I had a pleasant experience at this hotel located near the main road. Its location is very convenient, especially for those traveling by car, as the hotel offers parking spaces. The rooms were quite large and clean. Although we did not have the opportunity to meet the host in person, as we arrived late, we greatly appreciated that they contacted us in advance to provide details on how to check-in. This gesture was very helpful and demonstrated care and attention towards the guests. In conclusion, I recommend this hotel for its convenient location, cleanliness, spacious rooms, and attentive services offered by the host.

We stayed only one night, arrived late, and left early. In our case, there was nothing to complain about.

We booked the hotel for 2 nights, and booked the night before afterwards. They were careful enough to give us the same rooms so that we didn’t have to move. I booked one large and a normal room and again they were nice enough to upgrade the normal room with the larger one. The receptionist was the best, she helped us on everything we asked for and went beyond so that the experience has exceeded our expectations. Wifi was working perfectly in the room. The neighborhood is quiet. The is a parking space. We had no problem during our 3 nights stay in total.

They are planning to modernize the design but the room was clean, spacious and comfortable which was enough for us.

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. First of all, detailed information was given about self check-in right after the reservation. Since self check-in was explained with photos and in detail, we had no difficulty. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We stayed with our family last year and they helped us very quickly with issues such as a kettle and iron. The hotel is very close to the centre of Alexandroupoli, and you can also drive to Makri in a few minutes. Thank you very much for everything.

The location could be a little noisy because of all the animals that are being raised nearby. Maybe this should have been mentioned in the description. Although it's also down to the preferences of the guests if they will keep the balcony closed and use the AC or leave it open.

Hotel Filoxenia is in a very quiet location a bit outside Alexandroupoli very near to the sea and shops. It is exceptionally clean and the staff is very helpful. It is excellent value for money. I have stayed with my family a few times and it is always a pleasure to see that they do not make discounts on their quality service. The internet connection is awesome.

There was not sth I did not like, only perhaps the main room needs a bit more light.

This accomodation exceeded our expectations. Our room was spacious, the bed and the mattrasse were very comfortable! The place was clean, towels, slippers and bathroom amenities had been prepared for us. The fridge was good and silent, we did not use anything else in the kitchen. Also, there is a nice balcony to enjoy. Our contact person, Stavros, was very helpful. Easy check-in and check-out. Parking is right in front of the unit.

The rooms are either not soundproof or the other guests were extremely loud, banging doors at night for an extended period of time. Since the Front Desk was already closed, there was no one to instruct them to keep it down. Other than that, all good.

We enjoyed it very much. The hotel is in a perfect location and very close to the beach and center of the city. It was a family-owned hotel. Many thanks to Stavros, owner of the hotel. He was accommodating and very kind. Many thanks to him and his mother. His mother was very nice to us. We will return to his hotel.

The apartment is big with terrace. There is a good beach near by. The stuff was very nice.

Near 6:30 in the morning two very loud Turkish lady's wake up us. They talked and laughed a lot and it's felt like they were in our room. The door on terrace was closed. So, the noise from the other rooms is a bit too much.

Clean bed and bathroom, very spacious room, balcony, the variety of comfort of the pillows, the extra helpful and wonderful staff made the stay very relaxing.

To find something to critique; the only thing I can say is that I could hear the neighbor’s talking from the bathroom window.

We stayed here for one night only as a layover of a road trip. The room served this purpose. It was spacious enough, very clean, checking in and out was a breeze.

It is good value for its price, but do not expect anything fancy or very comfortable.
