I only used the hotel as an arrival and pre departure base (island hopping)and despite that the hotel & staff are so helpful and professional. The free transport between the hotel and the port/airport during the day is brilliant. If the airport pick up is after 9pm there is a €20 charge which I was happy to pay. The food in the hotel resturant is very good too.

Just be aware that there are rooms in a block behind the hotel that to reach you do have to climb a few sets of stairs. If you are unfit like me it maybe a struggle, other than that its a great place.

Lovely room great balcony and view, just where I wanted to be near the port for an early-ish ferry. Room immaculate. Pool lovely and clean lots of loungers. Restaurant very nice and I had dinner there which was excellent and good value. Free transfer to the port which I appreciated so I didn’t have to drag my case to the ferry although it is only a 5m walk. Very nice staff. My new place to stay for the night when passing through Mykonos airport to get a ferry to Andros, but it would also be a nice quiet place to stay for a holiday. Opposite the sea taxi to mykonos town so very easy to get in and out of the main town if want to stay out of the fray but still be accessible.

I stayed at Makis Place for 6 nights with my boyfriend and I couldn’t recommend this place more! The room was beautiful with a stunning terrace overlooking the new port of Mykonos as well as the pool. The cleanliness everyday was impeccable and the whole staff was amazing! A special mention to the Reception Team Daniela and Anastasia who have always been extremely nice and helpful throughout the stay with precious recomendations on places to visit, restaurants, beach clubs etc. The free shuttle from/to the Airport was very convenient and the location (Tourlos) is great if you want to avoid the crowd of Mykonos Town but still reach the main Town in only 5-6 mins drive. If I had to come back to Mykonos in the future I would definetely choose to stay at Makis Place again ♥️ thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

This place is simply amazing. The driver who picked us up from the airport and brought us to the Port is an amazing guy, very gentle and professional. The reception also very professional people, and they showed us a lot of care and helped us with everything we asked, also the guy who helped us with luggage very nice people, everyone. We really appreciate and super recommend, great place in front of the sea bus to go to the centre of Mykonos, has a restaurant inside, nice swimming pool, they give you the towels to swimming as well. Great bed, has air conditioning, great shower and all suff they provided for showers, very good quality. Breakfast is also great, just recommend add iced or hot chocolate. The Iogurt just amazing and the women's that work during Breakfast also very very nice. Just great, go for it.

Nothing to complain

Smooth transfer and exceptional service from the driver. Gorgeous pool and poolside. Helpful staff. We only stayed one night on our way elsewhere but were able to use a “day service” to store our luggage/freshen up/order food and transfer to airport on way back. Great if you need to be near the old port and the sea bus/sea taxi is quick, cheap and easy way to get into the old town.

Small room for a family staying longer but absolutely fine for a night! Day service (on our return) didn’t include pool use unfortunately (could pay extra for this per person, however we didn’t feel was a reasonable amount overall for the brief time we were there)

V good base near the New Port away from the mad prices of Mykonos town. The restaurant is very good with reasonable (for Mykonos) prices. The free transfer from the airport was a nice touch. No doubt they would also give you a transfer to the New Port but it is near enough to walk. Weather wasn’t great so we didn’t use the pool this time but we know from previous occasions it is lovely.

We are not really fans of Mykonos (sorry!) - for us it is just a useful transport hub to get to nearby quieter, less pretentious islands like Ikaria, and especially Syros. But Maki’s Place is an oasis of serenity and sanity, but with an easy (and cheap - glory be!) sea bus connection to the centre of town.

Everything.All staff are extremely friendly and helpful.Hotel was so clean and location is so convenient and close by to everything.Family owned and run business makes it even more comfortable and reassuring you get the best stay.Molaraki restaurant has the best food by far in Mykonos for much less money than other places we ate at.Initially we thought the place was only about a year old but found out it’s been running for 35+ years says all about the maintenance of this place.Complimentary transport to and from departure/arrival place is a bonus especially coming here for the first time and additional cost you would have to pay if they didn’t offer this service.I would not stay anywhere else in Mykonos but at Makis place again.

Nothing to fault but beds were slightly harder to our preference.I’m saying that we still got good sleep.

Gorgeous, peaceful and upmarket hotel with port and city views, a fabulous restaurant and the biggest and most beautiful pool we encountered in 16 days of island-hopping. Plus free pick-up and drop-off at the port or airport. And you can take a little ferry into central Mykonos! Incredible value for money!

If anything, simply that there was no cooked breakfast, such as scrambled eggs, omelette or pancakes. But that didn’t affect our stay or opinion.

The sea-bus into Mykonos Town is right across the street and costs only about €2.50 Molaraki Restaurant serves a generous breakfast buffet and Mediterranean à la carte dishes with a view of the port. The leafy garden pool is surrounded by sun-loungers and palm trees, offering restful lounging and beautiful views. Towels are provided and the pool never felt overcrowded

Cleanliness and comfort: rooms are bright, well-planned, and equipped with all essentials

We chose this hotel for the position closed to the harbour since we had few time between airplane and ferry, and it was the right choice. Room with modern furniture, air cond and wifi, small but very pleasant pool, very useful shuttle service between hotel and airport or ferry. Very good breakfast, both sweet and savory.

Nothing that we didn't already know. We had a triple room not that large, but dimensions were available in the booking. Pricing is adequate to Mykonos in August, which is really expensive.
