I recently had the pleasure of spending 8 wonderful days with my family at Hotel Alexander in Alexandroupoli, and I can confidently say that it was a fantastic experience overall. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by an incredibly polite and friendly staff who were always willing to assist with anything we needed. Their genuine hospitality really made us feel at home and added a special touch to our stay. The apartment we stayed in was both spacious and comfortable. It provided plenty of room for our family to relax and unwind. All in all, our time at Hotel Alexander was memorable, and we truly appreciated the excellent service and comfort it provided.

The room should have been cleaned more frequently

We had an amazing time, and everything was really great: location, staff, facilities, attitude, food, service.... All the little gestures and details (such as small farewell gifts for our kid) really made a nice impression. The room was cleaned and tidied up every day. We were often asked if everything was good or if anything else was needed. We are truly happy with our stay and will recommend the hotel to everyone!!!

Lighting in the room was a bit dull and gloomy. If you normally like a lot of light in the area you are in, probably it would bother you.

Very friendly and professional staff, clean rooms, large variety of food for breakfast, good location, large parking lot, AC2 charging station.

The hotel was delightful, and we had overall pleasant experience. It is quiet and you can rrst in piece. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is near the sea but does not have a private beach. It is a free zone, and anyone can go there. We had breakfast and dinner, and there were traditional Greek dishes on every meal. There was a lot of food to choose from. The pools are also good. The staff was nice. At checkout, we received little gifts, which was also a nice touch.

It is always a pleasure to stay here for us since when we come to Alexandroupolis we usually stay at this hotel, even if we don’t stay we came here to use their spa facilities. Rooms are beautiful, especially the ones located on the main building. Breakfast is so nice, we always stay including breakfast, buffet is with a lot of selections.

Before our arrival day, we contacted with Spa to make an appointment for massage and we requested to have an appointment without one lady (I don’t want to provide the name, property knows) then they accepted and made us an appointment. When we checked in, we went to Spa to our appointment and we saw the same lady therapist which we didn’t want and there was no other selection, so we cancelled. Later on, we had a call from front office regarding the issue, they tried to assist us but we didn’t want. So anyway, I want to thank to front office team for their efforts regarding the issue.

The breakfast was great with many options. The staff was always around in the hotel and polite. Room was spacious and comfortable enough.

Unfortunately although the hotel provides free parking, late night is extremely hard and one night was impossible to find parking spot due to many customers from the casino located next to the hotel! This was unacceptable and I hope they separate the hotel parking spots from the casino soon…. The room had really poor lighting and at night it was hard even to find my stuff from my luggage… You can really see that this hotel was indeed 5 star in the old good days but most of facilities (doors, furniture etc) stayed back in that time…

Breakfast - especially turkish tea. Breakfast had everything in it and very tasty, my number 1 reason to choose here. The rooms were renovated and everything to make it 5 stars, the bathroom kits are of a very good brand and I did not have to bring anything with me, bathrobes, slippers, shampoo etc….all in good quality brands. The furniture was modern and very convenient. They gave complimentary wine and fruits . I appreciated a lot them providing complimentary bottles of water to the rooms, perfect. My parents who have+ 85 years had accessible rooms and they were extremely comfortable

Some loud guests making noise on corridors but this is not hotels fault at all. The gym is located inside the spa so could not use it at proper hours only when spa is open and that was the time I was on sightseeing. Also the hotel does not have easy access to the beach so during summer I will hate to go somewhere else for this reason

a decent room with jacuzzi. liked the hotel overall. breakfast has a lot of options but I am not satisfied with the food quality. there is a casino next door if you are interested. Too many Turkish guests, felt like I am im Turkey. This is not about the hotel but wanted to write to talk about the atmosphere. Will definitely stay again.

There is only one problem. As I have witnessed people come here with their kids and they are too loud. Parents are not well educated to warn their kids about that. That is very redneck. This is not the hotels problem anyways. Other than that everything is great.

The hotel was packed but they made an effort to provide an early check in. Breakfast was good, the room was ok.

Beds could have been more comfy, staff could have been more smiling. If I was here for swimming, I wouldnt like pool or beach. But it was winter anyway.

Everything was superlative, starting with booking and the excellent communication with the hotel staff and continuing with check-in. Spacious rooms, the equipment in the room is very good, the breakfast has an impressive variety, all the staff, from front desk to room service, house keeping, restaurant is professional and ready to solve any issue you can encounter. English isn't an issue all around the hotel and I heard them also in turkish and german. A hotel where we will return anytime with great pleasure.

It'll be great to add another charging station as only one can be challenging if there are 2 guests with plug-in vehicles.
