One of the best experiences we’ve ever had! Everything was absolutely amazing — the location is stunning, with breathtaking sea views and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The apartments are beautiful, cozy, and spotless, with daily cleaning that kept everything perfect. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. It’s just 15 minutes from the center by car and a short walk to a lovely beach. Restaurant with a swimming pool also offers a gorgeous sea view. Staff were very helpful and kind, always ready to assist with anything we needed. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Mykonos!

The location is fantastic, along with the staff. The beach villa with private pool is really worth it. The terras has a splendid view and the breakfast is perfect as well. Do not hesitate to book this, it is really worth it. Alex also helped us with the excursions which also were very good.

The kitchen appliances for the kitchenette are not really sufficient if you want to cook yourself, however you don't need to since they have their own restaurant. Just some more basic material (kitchen towel, scissors, something more than one knife, ...) would be nice.

We loved Salty Houses First and most important is the warm hospitality and care. Sissy who is the owner and her entire staff were cheerful polite and caring. They were positive and responsive to all our wishes. The location is gorgeous, It's quiet and peaceful. 2 minutes walk to Kala livadi beach on the right, and 2 minutes to the left a small beach with natural shade. It's about 5 minutes drive from the nearest village where you can find restaurants and shops. The hotel restaurant is also beautiful with a swimming pool and scenic sea view. The one bedroom we were upgraded to, had perfect sea view, weather was good so we didn't have to use the air-condition in the bedroom. There was a comfortable duvet and slippers. And once we asked, plush towels were brought. The beautifully decorated verandah has sunbeds, table, chairs and even romantic lanters. Breakfast was very nicely served. Unfortunately I could only drink tea. The sweet and kind waiters got me lemon ginger and honey.

If they could have an agreement on free sunbeds on the beach near by, this place would be 11/10. But then it would be overbooked and impossible to afford :)

Our room 'Notus' offered breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and an outstanding breakfast every morning. The Salty Houses have a wonderful host, wonderful & engaging staff and an exceptional kitchen (from the mouthwatering food to the original cocktails)! We highly recommend you experience the Salty Houses for yourself, with or without family, if you are looking for very clean, stylish, full-service facilities located close to one of the best beaches on Mykonos (Kalo Livadi), and only a short drive from the old town. This hotel offers a peaceful retreat, with a home-away-from home feel, that will allow you to escape the stress of daily life.

An incredible view, a spectacular room where every window was picture perfect and the warmest most genuine welcome from Sissi. We had such a fabulous time and loved our Mykonos retreat with amazing private pool. On our first day we realised we hadn’t packed any toys for the beach, and Sissi went the following day to buy our daughters stuff for the beach, a very special host.

Breakfast was amazing, I can see it would be a good view and spot in peak season however we visited on the edge of low season so there was lots of building work going on near by which can't be helped by the hotel. Our suite was outstanding! The perfect privacy spot. Beautiful. Clean. The honeymoon suite is like having your own house rather than a hotel room. Would be great for a family too. Manager was lovely.

Seeing the building work going on across the bay, but again nothing the hotel could do. Couldn't fault the hotel themselves.

We were greeted by property Host “Sissy” who made our stay enjoyable. It was pleasant to meet nice people during our vacation, the entire staff was so accommodating. The views were just “expectacular” and the room was super clean with pleasant and refreshing ambient. The location was amazing, a quiet place to enjoy time with family and friends. The breakfast and lunch were just “amazing”, and the great and genuine service was the cherry on top of the ice cream.

It's a small property with a very personal approach. The staff was amazing, thoughtful and took great care of me. The view was great. There was a small kitchen with fridge, so I was able to get some grocery items. If you are looking for a quiet, intimate setting this is your place.

You will need a car to move around the island and taxis are costly.

Everything was just perfect: the location, 20 minutes driving away from the cahotic downtown, 5 minutes waking from the beautiful beach of Kalo Livadi e 5’ driving from Kalafati, the only free equipped beach in the island. Also the staff is extremely kind and thoughtful. The food just amazing and the rooms super clean and spacious with breathtaking views on the gulf and terraces to relax.

There is really nothing I could say to make this place improve.

Very comfortable, quiet, spacious room. Pool was a little small but had a gorgeous view and the restaurant had delicious food & drinks. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

It’s a bit secluded and requires taxi service to do anything, which means dealing with advance bookings, etc. (Mykonos is busy + takes a solid 20min for taxi to get to property/go anywhere). Not really a problem but dealing with the transport was not super relaxing (& quite pricey).
