This place truly embodies everything a boutique hotel should offer, and even more. First of all, the entire hotel is beautifully designed, with a strong emphasis on aesthetics. The visual appeal is evident in every detail. The architecture exudes a Mediterranean vibe—elegant, simple, and thoughtfully detailed. The interior design and objects used within the hotel complement each other perfectly, creating a harmonious atmosphere. The hotel is very practical; you can easily reach the beach from the rooms. The rooms are spacious, with different types to choose from, including some with their own private pool. There are two distinct restaurants on the beach. The breakfast is rich and satisfying, with options that cater to all tastes. You can enjoy a leisurely, extended breakfast. In the evening, there’s a fantastic seaside restaurant offering both Italian cuisine and a classic, traditional tavern experience—both are a must-try. While there are other beautiful spots on the island where you can swim, the hotel’s beach is so lovely that you won’t feel the need to leave. The staff is extremely attentive in every aspect. Whether during the day, in the restaurants, or at any time, their warmth and hospitality make you feel at home within minutes of your arrival.

Everything was sublime. The facilities are clean, serene, and picturesque, blending with nature and highlighting the Greek island style. The breakfast is abundant and tasty. The spa is available to all guests (sauna & steam bath), and there is also a range of paid therapies (Alexandra & Spiros performed one of the best massage therapies we ever had). Nice beachfront with very comfy sun beds and a chilling lounge area above it, available until late. All the staff were very polite and helpful. Finally, all these would not be possible without Manolis, the hotel manager, who guided us through the hotel amenities and compensated us with extra pampering.

We often choose hotels for budget or amenities, but I believe we remember places because of the people we meet - not the location (however lovely it is) or the food, etc. Patmos Aktis is one of these hotels that scores the top marks for its beach access, lovely food, the spa, and if you are lucky, the cool pool. But you will want to come back because how great the team is. Congratulations to Patmos Aktis, you must be doing something very right for you to employ so many kind, helpful and lovely people.

Occasionally house keeping gets things wrong. Clean always, but some dirty glasses left here and there.

Service was exceptional. Breakfast quality was great as was the general food at the hotel. Staff were friendly, accessible and happy to assist. Rooms were large and clean. Great location.

Beautiful 5 star resort situated on it's own private beach, with lounges available for guests of the resort to use (including towels and water). The rooms are quite spacious and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the breakfast is comprehensive with many options and coffee made to order. Nice touches like bringing by water bottles to your room at night, since you are a bit removed from shops etc. You can also walk to several restaurants nearby for dinner if you don't have a car. All in the value is quite good for the price you pay, and it was the perfect place for a relaxing week at the beach.

The food at the beach is rather expensive, but you pay for the convenience :)

This year the food offer in the hotel was not as good as it was in previous years. The room service menu was basic for a 5star hotel. Breakfast also had a more limited choice of options in comparison to previous years. This specific comment may devide opinions as I'm sure that many people like French style scrubland eggs for breakfast but I didn't like this option at all and found it a bit too heavy. As I said it is a personal preference. This year there wasn't a welcome drink /snack in the room when we arrived. It used to be a nice personal touch, it is a shame it is gone. Let's hope it will be back next year.

Of course, the location is superb, in the Grikos bay. When we finally got the apartment we initially booked, everything was fine. The maisonnette with private pool has a very luxurious feel and has lots of privacy.

We arrived beginning of May, and the hotel had just opened after winter stop. It appeared that our room wasn't ready yet, so we got another room, which was an upgrade according to the staff members. So we got a room with nice sea view, but no private pool. However, for us it didn't feel like an upgrade. Then suddenly, after two days, we were informed that our apartment was available, if we still wanted to change. So we did. In general, we had the feeling that the staff was not entirely ready or trained for the job, probably because they just started with their jobs there.

Honestly, I can't think of a single thing we didn't like. The staff was incredible! This is how a place like this (and a model for others to emulate) should be run. Friendly, welcoming, informative, quick with service, great breakfast. I could go on. From Costas jumping at the chance to park our car and grab our bags to his generally friendly and enthusiastic demeanor, he was a real treat. Constantina was a sweet young lady who was charming and brought an easiness to the reception area. In their very nice spa, I opted for a 90 minute deep tissue massage due to a few herniated discs. Been getting these every two weeks or so for at least 3 decades. Of course I've had my share of great masseuses, but I was absolutely amazed with Natalia. One of the absolute best massages I've ever had! She is skilled, professional, well educated in the finer points of deep tissue massage and knocked it out of the park. If you need a deep tissue massage, don't miss this chance.

Wow what a beautiful hotel. The staff who welcomed me on arrival were excellent and gave me a tour of the facilities. The room itself was so quiet and beautiful. There was so much space, the bed was comfy and the private pool was perfect to cool down in the heat. Breakfast was delicious and I will definitely return to this luxury hotel.

The breakfast was delicious and the outlook to the water was beautiful but the service was lacking. The team were very attentive to other tables however I needed to flag someone down for everything. It was a shame as the food and the variety was excellent.
