they took us to the airport. This was all arranged for a very reasonable price and was exceptional in terms of timing and service. I would highly recommend the hotel for this reason. We weren't in Mykonos long enough to explore, but we could see the sea ferry which went down to Mykonos town was just a few minutes walk, so this would be an easy way to get into town.

Everything. The pool and lounge chairs were great. The free breakfast was great. The location was perfect as it was right next to the port and you can take the €2 sea bus directly into Mykonos centre in 8 minutes. They provided free transfers to the ferry which was very helpful. The rooms were cleaned everyday, including mopping. The staff were so helpful and carried our bags. Great shower (sounds weird but it’s rare in Greece). Great air-conditioner. Comfy beds. Amazing value for money :)

Nothing! Don’t listen to the people complaining about the cruise horn, you can’t hear it in your room.

The room was spotless clean and nicely decorated. We had booked a small twin room which actually was not that small so I was pleasently surprised. The bathroom very large and functional, definitely the best one I have been around in any greek island stay. The breakfast was super with lot of vairiety both sweet (the cake was amazing and fresh) and savoury (very tasty scrambled eggs) and served in the nice terrace looking to the port. As for this, it is greatly located two minutes walk from the port, which was great to get the ferry to Paros. Also the frequent seabus just there at the port can get you to the town Chora in very short time. The pool is just great to relax, and enjoy the fresh air and the great view of the port. Makis Place is a great choice for staying in Mykonos.

Everything was perfect! Being greeted on arrival and transported from the airport by a lovely air conditioned mini-bus was just what we needed after the flight. The location to the New Port was perfect for us as we were travelling on to visit family in Paros. The staff were all so polite and friendly and couldn't do enough to help and advise us, they even gave us a lift down to the port which was only a short walk but in the heat, that was very much appreciated. The pool was excellent with a lovely view and the rooms were perfect for what we needed to. I like that they were all scattered around the property, not a boring looking hotel! We really would recommend this to anyone.

Fantastic location, 2 minutes from the Port. Complimentary shuttle from the airport to the hotel and then the next morning to the port. It was a seamless experience and a perfect place to stay with a ferry the next morning. On the way back from Paros a week later, we had 5 hours to kill before our flight, despite having stayed at the hotel a week earlier, they let me have a shower before my flight - now thats incredible service! The price was great, the service was perfect and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

For some reason room 16 had a really hot floor in one corner, not sure if it was a pool pump or water heater under the floor but it made the room really hot. So with the aircon on it was too cold and with the aircon off too hot.

Beautiful property located close to the Mykonos ferry terminal. Water buses and regular buses are available just outside the property to go to the main town Chora. The room was spacious, clean and the pepper has some great views from the pool deck. The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to help, including free pick up and drop off from the ferry terminal. Breakfast was included in the price and had a reasonable variety in the buffet . The restaurant is reasonably priced and food was very good.
