Everything is brand new. View from our room was amazing. Staff were mostly responsive to our requests and gave a nice introduction before check-in.

We had bugs in our bed and so woke up with new itchy bites every morning. These went away after we left to our new hotel. Didn’t actually see the culprits until our last evening. We shared our concerns with staff including photos of the bugs but have yet to receive a response till this day. If you experience the same make sure to report it early as you may not see them until the last night like us! But in any case they might not do anything about it!! Definitely killed the “luxury experience” but absent this it was a very nice hotel. Location is a little awkward if you don’t have a car (not safe to walk into town). Taxis are about 20 euro to town one way which is relatively cheap compared to other islands.

This slice of paradise far exceeded any of my expectations. From the sunrise views, to the private pools, spacious living room, luxury bathroom, my friends and I had a splendid time at Bard De Sol. Breakfast is served till 12 so you don’t feel like you have to rush to eat at the crack of dawn in the morning. The staff are so lovely, offering support throughout the day and always with a smile. Refreshments provided in the fridge when you first arrive. Bathroom supplied the most gorgeous smelling products to use and bathrobes to relax in. Loved having room service availability and beach towels provided to use. Met the owner who was so friendly and offered as much support as needed as and when. Reception staff organised transfer when the plane delayed. Lovely stay!!! Can’t wait to book to come back. If you’re undecided whether to book here, this is your sign to book this place! You won’t be disappointed !!!!

Honestly nothing..

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location is ideal – quiet and peaceful, with beautiful views over the landscape, yet still less than a 10-minute drive from the Old Town, which made exploring very easy. Our room was exceptionally spacious and included a private kitchen, which added a lot of comfort and flexibility. A real highlight was having access to two pools, which made it easy to relax at any time of day without crowds or noise. Breakfast was of good quality, and everything was fresh and well presented. The staff were truly excellent – very friendly, helpful and personal in their approach. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests, which made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. That said, these are minor points in what was overall a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. We would definitely return and recommend it to others looking for a peaceful yet well-connected place to stay

A few small areas for improvement: the breakfast portions could be more generous. Guests can choose one dish, but for items like yoghurt, the portion is quite minimal. It would be great to either remove the single-choice limit or offer a small buffet alongside. Also, there’s no real dinner service on site – food can be ordered until 7:00 pm, but not beyond.

Everything was so perfect , have stayed there as a couple for 5 nights . I think it’s best to have a car as the hotel is uphill walking down is okay but then going back up I guess it’s a bit hard . Breakfast was perfect too with 5 choices of sweet dishes and 5 savoury once. Cleaning was done everyday and even the towels were changed literally every day . We had a nice view from the balcony . Simeon I think that’s his name he was very kind too. And there was another lady who was very kind as well. We had good laughs with the the guy that took our orders in the morning for breakfast . He tried his best all the time .

There is nothing that was not ok. Everything was very good. Just when we reserved we said it’s our 10th wedding anniversary I thought there might have been a little surprise but that’s okay. Also I asked if it’s possible to get another room so we could enjoy the sunset . someone told me that the room was taken where else guests only arrived there 2 days later but it’s all right that won’t make this stay bad. We defined would reserve again this place if we come back to Mykonos 😌

The staff are all incredibly friendly, kind and helpful. The room is beautifully modern and the bed wonderfully comfortable. Having our own car was a bonus when navigating trips into town.

We had expected the ‘Private Pool with Seaview’ to be private, in that we would not be noticing other people. But not the case, while the pool is your own and the view spectacular, it sits adjacent to the apt pool next door with no privacy screening. Both sides found it uncomfortable to relax, talk, swim. And also there were a lot of stairs to manoeuvre bags (difficult but not impossible).

Bard de sol staff were beautiful. The room opulent with a stunning view, we went with a junior suite with the hot tub. The hot tub was great. The included Breakfast was 10/10 and just as good as what you could get elsewhere. The gym was 10/10. The recommended hire company is a must, great prices and they drop off and pick up to the hotel, we went with an ATV and it was perfect for exploring the island at 45euro a day. The hotel is a short walk from a superb beach, supermarket and multiple restaurants. 20 minute steep walk from port

The shared pool was next to the restaurant area, so there wasn't any sun beds. The restaurant (other than breakfast) and bar is seasonal so isn't open when we went (early may). Hotel is on a hill so walking to the local beach and restaurants requires alot of walking up and down steep hills

This hotel is incredible. We had a room with a pool and in our view, we got the best room in the hotel. Gorgeous view, amazing sunset. Beautiful interiors and decor, the whole hotel smelt gorgeous! Breakfast is amazing, you can order coffee, juice and a plate off the a la carte menu, all included and it was so tasty. So handy having pool towels and the beanbags to lounge on round our pool. Luckily our room neighbours weren't in their pool or balcony at all so it felt very private.

There was nothing we didn't like, except leaving!

I had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful hotel, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it! From the moment I entered the room, I felt instantly welcomed. Everything was spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, and thoughtfully arranged. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the serene atmosphere ensured a restful night’s sleep. What truly stood out was the friendly and attentive service. Every request was promptly met, and it was clear that the well-being of guests is a top priority here. The thoughtful touches, such as the well-stocked amenities and the lovely view from the window, made my stay perfect. I look forward to returning – it truly felt like a home away from home!

nothing to complain about

We booked the Deluxe Double Room and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The room was so much bigger than expected, extremely clean & spacious with its own pool area and outdoor seating nook and lounge. This hotel is simply stunning with the most beautiful views from both the reception area and restaurant. The view at breakfast blew my mind! It is situated on the far west side of the island which can become expensive when taking daily transfers to the hot spots but this didn’t bother us.

We absolutely adored this boutique hotel, perfectly situated near all the attractions we wanted to explore in Mykonos. With our rental car, every destination we aimed for was just a 15-minute drive away. The staff was incredible, especially Georgia, who greeted us with a warm smile, offered fantastic recommendations, and genuinely cared for us. We truly appreciated her!

Breakfast is served in a beautifully decorated restaurant with an intimate ambiance, offering lovely views of the pool and sea, which we thoroughly enjoyed. However, the breakfast selection was somewhat limited, and a few of our requests were not fulfilled. Additionally, we were occasionally disturbed by a sewage smell emanating from the bathroom.
