Friendly atmosphere, lovely staff, great facilities, kept clean and tidy, good aircon. Communal kitchen allowed meeting and socialising with other climbers. Mosquito situation wasn't too bad.

Mattress was quite thin, so didn't sleep that well. While we knew it was on the hill when booking, 10 days of taking the stairs up and down each day took it out of us! Disturbed first night with people making noise outside the quiet hours but the rest of the week wasn't an issue

Had a fantastic stay, great value especially for solo travellers/climbers. Situated in an ideal spot: walking distance from a few major crags and less than 5 mins away from the beach, gear shops, groceries, and restaurants. The staffers Emmanuela and Cleopatra were extremely nice, they helped with anything I had questions about and it was lovely chatting with them every day. Will definitely be back!

Very friendly staff. The hotel is off the main strip so nice and quiet, but only a short walk down to shops and restaurants.

The kitchenette was quite small and in reality it would not be possible to cook a full meal easily in the studio, but the shared facilities downstairs were much better equipped.

Amazing views and atmosphere, cold AC, hot showers, several clean and comfortable common areas/kitchen. This place has everything you need for the best possible price. Alex is great and helped with everything I needed. My experience at the Afroditi is one of the reasons I will be coming back to Kalymnos again.

We were a group of 7 climbers, and we had a great time at the Afroditi Hotel. They booked a taxi for us when our flight was delayed and even allowed us to check in at 1 a.m. All the staff were very kind and friendly (hi Alex!). I'd love to come back.

The building needs a bit of renovation, but the price is reasonable for the condition of the hotel.

Very comfortable hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. Alex was amazing. The hotel has a well-cleaned and large shared kitchen. Every day they come to clean the room and change the towels if dirty. The air conditioning, which is essential, is fully functional

The room, and the also bathroom, is a bit small, but it is in line with the Massouri studios.

Alex, the host, was incredibly nice and took care of everything, making our stay very enjoyable. The location is perfect for climbing enthusiasts, as it is within walking distance to the morning crags, so we didn't need a vehicle to reach them. The view is beautiful, and the small kitchen had everything we needed. For larger groups, the shared kitchen with a big dining area was a great addition.

Very comfortable, good location with bus stop next to the hotel. Room was pretty and exactly what we needed. The view of Telendos from our room was amazing. We loved the communal food area also the bottles of water provided in the hotel so that we don't have to carry them ourselves as the tap water is not drinkable. Kalotina at the reception went above and beyond for us, she was brilliant and sure made our stay unique. We would visit again.

The bathroom was a bit old and small but overall the room was comfortable , so we didn't mind.

Good location for climbers, and as it's up the hill behind the main street of Masouri it's quieter (and easier to find parking) although you'll hear traffic throughout the night due to the one-way road system. Rooms are cleaned daily and towels and bedding changed every 3 days. The hotel is just by a flight of stairs that lead you into town, so you're no more than 5 min from most of the local amenities as well as the beach. Easy to get to a number of crags like Gerakios, Poets etc without having to drive. The AC worked well, the little fridge was a great size for keeping a few bottles of cold water, fruit and veg chilled, and there is reliable hot water at any time of the day. The room was on the small side but there was plenty of space under the bed for us to stash bags, suitcases etc.

The double room came with a small kitchenette but there isn't much surface space at all, so it's not convenient to prepare a meal and it's easier to make use of the common kitchen (there are only two hobs in the kitchen in the corner by the sink, so be prepared to wait your turn).
