Obsessed with this hotel! The staff: Natalia, Ellie, George, and Paris were absolutely fantastic! We had a room with our own pool. Get the breakfast to your room. It’s wonderful. The edge restaurant was also excellent food. We made friends with George who would give us wine recommendations when we went back to our room. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and honeymoon. Book this place immediately!

It’s a little off the beaten path but honestly my husband and I loved that fact. You will need to either rent a car or we rented an ATV. We also got taxi’s or transfers as they call them.

The rooms, while modest in decor, are practical and cater to all basic needs, though improved soundproofing would enhance the comfort for guests. The hotel's staff shines with their warm hospitality, particularly the morning duo whose friendly demeanor starts the day on a bright note. The breakfast is a feast for the senses, featuring a delightful array of choices crowned with freshly squeezed orange juice. The Edge restaurant presents an unforgettable culinary experience, complemented by a breathtaking sunset that adds to the splendor of its delectable menu. A small suggestion for improvement would be for the approachable yet reserved hotel owner to take a more proactive approach in greeting guests, fostering a more personal connection that reflects the overall amiable atmosphere of the hotel. This minor adjustment could elevate the already charming experience at Hotel Goulielmos, making it not just a stay, but a memorable encounter with the heart of hospitality. Should I have the opportunity to return to Santorini, I would definitely choose this hotel again.

Amazing place , everything according description ! -Hotel & Bar/Restaurant staff professional and high quality. - use of the pool without time limit - nice sunset from hotel without stress to go somewhere after a nice day around the island - day of the check out you can stay and enjoy the pool waiting your transfer to Harbor or Airport - reception staff really helpful to organize rent / info etc.

Maybe could be a suggest during the winter closure , maybe was just in our room , please put some Hangers in the bathroom, while no chance to put bath towels somewhere.

The view is great, the staff is great. The rooms are clean and the amenities are complete. It's perfect. The restaurant next door was the best we had in Santorini, so we went there twice for dinner. It's also great that the bus stop is right in front of us.

I had a small child with me, so the bus didn't come on time and it was difficult to get to the city center. It's good to have a rental car for small children.

We spent 4 nights in a family room with a stunning view and private plunge pool. The room was well appointed and very comfortable, with the children (aged 7 and 5) having their own single beds. It is not the largest family room but it is well appointed with a coffee machine, kettle, TV, lots of towels, toiletries, dressing gowns, etc and rose wine on ice and fruit for our arrival. We loved the location, having breakfast served on our terrace and the ambience by the main pool. We hired a car to explore the island and although we saw many people waiting for local buses, the hotel has free parking. The staff are excellent and super friendly.

We had to unplug the fridge at night as it was a tad noisy. The food at the Edge restaurant is lovely but you wouldn't want to eat there every night, so need to venture further afield which although not far, is easiest to drive.

Exceptionally friendly staff, amazing views of the island, rooms beautifully decorated. The breakfast served in the room was delicious with so much variety of savoury and sweet options, although the restaurant area was also beautiful (their restaurant 'The Edge' is the top restaurant in the area) with unbeatable sunset views. The heated pool in our room was a real bonus especially in the evenings. A short walk into town (10 mins) gives lots of choice for dinner (porto bello was our highlight). Good bus links into other major areas of the island.

The only thing to mention was the fact that the whole bathroom floor would get drenched after having a shower as there's no curtain and the bathroom area is quite small. It was manageable, though, and didn't affect our stay at the hotel

I can’t say enough good things about hotel Goulielmos!! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful (shout out Elli at reception!). We got a welcome drink upon arrival and our bags taken to our room for us. Anything we asked was met with a smile and respect. We had to leave at 5:30am for the airport so they allowed us to do the check out process the night before (reception closes at 12am) and even arranged to pack us a breakfast bag which we picked up at the reception before we left. The facilities are clean and beautiful, the beds are soo comfortable and the food is delicious. You can choose what you want for breakfast every day (and what time you want it) and it will be delivered to your room where you can eat it on your private patio. The pool and restaurant both have a gorgeous view of the ocean and volcano. The reception staff will arrange for a taxi to take you wherever you need and the Calderra beach (small and private) is a 10 minute walk away. They also have atv rentals available. We only stayed here 3 nights as the last leg of our trip and I will 100% be back for a longer stay!!

Great views, secluded enough to relax but accessible enough to get around all destinations of the island, the staff were friendly and welcoming, always helpful and great service, we didn’t have to lift a finger! The chef and staff had a great selection of food and a great wine list, black beaches are right beneath you, and the sunsets were gorgeous!

Very little to dislike, only the bird songs in the morning but not much you can change about that 😊

This is a first rate property! We were greeted at the door by staff, who were so helpful during our stay. The view is exquisite!! Breakfast is fabulous and is included , even champagne! We wanted something peaceful and this is perfect. Get a car and drive to Fira and Oia but then come back and relax in either your private plunge pool or the elegant hotel pool and cabanas. On top of all is the Edge restaurant with seating on the edge of a cliff overlooking the volcano . Dinner at the dining room and lunch ( outside of our room) were fabulous. Can’t say enough about the kindness of complete staff.

Panorama is dreaming, nice Music and atmoshere. Quality of food also high, but the most important reason I would reccomend this place is for the smile of the whole staff always ready to help for any need.

Back garden rooms could have designed better with a wider bathroom and room space in general, but there is a nice private area. A bit strange also position of tv not centered. You need to choose menu breakfast the day before, selecting all things you would like day after (for me is not the best).I think that some improvements in the pool area (eg some broken tiles) and in the reception (eg eliminating all cheap gadgets on sale) could definitevely help to give higher quality perception.
