The Ilion is amazing. We had a queen room on the second floor with a balcony overlooking Nafpaktos and the bay. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. The bathroom is a little tight ( as most are in Greece), but not a problem. The staff was really friendly and had a great breakfast. There is a place to grab a drink and sit outside. This place would easily be $400+ per night in the U.S.

Not a minus, but you will need to climb some steps and it is up the hill from the bay ( hence the fabulous views!). If you drive, the streets are narrow, but there are 3-4 parking spaces.

The experience was amazing! The hotel was uphill, right under the mountain. It had parking outside which was very helpful. The host was very humble, helpful, guided us through everything and suggested restaurants for us. The room was amazing, had lots of amenities and the view was one of the best we have ever seen in a hotel, we could see the sea and the town from above. Totally suggested for a stay and it was value for money!

I have been a guest there and knew what to expect. I like the proximity to the city centre and yet the seclusion of the property. I like that the rooms have a terrace and a sea-view. I like the breakfast selection. And the private parking.

There are 2 things to note. The parking space is cramped and sloped, good driving skills are required. There are many steep stairs to climb to the upper rooms, so better re-pack at the parking and only take minimal luggage to the room,

This is a very quaint, charming place. Very clean. The staff was great (thank you Alexia!). The breakfasts on the veranda were wonderful experiences. and the food was amazing. The view from our patio was idyllic. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable.

Be aware that the hotel is located up a steep, narrow street and once you get parked, you still need to carry bags up 3 flights of steps. The shower stall in our room was somewhat mickey-mouse and it was difficult to not flood the bathroom floor.

In a perfect location and a room with a view. Covered in green and bougainvilleas hanging over the balcony. It’s tucked up on a light height with cobbled street. Behind the Museum Botsari, about the battle of Nafpaktos. Very clean with all the facilities. Comfortable beds and quiet. In walking distance to the picturesque port with cafes and Tavernas.

The Ilion Hotel is a charming, quiet hotel up on the hill above Nafpaktos in a residential neighborhood. Our room was a bit smaller than expected, but it was comfortable, very clean and had extra pillows and blankets which we appreciated. There is a porch out front of the room with an expansive view overlooking the rooftops of town out to the Gulf of Corinth - at night we watched the lights of Patras sparkling on the opposite shore. Just beautiful! Staff was so kind and friendly, breakfast on the lovely patio out front was plentiful, with lots of choices and very delicious! The other bonus was that there is a small parking lot there for guests to use, rare to find at many small hotels! A great place to stay!

We liked it all! I will say, that if you have trouble with stairs, this would not be a good choice for you, as there are many.

The hotel is easy to find and the location is good - very close to the city centre and yet very calm, as it is uphill, tucked below the fortress walls. There is a free private parking, cramped, but ok to use. The beds are comfy, the bathroom is nice and the shower cabin doors close tightly, which is rare to find actually. The towels are of high quality, thick and soft, and really white. The bedlinen and pillows are good. Breakfast is very good, there are traditional Balkan dishes and products, fresh orange juice. The host is polite and efficient. Our room had a balcony with 2 chairs and a table, beautiful view to the strait below.

Nothing really worth mentioning. There are a few petite eye-sores, some details in the furniture and not well thought-of and some are not safe for hospitality use, but nothing major. I think the room was a little overpriced, but not much.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. The town of Nafpaktos is amazingly pretty and this hotel blends right in. Despite the antique appearance, the rooms are modern and very comfortable. Our room had a charming balcony - we enjoyed sitting there in the evening watching the sunset over the gulf of Corinth. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with many local specialities.

A small classic hotel very nicely decorated in a cozy style with real wood furniture, carpets, monogrammed linens, great amenities, excellent breakfast, & good WiFi. My room had a sofa, mini-fridge, kettle & supplies, bathrobe, toiletries, & closet. The view is magnificent! I loved sitting on my balcony watching the sunset and sunrise over Nafpaktos, the Gulf of Corinth, and mountains of the Peloponnese in the distance. Free private parking just below the hotel is a plus. It's just a short walk to the harbor, restaurants, and shops. This was my second visit. Next trip I'll stay longer.

Be aware that there are many steps up to the rooms. I think it's worth those steps for the views.

Very clean room with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view from the balcony. Good breakfast provided too (we had to leave early as we had to get back to Athens for our flight home and an early breakfast was arranged, which was much appreciated).
