We loved everything about this hotel. Literally everything. This place is truly magical and the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff were impeccable - from the welcome by the reception team, to the staff in the bar, restaurant, and pool area, everyone was exceptional. The views, standard of room, and the food all far exceeded expectations. I didn't want to leave! The views from this hotel are breathtaking and you're far enough from the busy, touristy areas to feel like you're on your own private island (but still near enough to nip to all the "must sees/dos"). Breakfast is served every morning to your own private balcony/terrace and you can sit, overlooking the sea and volcano whilst sipping on a freshly brewed coffee and munching on a cinnamon whirl or delicious omelette made to order. Heaven. The infinity pool area is calm and drinks are served all day if you want to just relax by the pool. The FOOD...treat yourself to a tasting menu one evening and you won't regret it. It is not cheap...but it's a real experience eating that quality of food, while overlooking that view. If you're staying for more than one night, also head to the Taverna just behind the hotel for a relaxed Greek vibe - mouthwatering gyros (and epic view of the sunset!). The room has a tastefully done Grecian-style jacuzzi and the cleaners come in at least twice (if not three times) per day. The cleanliness of the place is second to none. The bed is super comfy and, again, waking up to that view is unreal! I can't recommend this hotel more highly - seriously, book it!

The quality of the service is extraordinary. Every member is friendly, professional and very responsive. Our room, an Executive Suite, had a very large terrace which allowed us to spend most of our stay in it which is what you want. Food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent.

Nothing - everything was perfect. Note that the hotel has very few common areas, so I imagine that that the incredible experience we had might not be replicated if you select one of the rooms that have just a balcony or small terrace. That said, the pool area is very nice too with the fantastic service of the staff.

The minute we arrived George and the staff couldn’t do enough for us, they was very welcoming and our suite was amazing. Astarte suites was a beautiful place and will definitely be visiting again.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Loved the view, friendly attentive staff, the look of the rooms, and the changeable breakfast menu, and the on site massage therapist.

The lack of privacy from bathroom room. Stayed there with a friend and we had to remind each other we were using bathroom and such. Also, woul have enjoyed a smart TV to connect our Netflix when we were tired and had a lot of snacks and time to chill in the room with the jacuzzi.

Service, view, including their cuisine.there was also an amazing restaurant a walk distance from this hotel great food and price, and you can see the sunset.

The island was super expensive to get taxis ordered by the hotel. I suggest booking Uber for pick ups - you need 2 hours in advance for bookings on the island. Plan ahead or rent a 4 wheeler, we will next time. Lots of stairs everywhere you go in Santorini, not just this hotel.

Amazing place to stay, The rooms are exactly as seen in pictures, and the service is even better, All the staff were great they made our stay very comfortable, they helped us with information and even helped me organise a proposal to my partner. The breakfast was very good and their mojitos are very good too, would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Santorini.

The whole experience was amazing. The views right from our terraxe were magical and probably one of the best in santorini. The staff and service were impeccable and the tasting menu at the restaurant was exceptional. 10/10

the location situated in the quieter less busier part of Santorini. the views are the best in Santorini - waking up and seeing the caldera every morning 👌🏽

trivial things like pillows weren’t great. the stairs to and from the hotel are a challenge. please be mindful that there are no lifts available. that being said great exercise!

Astarte Suites is impeccable, the attention to detail is like no other hotel my partner and I have ever been to. The staff are all unbelievably friendly and caring. My partner proposed to me in the restaurant area with a view to die for, and the staff went above and beyond to organise flowers, videoing him on one knee, congratulating us and making a fuss which was so lovely. Every day the team recommended which restaurants to go to, and asked how our day has been. They genuinely want you to have an amazing time, the level of hospitality is amazing. A huge shoutout to George and Katerina! A massive shoutout to the maintenance guy who carried our cases from our transport to our room when we arrived, and back again when we sadly had to check out. He also gave us a lift to the village a couple of times, we wish we knew his name to give him the shoutout he deserves. We chose the Junior Suite and the room was unbelievable! it was spotlessly clean and the hot tub so relaxing after a long day of activities. We honestly want to return back as soon as possible.

There was not one issue with this property! the main centre of Akrotiri is down quite a steep hill which can be a 20-35 minute walk but if the team are not busy, they will drive you or arrange a taxi.
