I highly recommend Caldera Romantica Hotel — the property is truly beautiful and captures the perfect Santorini vibes. Our room was stunning, equipped with every comfort: conveniently placed outlets, a spacious wardrobe, a great vanity with mirror, a hairdryer, and all this within an impeccably designed space. Everything was spotless, with daily cleaning done right on time. As a celiac, I was impressed by how well-informed the staff were. They were extremely attentive to my dietary needs at every meal — a detail that made a huge difference during my stay. The real highlight of the hotel is the staff. The lovely receptionist Natassawelcomed us warmly and, along with her colleague, arranged both our airport transfers and quad rental through one of the hotel’s partner agencies. Everyone at the hotel was always smiling, helpful, kind, and quick to solve any request — they’re truly the heart and soul of the place.

We spent four amazing days at this property — clean, well-organized, with truly comfortable rooms and a stunning pool overlooking a breathtaking view. The girls from the team were absolutely lovely: always smiling, genuinely kind, and ready to help us with anything we needed. They gave us great tips on what to see, which beaches to visit, and where to go for a drink. Their warmth really made us feel at home, and we’ll always remember them with a smile. We highly recommend this place to everyone: it has a truly romantic view of the caldera and is in a strategic location to reach Santorini’s best beaches (like Black Beach and Red Beach). In short, four days of pure relaxation thanks to the wonderful team that runs this place 😄. We were really sad to leave and we hope to come back soon!

Great hotel which is quite basic, but styled beautifully and thoughtfully and with deeply comfortable beds. The coffee pod machine and desk were much appreciated features and there was ample storage space for our suitcases. Loved the stone cave-style bathrooms and the view, to be honest, is better than several of the more expensive hotels up the hill.

Breakfast was basic for a hotel but given the price, I wouldn't complain about this. The view at breakfast is also absolutely stunning - right into the caldera with Oia and Fira both visible.

We spent only one night before going to the airport to return home. The hotel is nice , swimming pool ok and very friendly people. I’d like to underline the courtesy of Natassa which helped and assisted us a lot as I’ve temporarily lost my wallet and she supported me contacting the police station to report the loss and also helped us searching the wallet in the hotel amenities and in our room . We’ve finally found the wallet :-) SUPER THANKS TO Natassa .

Unfortunately the restaurant was not open in the evening

We stayed at the hotel for one night after arriving late and before travelling to the port to another island. We could happily have stayed a few more nights. If the aim is to realx by the pool its a lovely little hotel, good value. For exploring you will need a rental car, but reception is happy to helt with that. Rooms were large and modern. We had one double and one trippel for the family of 5. Nice and quiet area. Stunning view from restaurant.

All was good, but be aware you need a car if you want to see more than hotel and the local beach. But that is possibly the same where ever you stay

The staff is extremely nice and helpful, the pool area is chill and clean with good vibes. Breakfast is really good!

A bit outside of amenities, so renting a scooter/car is needed.

We liked our room, the pool area, and the breakfast area and the views were amazing. The staff were fantastic and more than happy to help with quad rentals, organising transport from the port and to the airport. Nothing was a problem. Akrotiri is a gem, what a beautiful village, quite and hardly any tourists.

The entire hotel is like a wind tunnel and although beautiful decorated there wasn’t enough soft furnishings to absorb the noise from all the concrete surroundings. Noisy from inside our room, we could hear other guests coming and going. Continuous traffic on the main road (sea view side). Unfortunately the pool area is protected from the wind and we were unable to use the pool when it was really windy, as everything blew away. 2km from the nearest village, supermarket, bus stop. You really need a quad, scooter or car if you stay here.

Beautiful and peaceful hotel with breathtaking views of the Caldera of Santorini. The location was fantastic, the room very clean and comfortable, and the reception staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it !

The staff at Caldera Romantica was exceptional. The best we have ever seen. Ioanna and Panos were super friendly, extremely helpful and truly interested in our wellbeing. Ioanna from reception is the best employee imaginable. They arranged everything we could imagine without any issues and made sure we had excellent food every day. The suite was very comfortable, clean, spacious and had a great view and a good bed. The location is perfect as it is located on a more quiet part of the island, yet you can reach both the capital and most relevant sites within a 5-20 minute drive. Beautiful view, great pool and fair prices. 10/10. Would highly recommend everyone to visit and the hotel to reward their amazing staff.

We pretty much enjoyed everything in our stay! The room was clean, calm and the swimming pool was nice. The breakfast was all we needed to start our day. We really look forward to come back someday!
