We stayed in Alea Mare Hotel just for one night but we are sooo excited! Everyone was very kind. The staff was very friendly, helpful and willing to give any information we needed. The breakfast was delicious with traditional pies and sweets! We had a room with a breathtaking Panoramic view of the Castle and the sunrise! We also had the chance to have a night drink by the sea and enjoy this beautiful view. We will definitely be back Alea Mare! Thank you!!

Alea Mare has the true Dodecanese vibe, with the sea and the beach, and to have a very good breakfast with the nicest view, and the bar just steps away from the beach to enjoy day and night, super close to best restaurants in Alinda; and most importantly we appreciate very much that the Alea Mare team is always ready to make everything in their power to make our stay the best, with a positive and make it work approach they always cater for our needs. This year Filippos and his team have outdone it and worked a miracle to change our room and make us the most comfortable possible. To set you expectations keep in mind that in the Dodecanese Islands most accommodation options are small hotels, apartments or B&Bs that will usually be old and simple, room types not standard within the same facility. You will get clean rooms and decent breakfasts, as well as sincerity, kindness and attention. This is the vibe and it is aligned with everything else you will get: tavernas, coffee shops, bars, beaches: honest, unpolished, natural, relaxed. Of course there are exceptions to all these that offer more comfort and even luxury, for a different guest profile at a higher price for sure.

A Hidden Gem in Leros! I had an amazing stay at Hotel Alea Mare and can’t recommend it enough! First off, the location is perfect — just steps from the beach with stunning views of the Aegean Sea. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and the ideal place to unwind. The price was more than reasonable for the quality and experience. You truly get great value here without sacrificing comfort or charm. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast each morning — fresh, local ingredients, great variety, and all served with a smile. A perfect start to the day, whether you're off to explore the island or just relax by the water. And speaking of smiles — the bartender was absolutely lovely! Friendly, attentive, and always ready with a good drink and even better conversation. It's those personal touches that make a place feel like home. If you're heading to Leros, do yourself a favor and stay here.

The Alea Mare hotel is a comfortable, well kept hotel in a great location in Alinda, close to an excellent choice of eating places, bars and small shops and even a small museum. The taxi drive from the main port took about 15 minutes and cost about £10. It is across the bay from the port of Aghia Marina, where we walked one day and enjoyed watching some fishermen bringing in the day's catch of sardines in the harbour. We really enjoyed being so close to the beach, and the flower-covered area where we ate breakfast looking out at the sea. The breakfast itself was not the best but we liked that it was available later than usual, giving a relaxed start to the day, in a beautiful setting. We loved the island of Leros and hope to visit again one day, and would happily stay again in the Alea Mare hotel.

The hotel is in a wonderful location in the lovely Alinda beach. It is more repaired from the wind than other spots along the Alinda bay. There is a very good breakfast and sunbeds and umbrellas are available on a first-come basis if one makes a small order from the cafe of the hotel.

I was at the hotel for a week last year (2023), and everything was smooth, but this year I came at a busier time of the year. My stay was still wonderful, but I found that the rooms were serviced a bit "hastily", perhaps for lack of staff. The staff took the towels every day... but a couple of times they forgot to replace them, or some of them, and I had to call to get towels. I also found that the reception staff was not "completely professional" and well informed about necessary issues (one day, for 2 hours the water was stopped along all the bay. The reception staff had no idea as to what was going on, while for instance the nearby restaurant was informed).

Generally the rooms need a renovation and an upgrade. It was too small for 2 people and bathroom was flooding after shower since the shower cabin was made only till the half, not completely closing.

The hotel has a great location 10 mt. away from the sea. You can reach to hotel from Agia Marina Port renting a car or a taking a cab in a 5 min. There are so many restaurants with a walking distance. Breakfast was incrediable with a various choises. Turkish guests will definitely like it. Whole hotel was clean. Before check-in and after check-out the hotel has a guest room which guests can use. Guest room has also has a shower. Hotel staff was polite and helpfull. Hotel has a cafe where you can eat some snacks and drink something. Wifi works very well.

Shower cabin must have one more screen. When you use the cabin and if you don't be careful water flows to the room. Sunbeds are limited. Since non-hotel customers are allowed to use sunbeds, hotel customers can not find place.

Fabulous position overlooking the beach with stunning views across the bay Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms with efficient air conditioning. Breakfast good with adequate choice.

Hotel does need updating and mattresses need upgrading. The hotel has some sunbeds on the beach there are not enough for everyone. Beds are claimed early in the morning by leaving towels on them ,,then left for hours unused . Hotel should monitor this and remove towels after an hour enabling others to use them.

I was stayed on the ground floor and the wifi signal was too weak.And the shower,actually all clean water is comin from the sea i think :) you are all day salty😇

All staff were friendly and offered excellent service. They carried our cases up the stairs to our room and back down upon our departure. Maria, in the outside bar always had a pleasant smile, the included breakfasts were fresh and filling and our room was spotlessly clean with fresh towels were provided ever day.

Certain guests reserved the beach sun beds early, even before sunrise, but didn't appear in person until much later in the day. This is an age old problem but was a real pain at times.
