It was a truly great experience, we stayed in a spacious duplex (living room on the ground floor and bed / bathrom on the top floor) with a view to the swimming pool and sea in the distance. There were reviews mentioning that the access is via a steep path. It is steep indeed, however it shouldn't be a big effort for any semi-active person. Our host cleaned up daily, was always there to answer any question/issues. It was very quiet, and we really enjoyed that after a long day at the beach + dinner in the port we had our little retreat place. The location is fantastic. It's right in the middle between the best beaches (which are on the west side) and the port which is on the east side. This was a perfect fit for us, because we wanted quick access to the best beaches and the possibility to spend our late evenings in the port.

Everything went perfect with our stay. It was quiet by the pool ( outside ) so we felt like we could fully relax. We stayed a week, the amenities in the room were perfect, cooker, fridge, pots + pans + cutlery and ect. The hill is steep if you would have any difficulties with mobility however getting to the town and around the island is super simple as there is a bus stop at the bottom of the hill and comes very regularly. Mrs ' Xanthippi ' was very lovely and accommodating and gave us a lift down the hill to the bus stop with our big bags and gave us some information about nice places to see around Skiathos. Would definitely return here!

From the moment we arrived we realised we had picked a great place to stay for our holiday. We were greeted by Xanthippi who owns the property and she showed us around and gave us the tour with advice for the local area. The apartment is spotlessly clean and tended to every day. All the facilities in the apartment work very well and nothing is damaged or broken. You have wonderful views out of both the living area and the bedroom across the bay. The air-conditioning works very well, shower is great and the bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to make small meals if you don’t want to eat out. The garden and pool is all clean and well attended and a great place to hang out if you don’t want to go to the beach which is a five minute walk. Yes, the walk back up is a bit of a hill but we timed it at three minutes at a stroll, so it’s not a hardship. You will have everything you need to get your holiday moving in this area with all the other beaches very close to hand on the bus which is super efficient and cheap. Book your holiday now here.

Absolutely nothing not to like it is all great

The tranquillity and beautiful gardens with a great swimming pool. The owner and his sister in law could not have done anymore to make us feel welcome. Comfy bed and better shower than at home. Also, the fantastic restaurants and beaches are right on your doorstep. We will not forget this holiday for a long time. Thank you Villa Xanthippi❤️. Highly recommend 👍

The hill leading to the property. OK for the young ones but a bike or car are essential if you have mobility issues, but please don't let that put you off this amazing place!

Modern looking studio with a beautiful garden and a pool that most of the time felt like it was private just for us. Daily cleaning was a nice benefit. The property looks better than on photos here

The hill is indeed steep but we knew about it and it wasn’t an issue. Having a car for the whole duration is a good idea though! Bed could be better but it was ok for the value.

Had a lovely quiet and relaxing stay at Villa Xanthippi. The grounds and pool area are beautiful and impeccably maintained. Xanthippi herself works incredibly hard to ensure you have a perfect stay. Studio room was very tastefully decorated, nice shower, very comfortable bed and great Aircon. Daily cleaning kept the rooms incredibly clean.

The site is at the top of a very steep hill. In the hot weather it can be a bit of a struggle to walk up if you are not at peak fitness! This is obviously not a reflection of the property itself and doesn’t take away from a lovely stay and the great view once you’re at the top is worth it. Would recommend a car, scooter or Quad if you have any mobility issues.

Up off the road in a beautiful location, rooms were cleaned daily and spotless. The host was absolutely an amazing lady who maintained villa Xanthippi to the highest standards. Good shower and great little kitchen for breakfasts etc, I’ve stayed in many places but this place has my heart. We will definitely return Bobby and Clare

Like much of skiathos it’s up a hill which might not be ideal for all.

Everything was excellent. From the view, the pool, the silence, the comfortable bed & pillows, to the elegance and kindness of the host. But what truly stands out is the cleanliness. It was spotless clean. I usually take with me a pillow cover and a towel, because I have sensitive skin, I didn’t used them this time, because the ones from the property were impecable. Furthermore, the kitchen is fully equiped.

Comfortable place for everybody, quiet and cosy place. Beautiful landscape views from the premises. Nice pool, clean rooms. Closeby are shops, restaurants, beach and bus stop.

Internet connection is problematic, often disconnecting. Infrastructure on island is not high quality. Appartments are located on the steep hill so car is required unless you are fit enough to climb every day;).

Villa Xanthippe is a beautiful green oasis. The lush gardens make it a peaceful location on the hill above the beach. The pool is never busy and there are ample places to sunbath or sit under the shady palms and tall pines.The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is modern with soft towels, soap and hairdryer. Towels and bed linen are changed every two days which is perfect. The kitchen area is fully equipped with all necessary cutlery, crockery, washing up liquid, cloths and tea towel. There is bottled water in the fridge on arrival. There is good air conditioning and the terrace is wonderful to sit overlooking the garden for breakfast in the shade. There are two small supermarkets in Agia Pareskevi on the main road which is down the hill. There are at least three good tavernas - Kohyli is serves a great range with a great atmosphere. You can Catch the bus at stop 16 into Skiathos town and be there in minutes. Around 6.15 pm is good as it gets crowded. It is a steep hill up to the villa but the walk is worth it for the view and tranquility. It certainly keeps you fit. Xanthippe is a fabulous host. She is there if you need any assistance or help. Everything is welcoming, clean and a home from home. Thank you for making our stay wonderful!
