The hotel foyer, restaurant, bar, terrace and pool are all an excellent standard. The breakfast is one of the best I have had in many years of traveling - something to suit everyone and lots of it. I would like to mention that the staff in the restaurant are very professional, friendly and helpful. We paid 18E each for the buffet dinner on both stays here and it really is great value for money and convenient after a busy day. You would pay more for dinner downtown and not have the luxury of going back for seconds. Reception staff are very welcoming and friendly.

There are no mattress protectors. The bath in 309 has rust around the tapware and I found a large cockroach leg on the bathroom floor thinking it was a piece of silk ribbon - yuck. The bath is also very stained - big turn off. Room 207 (on our first stay) had two wine glasses - nothing on our second stay. Cannot make a cup of tea or coffee in your room - that is always appreciated and we carry teabags, sugar and milk for that purpose. Carpets in hallways need steam cleaning.

The breakfast buffet is rich with a lot to choose from, but it becomes a bit monotonous after a while. For a couple of nights we had a dinner buffet as well (also advertised in the lobby) which was great, but again very monotonous, the dishes were almost the same every night. A couple of evenings there were not enough guests so we were served full course meals instead. They were okay, but if we knew in advance there would be no buffet, we would have probably chosen to eat in a restaurant outside of the hotel instead. The staff is nice and helpful. The view from the pool and the outside restaurant area is really nice - beautiful sunsets every day. There was always a cat present at breakfast and dinner, so be nice and share some food :) The towels were replaced every day, but our balcony was never once cleaned during a week long stay.

There's nowhere to hang your towels or swimming suits on the balcony.

Breakfast is not very diverse. I had to eat eggs with bacon for 7 days, because there was no other options for gluten intolerant and lactose free person. Pool was great with free towels. You have to ask them at reception.

The hotel doesn't have a beach and you have to drive for 3 km to the nearest beach. The carpet on the halls was dirty.

The pool was exceptional and had a lifeguard on duty, great for doing lengths and nice and deep at one end. Views and location outstanding. Lovely building and very grand. The staff were all very warm and friendly. The room was clean and fresh and well decorated. It was nice to dine outside and watch the sunsetting. We couldn't fault anything.

It's very hard to criticise anything really, it was that good! We would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room and tea/coffee with the evening meal. The food was all lovely but a little more variety, after a few days we struggled to pick new things.

We stayed just a night before leaving Greece from Airport Aktio. We had a comfortable room with a very nice view and could rest really good before leaving next morning. The air conditioning worked very well and was easy to regulate (not too cold, not too strong - just right). the other facilities we did not use, so I can't say anything about them, but the hotel gave us a very good impression.

Nothing to complain.

Comfortable rooms & comfortable beds. Good shower pressure & hot water. Lovely pool area with big clean pool, sunbeds & umbrella and a bar. Breakfast was pretty good too. All the staff were extremely friendly & welcoming.

The hotel is a bit older style & definitely in need of a bit of an upgrade but all in all we had a good stay!

Very pleasant interiors with stylish furniture. Room overlooked causeway and water where we saw jumping fish! 20 minutes walking to bus station and 40 minutes walking to a busy but pleasant town. Staff very polite. Spacious pool area.Food very good.

No problems except taxi very expensive from Pareza airport to hotel which is only 7 km and 25 euros! Bus service runs 4 times a day from airport to Preveza Town so if you arrive in the evening you have no alternative but to use a taxi.

It's a good old traditional hotel and as such - way more spacious then the modern ones. Big room, massive communal spaces, great swimming pool. Personally - we loved the location 5 minutes out of Preveza Town, so quite and pleasant.

We stayed twice: the 1st time - we had a frot pool view room which was lovely. 2nd time we had a room facing the side, not much of a view, service entrance to hotel, less breeze... less impressive

Excellent place to relax after a sailing week . Friendly staff . Large pool. Clean rooms although a little dated . The location was fine for us as we’d already stayed 4 nights in the old town but it’s a bit out on a limb otherwise . Beautiful views though from rooms overlooking sea .

Food was average . Not very exciting buffets at evening fot adequate for a short stay .

I have traveled to many places in Greece and never met such friendly, service-minded staff! Our stay was over our expectations and we enjoyed everything at the hotel and the surroundings.

The pillow was a bit too high but you replaced it with a soft pillow in no time.
