I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel twice in June 2025 with my family and friends. During our first visit, we encountered a few issues, but Mr. Panagiotis, the Rooms Division Manager, personally assured us that our next stay would be exceptional—and he absolutely delivered on that promise. Our second stay turned out to be one of the most memorable holidays we’ve ever had. Mr. Panagiotis generously upgraded our rooms, and from the moment we arrived, the entire team welcomed us and our friends with warmth and outstanding hospitality. A special thank you to Mr. Ali, who took excellent care of us each morning at breakfast. We are truly grateful for the experience and will definitely return. Thank you all!

Please do not reply me with an Automatic message like copy and paste,(I spend time to comment)I am talking about Astir Palace with bungalow.everything from tip to toe was fine, the room was as clean as the sky.The room with bungalow was great.The breakfast was with full open buffet.The sedaside with Umbrella and sunbeds we're great.The location to the city centre with just maybe 500 steps away which is pretty good.The staff was always but always helpful,they do their very best to help you. Any staff at the reception or the waiters and waitresses and the housekeepers are doing their best.There is a huge parking area for the car that you ll never have problems.In a nutshell,we had fun.The wifi connection is quite good.I advise Astir Palace for an enjoyable stay.

The check out time should really be organized,You leave the room at 11:00 and the new quests check in at 15:00,check out should be at 12:00 and check in should be at 14:00.

We had a wonderful stay at Grecotel Astir Palace. The location is excellent, just by the beach and also close to the city center, which made it very convenient. The staff were all very friendly, attentive, and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere from the start. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed. Breakfast was rich and delicious, with plenty of variety each morning. The beach was beautiful and well-kept, and the pools were relaxing and a great place to spend time during the day. Overall, everything was perfect, and we would definitely come back again

Nice location, the rooms with the swimming pool are amazing, the view is great. Great place for families , very nice breakfast choices.

They need to fix the drain, water was coming out of the shower into the room. The couch was a little messed up, need to change it. If you get the swimming pool rooms, you should know you are very very close to your neighbors, it will be like living together:)

The staff is kind and friendly. Hotel was clean. We stayed in executive suit 603. The room was with seaview and had a private pool in front. Especially during night it is pleasant to sit by the private pool. The open buffet breakfast was sufficient. The hotel has a long beach with an easy access and the sea is nice. They have free parking place for your car. It is around 600-700 meters to the tavernas and coastal walking road. You don't have to take your car. The hotel is settled in a huge area. One side of the hotel fronts to the sea and the other side to the pine trees. They have kettle, free water, coffee and tea in the room.

We were three in the room. There was big double bed and for the third one they prepared a sofa bed which was uncomfortable. The old jacuzzi basin needs to be renewed with a modern shower bath.

Spacious room providing both comfort and privacy for a family of 3. The breakfast was superb with a delicious open buffet. The beach is nice and closeby.

The pools looked not very clean. Noone from the group dared to swim in neither of them. To our surprise, they had a filthy looking color with dirt, leaves and branches from the trees floating on the surface. Also the delicious open buffet area was swarming with flies.

Close to sea (beachfront), breakfast buffet opens early at 07:00 till 10:30, comfortable and functional rooms having enough size, silent, clean sea and sea is sandy, good for families having kid, close to Alexandroupoli town by walk. Safe parking area for car. Good alternative for holiday, people living in Istanbul and Marmara region

It was a very peaceful and beautiful stay. All the staff are very welcoming and attentive. 5 stars for that! The view from the room was superb. You can see the sea perfecty. The water was divine! You can hear the beach while falling asleep,major plus. Very quiet location whitch i appreciated.

Food should be more varied, healthy, and affordable in price, aligned with the taverns in the city,to attract those staying at the hotel. Also the cleaning service should be improved a bit. And the bathroom finishes sould be updated. At the seashore there are some stones that should somehow be solved to be able to enter the water more easily.

Very nice hotel, a bit dated and not 5 star. I am finding in this region the misleading use of Suite to discribe a executive queen room it's annoying. Rooms with private pool overlooking beach a plus. Room rate and F&B prices high but to be expected in Summer season.

Upon arrival, we got a very friendly reception, early check-in with no hesitation, and an incredible room upgrade to one of the modules with private pool. The place was awesome, and the crew were fantastic. The room was well equipped and the whole place is just majestically beautiful, with a view of the beach from our room, and a pool around every corner. The breakfast menu was perfect too, with a very large variety of food and drinks, and personnel ready to help all the time.

The only thing I didn't like was that I had to back home when the stay was over.
