I had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel in Skopelos. It’s located about a 12-minute walk from the port — a bit uphill, but totally manageable. The beach is also nearby, which made everything very convenient. One of the nicest surprises was that the owners kindly offered to pick us up from the port upon arrival and also drove us back when we checked out. The real highlight of this place, though, is the owners themselves. They are such warm, kind, and genuinely helpful people. Their hospitality made us feel truly welcome. If more people were like them, the world would be a much better place. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Skopelos!

The hotel offers an amazing view over Skopelos Town — definitely the highlight of the room. The room itself was spacious, cleaned daily, and equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. It was excellent value for money and just a 6-minute walk from the port and town center. Getting down to the port was easy, while the way back required a bit of stamina — but with such a view, you really can’t complain. The true soul of the hotel, however, is Mairy. She’s always there with a big smile, embodying the essence of Greek filoxenia. Her warmth and kindness made our entire experience truly special. The room was simple, but her genuine spirit made all the difference — something rare and precious these days. Well done!

The only thing that comes to mind is the air conditioning — it was a bit outdated. It did the job, but struggled slightly during the hottest parts of the day.

Hospitality and service: 100/10. The people working at the hotel are the kindest. The most personal care we have experienced on our many trips and hotels. Perfectly located. The hotel has the best view of the city. This means that it lays up the hill, but is no issue since they offer to pick up and drop off free at the harbor. There are just the right distance to the main streets to not be bothered, and close enough to be there in just a few minutes on foot. There are also some beautiful restaurant just around the corner where we have our best dinners on the trip. A must hotel if staying in Skopelos. Will be back!

Breakfast selection may be a little small, but is absolutely enough for those who just need a simple breakfast to start the day.

Everything. It was a perfect experience from start to finish. Amazingly warm and kind owners. Perfect location with stunning view. There Hotel is located on a hill so there were some stairs to climb but then they showed us an alternative route with no stairs. Also they gave us a water in a very hot day as we forgot to buy some for the room. I even received a very nice gift at the end of our stay which will reminds me of this very special experience. It is a family hotel and I believe that each of the guests the owners welcome as a part of their family. Truly amazing stay ❤️

Fantastic views of the sea, town and hillside from the room and wrap around balcony. (room 301). Comfortable bed. Free pick up from our bus on arrival and drop off to the port for departure. Good service at breakfast. Maria is such a lovely host, warm, welcoming, friendly, attentive and super helpful. Thank you Maria. The hotel is in a lovely position and we enjoyed our walks up and down to the town through the lovely narrow cobbled streets. Walking back up again in the heat for the 2nd time each day in the evenings was a struggle for us oldies and would have been impossible if we were carrying anything more than our essentials. As an afterthought we probably should have got a taxi!

The Denise Hotel exceeded my expectations. As our first time to Greece, and our first hotel experience in Greece, we were unsure of how the hotel would feel compared to our usual American digs. Booking.com originally set us up with 3 single beds (3 guests) but the Denise hotel communicated after booking that they were not able to fulfill this request, which was no problem. We were greeted at the port after stepping off the ferry by the owner and her brother. They could not be more welcoming and helpful for our first time in Skopelos. The room was basic but clean, as was the bathroom. We were not able to use the pool, but it certainly looked like a great place to relax on a hot day. The view from the balcony was unbelievable. You will not regret staying at this hotel.

The view over the harbor was stunning. There was a very large balcony with chairs (and a clothes line) and a table that was ideal for having a drink, reading a book, and looking over the city and the water. The mattress was superb and great for my back. The manager, Maria, was the nicest and most welcoming person!! She picked us up at the port and dropped our luggage off there when we left and also helped us arrange a rental car for our island exploration. She always greeted us with a warm smile and made us at home.

As mentioned, the showers are small and a but challenging because of the lack of a curtain or full barrier. I got the hang of it and wasn’t bothered by it after I got over the initial surprise and challenge to what I’m used to.

Host gave us a better room with the best view possible without any charges. We'll aways be grateful. The room and pool were very clean. The natural light in our room was also a big bonus. Our stay was exceptional. Easy a 10/10.

The location, even if the view was marvellous, was a bit difficult to reach on foot. There are a lot of steps but it won't be a major problem. There is also a mini van to get you from and to the port on your arrival or your departure.

Superb service. We got pick up service from the port and they also offered to help us down to the port when leaving (we had a 2yo son with us so this was much appreciated). The room was clean and as they had a better room available we got an upgraded room with a magnificent view over the city and the bay. The owner helped us with information and tips. I can see a few ratings saying there is a lot of steps from the port, but all roads lead to Rome. There is a road with very few steps. Just ask at the reception and they will guide you. The heart of Skopelos and the port is a 10 minute walk thru some really nice alleys if you choose to challenge the stairs. Pool was a good treat for a quick swim, maybe not optimal for our 2 yo but he loved it anyway. All in all, a very good stay for me and the family for a much reasonable price!

Only thing I would appreciate more would be a more “baby friendly pool”. This is no criticism against this hotel as you can see on the pictures there is only one pool so I knew this from start. This is just a heads up if you travelling with small children.

Lovely small hotel with amazing views over Skopelos town! Mary and Spiros (and their cutest dog and cat) are great hosts, so kind and helpful. Nice room, comfortable bed and a big balcony. It's quite a climb up to the hotel, but the views are definitely worth it! On the day of arrival they can pick you up from the port, just arrange in advance. Highly recommended! I had a great stay, thank you Mary & Spiros!

The only thing I missed was a shower curtain, so the water wouldn't be all over when having a shower.
