We loved this hotel and its wonderful staff and that is why I came back for my 2nd visit.Its a 3 star hotel and a little bit basic but Mina and all the staff make you so welcome and nothing is too much trouble.The location is perfect, its right on the main street where all the shops and restaurants are.The beach is right there too at the bottom of the road with even more restaurants and cocktail bars. Really nice restaurants like Pomodoro, The Steak House, Amelia's and further up the road on the right hand side is a really nice Chinese /Thai restaurant The beach is very pebbly and shingly but I am more a pool person .The bus stop to go to Fira and Oia is also up the road, 4 euros to Fira then another bus to Oia, 8 euros total round trip. This is a little gem of a place. :-)

Maybe could do with a little updating

The staff were incredible from start to finish. It was our first holiday with our 8month old baby, and it really was made special by the attention and kindness shown to us. The hotel itself is relatively basic, but certainly has everything you need: a clean and sizeable room, great pool area, and a well stocked bar. The breakfast was good if not particularly earth shattering, but we were well fed. Location wise, few hundred yards to the main promenade of Kamari beach with all the bars and restaurants therefore immediately accessible. An excellent cat as resident too :)

Upon arrival greeted very well and the room had the facilties listed in the advert. Hair and body products supplied in the bathroom foc were good. The rooms were clean and neat. Separate towels were supplied for the poolside. The reception staff were welcoming upon arrival... though the last day, I suspect lead by the owners, was not handled well, as no notification was given on the website or by the staff the previous day, that the poolside facilities wouldn't be available ie padded sunbed covers, on the last day of the season. This would have made a difference at to where we'd booked. The room was highly lit, at times a lower light would be better, perhaps a lower watt bulb into the side table lights, or a darker shade to reduce the light levels, would be an improvement. Location, excellent. Good breakfast. Good local restaurants and lovely local shops offering something a little different. Close to local transport for travel across the island, which is regular and cheap to use.

On the last day, the poolside facilities were not available, ie padded sunbed covers ...hard wooden lats are not acceptable to be left with. They'd been packed away overnight, no notification was given to their customers. Be aware, that although the last day of the season with flights leaving very late in the day, rooms still had to be vacated by 11am. On the positive a downstairs area was provided for a shower and change of clothes. Under normal mid season conditions I'm sure everything would be fine. A darker shade or lower wattage bulbs in the side lights would be better for reduced lighting options, to not disturb other occupiers of the room. A safe in the room would be an improvement, rather than a room behind the reception.

The staff by far makes the holiday stay here. Such lovely people 💕 Great location 5 mins to everything. Feels intimate and like a home from home. Beautiful flower trees everywhere and lovely pool area.

We stayed two nights and unfortunately we had a visit from some tiny ants both nights. The staff did get an exterminator in and try to resolve the problem. To be fair we did have fruit in the room so obviously that didnt help. But it wouldnt stop us visiting again. Feels like a family run business they cant do enough to help

A lovely boutique hotel in a great location. Mina and Rea on reception were amazing!! Always giving us tips for restaurants, places to visit and always had time to have a chat about our day. The hotel is spotless, as is the pool area. Pool towels given out each day and the sun beds were comfy. Lots of shade when it hit 40 degrees last week. Two lovely ladies cook the breakfast in the little kitchen and there is a nice selection to choose from. The lady who cleaned our room was fabulous as was the young lady who looked after the pool bar. First time in Santorini and we will definitely return!!!

In the flight path for airport but not a big problem.

The location and the staff; Mina and Bill were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. Free pool towels & safe. Beds very comfortable. Towels changed every day. Rooms cleaned to a high standard.

The hotel is in need of modernising / updating in a number of area's, which would bring it back to the standard of other 3 star hotels in the vicinity.

My wife and I stayed at the Acqua Vatos for one night at that beginning of our 2 weeks in the Greek islands. I chose it based on proximity to the airport alone. After a disastrous trip ( see my easy jet and Idea Mobility by Yours) , the staff and location reset both of us for what turned into a magical trip. I went in with no expectations but was beyond impressed with the location, room condition, and amazing breakfast buffet. But what really defines the hotel is the staff. Mina is a treasure and if you are fortunate enough to meet her you will understand why I say this. After our LATE arrival and subsequent F**k over by idea mobility, she brought a sense of calm and competence that would be repeated throughout our stay. Convenient location, amazing breakfast , and superior staff has me looking at the other properties in the companies portfolio for our next stay.

This is a very nice hotel in a convenient location, kept very clean by hardworking staff. The manageress Mina and her colleague on reception are absolutely brilliant - friendly, helpful and always with a smile and a word of greeting for guests.

I thought the pool area could do with some care and attention. It was a bit shabby and not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel.

From our arrival we were made to feel so welcome by the reception staff. Gave us some good advice of local bars and restaurants and also some good info of places in other villages too. No issues at all during our 8 night stay. Nice clean rooms . The hotel building looked clean and fresh from out on the road, 👍 Nice selection of breakfast items all freshly cooked. All staff from receptionist, kitchen cook, pool bar manager and cleaners all very friendly and efficient. Genuinely a nice place for our stay.

Nothing really to complain about , maybe some areas around the pool could do with updating, some of the sun loungers were old, few tables maybe needed re painting, or replacing, but none of this affected our stay.

It’s my third time in this hotel, because every time experience is perfect. Location is perfect, just 3 min from beach, girls from reception are very very nice ! The room are clean and even got better room than we reserved. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone and I will back again for sure, hope soon :) Thanks a lot again to your team from reception, super nice people !
