This hotel was our favorite of our stay in the Cycladic islands (Mykonos, Paros, Santorini). The location is great, with sea views all around and a cute little chapel on site, the hotel itself is very pretty with its Cycladic architecture, it is very nice to be able to go from the hotel’s pools to the Golden beach in less than 2 minutes, the rooms are comfortable and large, breakfast is excellent, the restaurant is absolutely top notch … and the staff (as often in Greece) couldn’t be nice or more helpful. Warmly recommend !! PS : even the hotel cats have names and are obviously cared for …

Nothing was amiss. I do recommend renting a car however as the hotel is on one of the island’s nicest beaches but rather far from Parikia, Naoussa or other spots. Renting a car is much cheaper than using cabs and allows you to fully enjoy your stay in Paros.

Gorgeous hotel, perfect beach location, easy to get everywhere on Paros. Extremely professional and helpfulstaff who knew all the guests (including food allergies!) everywhere we went. We loved the breakfast - the food, coffees and views are impeccable! If you are a family traveling together a suite is worth spending a bit more - our patio spaces were gorgeous!

Windy all the time means doors will slam if you have the windows open... maybe add some weights, doorstops or just use your shoes like I did. We loved all the cats but just know they are everywhere!

This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Absolutely beautiful grounds, very spacious room and bathroom with a balcony and gorgeous sea view. Loved the location right on Chrissi Akti beach (which is a brilliant beach for swimming and laying on), and with 2 pools and tons of sun loungers by the pool and on the grounds overlooking the ocean, there was plenty of choice of somewhere to lay in the sun even when it got super windy. Make sure you go to Stella’s taverna, only a few minutes walk from the hotel - amazing home cooked Greek food. The staff were incredible - so friendly and kind and helpful. They helped us rent a car which was dropped off to the hotel (and they don’t charge any extra commission for this). Massages were wonderful, we had 2 during our stay. The breakfast was great - lots of vegetarian and vegan options. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough, it was incredible and we were sad to leave. We would definitely come back!

The beds were a bit too firm for us, but that is normal for Greek hotels. Other than that, I don’t have one bad thing to say about Poseidon. It was amazing!!

The Poseidon hotel is a little gem of a place. Right next to Golden Beach (which for me, is the nicest beach on Paros), the hotel was a little haven of peace and quiet (save for the herd of elephants who were in the room above us - see below for more on this - note that this was not the hotel's fault!). Two pools, a stunning restaurant, a pontoon to leap off into the sea - and all the necessary sun loungers and amenities - it really was a lovely place to stay. Breakfast was delicious (included for us) and we had dinner one evening on the terrace with a stunning sunset over the hills. Note - you need a hire car to stay here and to use it to explore the island, as this hotel is on the other side of the island from Naoussa (a must visit) and Parikia, and still a way away from Lefkes (also worth a visit). Piso Livadi is a gem with amazing restaurants. Drios also has a very smart new restaurant. You can even take the car ferry to antiparos! The staff were fantastic - so helpful with suggested restaurants and beaches and towns to visit. The hotel is undergoing further development so will only get better.

If you have one of the downstairs rooms, make sure you find out if there is a large group staying in the suites above . We had a large family group staying above us and they stomped about like elephants from 10.30 pm till after midnight and started again at 6.30 am. The staff were helpful - asked them to be quieter which sort of worked, but not really - (the staff could not move us to a new room as the place was fully booked).

Breakfast poor for 5 stars and the pool very simple , no entertainment, not very welcoming this can be improved, nothing for kids. No late checkout policy, I received 1 additional hour after I complained...even the check in policy is from 3pm. I wanted a massage the therapist refused because I am 4 months pregnant..but I asked to have it for my husband and none called us back...and they have a Spa .

Beautiful hotel with great services, a lot of breakfast options (even for somebody with food intolerances), beautiful spacious and clean room and a comfy bed.

Unfortunately there was some bad weather the first day of our stay which polluted the pool and it took multiple days to clean this up. This made the pool unavailable to use during the days we stayed there. Luckily the beach is close by (however our daughter really prefers the pool)

I cannot say enough great things about Poseidon of Paros. The staff incredibly kind and helped us with food, adventure suggestions, transportation, cleaning, etc. I genuinely thing it's one of the most beautiful places on Earth - a gorgeous hotel, beautiful pool, and lovely greenery on a small peninsula right next to Golden Beach, giving you the perfect beach to enjoy and sunrise/sunset views. We deeply hope someday to come again, Lord willing!

There was a significant number of ants on our patio and around the property. Occasionally, they would come in through gaps in the back door and would be in the room. We had to be very careful to not leave food anywhere.

Hotel staff were all outstanding and happy to help in any way. Food and beverage manager + employees couldn’t have been better and really seem to have mastered the art of hospitality. Resident cats at the property are all happy, healthy, fed daily, given vet care, and well taken care of by the hotel which is comforting knowing the employees/owner are compassionate towards the animals as well.

The staff was amazing. Pericles at check in acted as our personal concierge. He is so kind, and makes you feel like you are the Queen of Greece. Andres (luggage guy) and the two Giorgos by the beach are so attentive. The breakfast staff is helpful and so pleasant. Now let’s talk about the facility: beach access (check), beautiful pool (check). Spa and workout (check, check). Most importantly…stunning views. You need a car to stay here unless you want to just stay here -which you can. Please don’t go…lol…I want to make sure The Poseidon stays a hidden secret.

That you have to pay extra for the beach beds. That the spa doesn’t do massages after 6pm. We are in Grèce, I would have liked to be able to book a massage between 6 and 8pm. Also for breakfast, the possibility to do your own muesli.
