King Maron is an elegant and peaceful retreat where every detail is designed for comfort and enjoyment. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and tastefully decorated, with large beds, comfortable mattresses and pillows that guarantee a restful sleep. The views over the pool and sea are wonderful, even if they say it's just partial sea view in the description of the room. Housekeeping is impeccable – towels are changed daily, and everything is kept sparkling clean. The pool area is relaxing and features a bar serving all kinds of drinks and ice cream – perfect for a lazy afternoon in the sun. You can even order anything from the hotel restaurant directly from the beach, which makes you feel truly pampered. There is WiFi signal even on the beach. The beach has pebbles, but as you walk further into the sea, you’ll find soft sand and a gentle entrance into the water. For the adventurous, walking barefoot offers a free natural foot massage. For everyone else, a pair of water shoes is the perfect alternative solution. The sea is wonderfully clear and warm, with ideal temperatures for swimming and relaxing. The spa area and the gym are well equipped and add to the overall comfort and experience, whether you’re looking to relax or stay active during your vacation. One of the culinary highlights, for us anyway, was the fabulous fish soup, full of rich, fresh flavor. But regardless of what you order, the dishes are amazingly tasty and freshly made. Breakfast was extremely varied and delicious, plentiful and, afterwards, you could select also from many types of pastries and a generous selection of seasonal fresh fruits. Never in our many travels did we find such a rich selection for breakfast. We were also lucky to catch a traditional Greek music evening, which added an authentic and joyful touch to our stay. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, always making us feel welcome and taken care of.

The beach is pebbly, as I mentioned, so water shoes are recommended – but once you’re in, the sandy seabed and crystal-clear water make it all worth it. And not to mention the variety of colorful stones, from which you can make a selection and take home as a souvenir.

Wonderful location - high above the coast with a wonderful view of the sea and Samotraki island. A very cute two-story building with large, nice terraces. A very good air conditioning system with the possibility of individual adjustment. Quality furnishings - comfortable beds, bed linen, towels. Bathrobes and towels available for the beach and pool. Own beach with umbrellas and sunbeds - stony, but this is typical for Greece. Rich and tasty breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised to have quality espresso coffee. We are extremely pleased. An excellent hotel, not only for the quality of the facilities (super clean, quiet, great views and everything is delicious) but also for its pleasant and attentive staff. Special thanks to the lovely manager Lia, who is a fantastic professional always ensuring that your stay is a wonderful experience. It was very important to us how well they treated our little dog; they even took the care to clean the room when she wasn’t alone there for not to scare her. Without any doubt, a place where you feel like family and to which we will return for sure as soon as possible.

The staff were extremly kind. The food was really good. The dinners were good too. Great view. There are two beaches nearby that you can play with the kids. If you travel from Sofia - we managed to get there in under 4 hours by car.

It is far from every store - you have to buy things beforehand. The nearest shop (we found) was 40 minutes away with a car.

Everything was more than perfect. The hotel is very luxury and has a perfect location by the sea. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The swimming pool is just marvelous. The water is crystal clear. The hotel has its private pebble beach with free sunbeds, umbrellas and towels. The water is warm and crystal clear. The restaurant has a fantastic sea view and the food is super delicious and gourmet . The chef absolutely deserves the highest praise and compliments. The hotel manager is the kindest person we have ever met. He is always ready to help you in any way possible. All the staff is very polite and always smiling. The spa area is also fantastic. You can enjoy the sauna, herbal sauna, steam bath, salt room and jacuzzi for free. King Maron Hotel is the best hotel you can choose for your family vacation. We will definitely come back soon.

Breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. The restaurant overall was excellent: big portions, fair prices, and everything we tried was delicious. I honestly wouldn’t hesitate to recommend any dish from the menu. The staff, including the manager, were incredibly polite and professional, making us feel truly at home throughout our stay.

The hotel is located on a cliff, which makes the view amazing, but getting to the beach can be a bit tricky—especially with a baby. The beach itself is clean and pleasant, though it’s made up of small rocks rather than sand.

It was a great experience. Manager Panos and Chef Yorgos were very kind. And all the other staff was very helpful. The breakfast was also very delicious and rich in variety. The chef truly has a special talent – his dishes were some of the most flavorful meals I have ever had in Greece. Every bite reflected his passion and skill. The room was also cleaned every single day, which made our stay even more comfortable. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting, despite these small downsides.

The prices of the fish were quite high. When we asked the chef about this, he kindly explained that the suppliers sell them at high prices. Also, the hotel is located far from the city centers, and the roads to get there are not very easy.

Our stay at King Maron Hotel from 3 to 9 august 2025 was unforgettable, thanks to the wonderful team working there. A very special thank you to the amazing Head Chef, Mr. George Chrysannidis, whose food was not only of the highest quality but also full of flavor and love. What truly touched us was his kindness and personal attention — at every meal, he came to greet guests, ask how they were enjoying the food, and make sure everything was just right. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The beach and the pool are simply amazing—clean, beautiful, and so relaxing. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from every morning. We also dined at the restaurant several times, and every meal was perfect—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. One of the most special moments of our stay was when the staff surprised us with a cake for my husband’s birthday. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and we’re truly grateful for how they went above and beyond to make the day extra special. We highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful 3-night mini holiday at King Maron Hotel & Spa in Maroneia, Greece. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed — a special thanks to the receptionist Ioannis for his kindness, and to the manager who greeted us personally and was always present, making sure everything ran smoothly and that every guest felt cared for. The hotel itself was fantastic. Our room was spotlessly clean, fully equipped, with a very comfortable bed and a lovely balcony with chairs and a table — perfect for relaxing. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a great variety to choose from. We really appreciated the spa, the outdoor pool, the full bar inside, and the pool bar for refreshing drinks. The private beach with loungers was a dream, peaceful and well-kept. And we can’t forget the chef — every meal was a delight, beautifully prepared with attention to detail that didn’t go unnoticed. A truly relaxing and memorable stay — highly recommended!
