The Calypso hotel is in the best location in Lipsi having a fabulous view overlooking the port. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very modern with an excellent shower.

The kitchenette in our room was very small with a hob and a sink but no work surface and there was no plug socket in that area for the kettle and we had to plug it in on the other side of the room.

Location, location and then the view Just about as good as you could get if you wanted to be in heart of Lipsi. Room is large with v g bathroom and reasonable kitchen area. Property looks to be going through an upgrade which didn’t intrude. Value was great. Good Supermarket next door was very reasonable priced.

The room was basic but had virtually all you needed. The shower room was modern and well equipped. The view of the harbour was lovely. Generally everything was provided that was needed and the location was ideal for the small town and restaurants and shops. Also the town beach is a few minutes walk away

There was just the odd thing like no tea towel and no small table to eat at. I was on my own so not a major problem but might be if 2 staying if you want to cook a little yourself. The balcony in my room was quite small but you could still sit out. The alcove area above the bed would be better painted white as it was a dark blue which felt slightly closed in. Very minor points though and I would stay there again.

Everything was great…..room size, facilities, cleanliness, comfortable beds. Cafe /bar downstairs which was very good in terms of food and prices.

I would have liked a more spacious balcony but I know they are all different sizes at this property and I know to try and request a room with a larger one next time.

The property is right on the harbour edge. We had a twin room with a L shaped balcony. Which got the morning and afternoon sun. Lovely bathroom. Everything one needs for a stay in the fabulous island of Lipsi

Great location with lovely view from the balcony. Very spacious well equipped room ,restaurant, cafe and supermarket attached. Easy few minute walk from ferry. Lipsi itself was everything you read about and more. Plenty of good value restaurants..hard to choose which one to go to!!

Great location right on the port. Easy access to all the bars, shops and restaurants. Very small island with some lovely beaches all within short drive by hire car/moped

Nothing really, could do with a bit of modernisation but it is in keeping with the character of the island

Great location, central to everything. Spacious room which was very well equipped and was airy and cool without needing aircon due to the dual aspect doors and windows. Hot powerful shower and very comfortable beds were a bonus! Good Wi-Fi ( apparently essential these days) Really nice affordable hotel.

Well positioned,by the port. The hotel is a family business.The room was good, comfortable,with TV, good Internet and AC. The view of the harbor was so beautiful,it made me travel in time,to the good old Greece... The Calypso Taverna,also was the best one,compared to all others I' ve been around. I enjoyed my stay very much and intend to return soon!

The cleaning procedures were not satisfactory in the room.The cleaning lady also seemed to be not at all happy with herself..The fridge smelled very bad but in all,it is just a remark.

Room could be exceptional with a bit more attention to detail and cleanliness. Floor needed a good brush. Staff seemed complacent. Had a problem with the fridge which was replaced but it was obvious the staff knew about it before our arrival.
