The location is mid and close to the beach, and the rooms are generally clean. However, the overall experience did not match the photos shown online. The property and rooms look much more dated in reality, and some facilities appear worn out compared to the polished images on booking sites. Service was okay, but not exceptional. For the price and the expectations set by the photos, I left feeling disappointed. It’s fine if you just need a place to stay in Mykonos, but don’t expect it to look like the pictures.

Located pretty well, near the beach (7 mins walk distance), 20 mins distance to the city center by car, 15 mins by car to the airport. The staff was kind enough especially when we asked to change the room when we’ve complained about the fact we were next to another family (a locked door between the rooms). They’ve changed our room only after 3 days - that was the earliest possible change. We’ve appreciated their support and understanding. Breakfast was good enough. I was surprised tho’ they didn’t have fresh vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers etc). There were 90% same breakfast options every day. Parking spots available all the time.

Apart from the fact we had to change the room, the bathroom in the first room was a bit weird, way too small, having the shower head above the wc. The bathroom door was not really a door, but a glass one which didn’t secure the bathroom. And the water was persisting in the bathroom after taking a shower. A weird experience from this point of view.

I recently stayed at Penelope Village for the second year in row and had a fantastic experience. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, always ready with a smile and great local tips, especially Dimitri and Mohamed. They even let us use all the hotel facilities beacause our flight was delayed and upgraded our room for free at the beginning. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, offering a good variety each morning. Overall, I highly recommend Penelope Village to anyone visiting Mykonos. Looking forward to returning!

Everything was perfect

Everything was fantastic! Spacious room with an amazing view, delicious food, service. Hotel itself is beautiful and has a great pool and sitting areas. It is also located in the best part of the island, next to the quietest beach with a superb restaurant. Receptionist Dimitris was super helpful and bar manager Yiolathi looked after us the best possible way. She was truly amazing! We have been to Mykonos 5 times and this was the best time ever. I didn't know this place could be so laid back and relaxing. We will definitely come back to Penelope Village.

Nothing but there are few things worth mentioning; the place is on the hill so there are few steps to go through if your room is on top, also some rooms have a terrace instead of a balcony.

- Nice location, just few min downhil to the beach - very nice area, beautiful pool lounge and lobby with bar, plenty of options to sit and chill, flowers and palm plants everywhere, nice white accommodation - Our room had amazing sea view, balcony with chairs - clean - Nice staff, hard working - Very nice and huge breakfast buffet, tasty and smiling staff serving there - we were allowed to check-in very early, our room was ready already at noon - it was nice that guests were allowed to use the pool lounge already after check-in befire the room was ready or after check-out till the time to airport

Very tiny crossing place with fridge and clothes cabinet between the main bedroom, small bedroom and bathroom, there was a step in the same colour as the flor which was hard to notice, and we kicked the step every day, the first day my partner kicked it so badly that he slipped on the freshly moped bathroom floor! People kept jumping into the pool and nobody told them anything even it was prohibited. It would be good if there was a couple of glasses in the room, no matter of how many stars the hotel has, since people kept taking them from the bar anyway, and there were missing for the pool guests.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Penelope Village on the beautiful island of Mykonos, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. This hotel offers an incredible value for the quality and high level of service provided. A special shoutout to Dimitris, the front office manager, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. From helping me with taxi arrangements to renting a bike, and even assisting with my luggage, Dimitris was always there to solve any problems I had with a smile. I also want to express my gratitude to Nicol, the receptionist, whose positive energy and cheerful demeanor brightened my days throughout my stay. Her enthusiasm and genuine care for guests made a significant difference, and I am so glad these wonderful people are part of the Penelope Village team.

We loved our stay at Penelope Village and wished we stayed longer. It’s outside the main old town area so it’s quiet. It’s a 5min walk to a great beach but the best part is the pool and chilling areas around the pool. Breakfast is pretty good too.

Not specific to this hotel but Mykonos in general… the water from the taps isn’t drinkable so you have to purchase bottled water. It would be nice to have some filtered coolers around to fill our bottles. There aren’t any restaurants around (just the beach clubs and the hotel restaurant) which are very expensive- but we ordered food on Wolt which was cheap and good.

Penelope Village was way bigger than I expected. The views from my accommodation were breathtaking. I loved that I could walk to the beach if I wanted and the sitting areas around the pool were so well thought out and organized. I also really enjoyed the breakfast selections as it was a very important factor in my booking. I got a taste of Greece at the breakfast table and I loved it. The staff was amazing, kind and I felt save with them; Mohammed and Dimitris at the front desk were especially helpful.

My room was way smaller than I expected. I wish I was better prepared for the distance between the hotel and town. Maybe a recommendation to rent a means of transportion before arrival would have helped. However, I got all the assistance I needed to get that done after I arrived. The pool should also have an indicator for depth variation to help visitors better navigate it according to their swimming experience.

Beautiful and charming hotel. I have traveled alone to visit Mykonos in June, 2024 at the first time..and it was an amazing trip!! The hotel is perfect, well located, very quiet, comfortable, nice pool area, beautifull view to the beach and good breakfast included. The staff is so kind, attentive and professional, specially the manager Dimitris, the co-workers Valerie and Mike Chalikas, they were able to provide me an excellent stay. Definitely I will come back on my next vacation but with family now and will stay again at Penelope Village. :)

I just have one advice regarding the room.. some amenities I missed such as the coffee and tea which were not available inside the room for a hotel 4 stars category.., besides, straightly to the bathroom, I believe is needed a remodeling, however, in general the hotel is very nice.

The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times, every time with a smile on their face. The location is excellent, close to the Kalo Livadi Beach, and they have an amazing pool for you to spend the day there. Restaurants and stores are at a 10 min walking distance. The rooms were big and spacious, and the cleanliness was absolutely spotless. A great place to stay if you search for a quiet, laid-back area.
