Modern looking studio with a beautiful garden and a pool that most of the time felt like it was private just for us. Daily cleaning was a nice benefit. The property looks better than on photos here

The hill is indeed steep but we knew about it and it wasn’t an issue. Having a car for the whole duration is a good idea though! Bed could be better but it was ok for the value.

Had a lovely quiet and relaxing stay at Villa Xanthippi. The grounds and pool area are beautiful and impeccably maintained. Xanthippi herself works incredibly hard to ensure you have a perfect stay. Studio room was very tastefully decorated, nice shower, very comfortable bed and great Aircon. Daily cleaning kept the rooms incredibly clean.

The site is at the top of a very steep hill. In the hot weather it can be a bit of a struggle to walk up if you are not at peak fitness! This is obviously not a reflection of the property itself and doesn’t take away from a lovely stay and the great view once you’re at the top is worth it. Would recommend a car, scooter or Quad if you have any mobility issues.

Villa Xanthippe is a beautiful green oasis. The lush gardens make it a peaceful location on the hill above the beach. The pool is never busy and there are ample places to sunbath or sit under the shady palms and tall pines.The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is modern with soft towels, soap and hairdryer. Towels and bed linen are changed every two days which is perfect. The kitchen area is fully equipped with all necessary cutlery, crockery, washing up liquid, cloths and tea towel. There is bottled water in the fridge on arrival. There is good air conditioning and the terrace is wonderful to sit overlooking the garden for breakfast in the shade. There are two small supermarkets in Agia Pareskevi on the main road which is down the hill. There are at least three good tavernas - Kohyli is serves a great range with a great atmosphere. You can Catch the bus at stop 16 into Skiathos town and be there in minutes. Around 6.15 pm is good as it gets crowded. It is a steep hill up to the villa but the walk is worth it for the view and tranquility. It certainly keeps you fit. Xanthippe is a fabulous host. She is there if you need any assistance or help. Everything is welcoming, clean and a home from home. Thank you for making our stay wonderful!

The hill was extremely steep, I’m early 40’s and average fitness and I struggled with it both up and down, my teenagers were fine but we didn’t anticipate just how steep the climb to hotel was and the surface of the hill is very uneven. Saying that the view you get is beautiful and a very peaceful location.

A very nice and well-kept place with mostly refurbished apts. I had one upstairs with a small but trendy bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and a large balcony with fantastic views to the sea and mountains. Yes, you have to master a small road uphill, but once you do, you‘ll enjoy the tranquility. The owner Xanthippi lives there too, which I found very convenient, because you‘ve always got somebody to address.

The host Mrs. Xanthippi is so kind and helpful, I admire her hard work for all day long and how she cares of the cleanness of the rooms, pool and yard. The property is very clean and cozy, felt like in my own home. The view is amazing, the sea and beautiful Skiathos Island is like on a palm of your hand.

The hill was extremely steep, but was definitely keeping us fit and in good shape :)

Very beautiful villa on the hill, which provides an amazing view from the terrace combined with a quiet and peaceful location. Our room was beautifully renovated, looks cozy and stylish, provides all the necessary things for a perfect stay. Daily room cleaning was just excellent, bed is very comfortable too. Nice sandy beach just down the hill and also easy access by bus or any rental transport to another destinations and beautiful beaches. The host is very kind, polite and helpful. We were also allowed to check out later without extra charge what's obviously very nice. Thank You so much. Highly recommended for a lovely escape to the beautiful nature with all the comfort.

Quiet location with pleasing views

We had a wanderfull summer start vacation at Villa Xanthippi. We got a great deal in June, and we enjoined the time spent there very much. The pool and garden are gorgeous. Apartment was big, confortable, extremly clean and had a verry nice view over the valley. We used the car for going up and down the hill, so the steep road was no problem for us.

Everything was good.

Very friendly and helpful proprietor. Cleaned and maintained exceptionally well. Cleaned every day with fresh towels each day and fresh bed linen most days. Very nice pool and gardens. Very comfortable. Kitchen, kettle and some cooking utensils. Very good free Wi-fi

Very steep hill road up from bottom if you don't have a car. Be warned. That aside, highly recommend.
