We loved our stay very much. Amazingly kind and helpful hotel manager. Thank you so much! Very good room - everything is so comfortable and thoughtful - good mattress, great shower, balcony with a great view, just perfect. Very good breakfast! Great pool and common area. A very peaceful, quiet place, where you can truly rest. The bus stop is just in front of the hotel - very easy to navigate through the island. The center of the village with shops and restaurants is just a 5 mins walk. We were in heaven, thank you for our amazing stay.

Flora was very knowledgeable about the island and gave us a few great pointers on arrival. She also upgraded us to a family room for which we were very grateful as we stayed for 5 nights. We were very happy and impressed with how clean everything was and also enjoyed the breakfast variety every morning. On the last day, we were very thankful to be able to use the facilities after checking out and enjoyed a few hours on the comfy upstairs terrace.

The view was UNBELIEVABLE. The staff was so helpful and kind. I would 100 percent stay again, and reccomend it to anyone. Especially if you're looking to get away from the touristy part of the island. (But you can get to Fira by public bus for 2 Euros, so it's perfectly accessible)

My ONLY comment about this hotel was that the lock on my bathroom was broken and I got trapped for about 10 minutes while the staff tried to get it open. I'm assuming they've looked into it and get it fixed so no one else gets stuck. But if you're in room 4, be careful haha

Kalimera Hotel is an intricate and extremely well-maintained property in the charming village of Akrotiri. The breakfast was delicious, the staff (particularly Flora) were professional and helpful and the facilities were clean and beautiful. The hotel was quiet and we had beautiful views of the sea from our well-appointed room. Delicious restaurants and good shops within walking distance and the bus stops right out in front of the hotel.

Other patrons could’ve been a little more friendly.

The room had a nice window to the sea. it was also cool and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety of food and snacks. There was a nice pool but we didn't get to swim in it but we were able to walk to the nearest beach (however, the beach was a bit stony)

Highly suggest to rent a car or an ATV when visiting Santorini. Although the hotel has some places that are walkable, most people will probably want to go other places as well, which is why having a vehicle is highly recommended

Super welcoming host and outstanding location. Room was not overly spacious, but had everything what you need. Bathroom was exemplary clean, finished with high quality items and looked like new. Whole hotel is build with great attention to detail, maintained and cared for.. Nice pool and homey courtyard, serving also as breakfast area allows enjoying the local architecture and vibe. View from just outside of the hotel is incredible. Caldera Beach that is just across the street is recommended place for snorkeling and has a dive centre too.

If you would like to sleep in a little, it might be difficult as the host's dog likes to welcome people joining for breakfast starting at 8 am. Doors to the room allowed us to hear every movement around the hotel, which was slightly disturbing, especially when new guests were arriving later in the night.

My room at the back was quiet calm spacious and well equipped. I enjoyed the garden and pool and the restaurant. All the staff gave me a warm welcome and were always friendly. I think the village of Akrotiri is special as it didn't feel crowded and has nice restaurants.

Nothing really. I'm not sure the description on booking.com about the sea view was completely true of my room as i was on the ground floor. I could see a bit of sea. But it was a pretty outlook.

Staff were very informative and friendly. Nothing seemed like to much of an issue. They were able to recommend places to go and booked us a taxi on the last day for cheaper than quoted elsewhere. Rooms were clean and showers were fantastic for the quality we were used to in Greece.

Storage in room is very limited. No wardrobe or cupboards for clothes.

Beautiful! Spotlessly clean, plentiful breakfast, great pool in a lovely lush garden (most hotels in Santorini are very bare with no foliage). Bus stop right out front. Several very good restaurants in easy walking distance. In a lovely quiet (but not dull or remote) part of the island, largely free of the daytrippers off the cruise boats.

Amazing location, bus stop in front of the hotel and from there you can go to Fira and connect to other interesting locations. Crossing the street you have an amazing Caldera view. The hotel room and installations were simply amazing, new, clean and maintained. It should be qualified as a 4 star hotel. The staff was also exceptional, super nice and very familiar. For quality and price rate in Akrotiri this is the best hotel.
