Staff were great. Eleni was fantastic, always a smiling friendly face when we went to the bar and great with kids (we had a toddler with us). Everyone was really welcoming. Room was cleaned every day. So convenient to have the pool bar until 11pm and lovely having breakfast there every day with the swallows dancing around. The pool was really nice and clean and has a smaller shallower pool for kids. Rooms were spacious with a front and back balcony to adjust for the time of day, space to hang wet clothes. Kitchen had everything we needed. It was very peaceful with a nice garden. There is parking for cars or the main bus route Skiathos to Koukounaries is only a 2 min walk away. There are bars, restaurants and a supermarket in the village and the beach is also a short walk away.

Lovely setting, great pool, great eating area, nice size of place, and we had the family apartment which was a great size for 5 of us ( 2 adults 3 teens) with 2 bathrooms which was great!. 2 minute walk to bus stop and 5 mins walk to beach. Plenty of nice restaurants within a few minutes walk and easy walking distance for walks up into the woods/ country roads

The 2 girls running the place work so hard. It was lovely and peaceful, But near to all the tavernas. If I went back to skiathos I would return here.

The mattress but that's personal choice just to hard and the pillow has seen better days.

Just back from a lovely and relaxing week at Pension Strawberry. We had 2 triple rooms facing the pool. 8 or so rooms are facing the pool and the rest are facing the courtyard. The rooms are basic but spotless and are cleaned everyday and linen changed every 3 days. The grounds are lovely with lots of fruit trees. Our children used the pool everyday and it was a nice area to relax and read a book/ have a drink or snack. Breakfast was continental and plentiful. I had Greek yoghurt and honey, feta, olives tomatoes, cucumber and bread. The children had cereal, juice, bread and chocolate spread! There are 3 tavernas at the gates to Strawberry and several more at the end of the road. You are spoilt for choice. Nearest beach is lovely and to the right are good rocks for snorkeling and in the afternoon there is natural shade from the trees. There is also a small lake at the back of the beach where we saw terrapins. Strawberry is a lovely 2 star accommodation and we will definitely return for the price we paid.

Perhaps some English breakfast teabags, but I know it’s not popular on the continent so I always bring my own!

Amazing place to relax with friends or family. Very quiet and so close to the beach, bus stop, tavernas and supermarket! the hosts were super polite and took care of everything, incl. arranging taxi to the airport for super early flight. the complex is well maintained with palm and lemon trees, magnolias, grapes. Perfect relax area round the pool and delicious healthy breakfast. The rooms are clean and equipped with air conditioning, kitchen and even cute balcony. Rather low price for such great experience.

The hotel is in a very convenient location when you rent a car, but you may need to find a proper turn to the side road when you ride to the hotel from the airport for the first time (there is no sign with the hotel name on the main street). When you drive from the airport, the turn is on the right, straight after the bus stop, before the supermarket. The parking place is available in the territory, and there is always free space. The personnel is very friendly and ready to help. The room was equipped with air conditioning and a fridge. There are many places to have dinner nearby. Kolios Beach (a 5-minute walk from the hotel) is OK, but if you have a car, the better option is to drive about a 20-minute towards the lake - Koukounaries Beach. This one is much more convenient for a family with kids.

There are no issues, considering the value for money. Be careful with the tap water - it is not suitable for drinking on the Island; however, bottled water is available in every store and relatively cheap.

The room was small but very cosy, everything is renovated. Bed was big enough for us two. There are mosquito nets on all the room windows and the room also has own aircon. What we really appreciated, was a little seating area in front of the room and especially little drying rack with pegs. That was perfect for drying wet swimmsuits or towels. The accommodation is about 2 min walk from the bus stop, so you may just take the bus from the airport. The bus line also goes to the most beautiful beach on the island. The beach is about 5 min walk from the hotel, also really nice. Due to the great locality, there are all the good restaurants within 10 min walk (but mostly within 2-3 min, two great taverns are just opposite the hotel). There is also little fridge and two hotplates and some basic pots and utensils, but we did not use that. Staff was very nice, professional and helpful.

We could use a bit of more varieties for the breakfast. We were there for a week and the breakfast was same every day. We did not mind that there were just basic choices, but all the salami, cheese, bread, fruit, some muesli and yoghurt were always the same which is fine for few days, but mostly you do not want to eat same breakfast every day.

Excellent place to stay. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, always hot water available anytime of the day, outside seating area had plenty of space too. The breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice and the quality was very good too, nice coffee, cakes, fresh fruit, cheeses, meat and cereals. The staff were really kind and helpful and always there if anything was needed. Location of the property was good as very close to a lovely beach, great for swimming and within walking distance of Koukounaries. I would certainly stay here again on my next visit to the island.

Beautifully maintained gardens, with a handful of perfect little bungalows. Spotlessly clean, soundproofed rooms. Large pool, plenty of loungers, very friendly attentive team. Location is perfect, tucked away, yet 3 minutes walk to supermarket, handful of good tavernas and a calm, swimmable beautiful beach. Great place to rest and unwind.

Breakfast let it down. It’s ok. If they had a chef and had a better snack menu and breakfast, it would be a perfect mid range place to stay.

Everything was at the level that was in the description of the hotel. Attentive staff, check-in was possible 2 hours earlier, fresh products for breakfast, the pool was super in hot weather, the sea is 4 minutes walk, the bus is nearby.

One day, sun beds were reserved for strangers and outsiders, and hotel guests were unable to use them for the entire day.
