- Not so great noise reduction. I would give a 10 but my room was overlooking one of the outdoor bars and there was no noise reducing windows, which I strongly recommend they get. The bar says they are open until 1h30am but on several nights the music went on until 2am.

Wonderful building, excellent & helpful staff and a nice quiet & spacious room overlooking the garden. The breakfasts were also very good although some of the waiters struggled with some of our (simple) orders. Took us and our luggage to the ferry terminal after check out in an electric buggy. The (English) Concierge was super helpful in advise te beaches, things to do and eating out.

The room had a few faults in the bathroom which were quickly fixed but the electronic room keys kept failing which after a while became very tedious. The TV had one English Channel (BBC World) and no access to Netflix / streaming services which for a 5 Star hotel is inexcusable these days.

It was a beautiful old hotel with magnificent presence and central location Zoe is amazing - need more of her!

Front of house lack of service and friendliness. Need to smile and accommodate your guests and great them warmly and put out fires when needed or infront of other guests, not give the manager is not here, bland, I don’t care face! We saw it a few times with other complaining guests and it wasn’t good service! Breakfast buffet is average compared to others!

The concierge, Zoë, concierge excellent assistance and advice. She is always on top of the situation and knows perfectly well how to communicate clearly with the guests. Very professional and experienced. She is a 10/10.

The staff at the reception, while friendly and helpful, lacked experience. They need to learn better how to deal with stress and work under pressure. Aside from that, the hotel is perfect, chic, and classy. The breakfast was very good too.

It is a pitty, that Agatha Christie has probably no knowledge of Poseidonion. Otherwise, she would certainly set one of her stories here, as this would be a perfect 1920s-style setting. This is probably the most splendid hotel in Greece, with amazing atmosphere and great service. All the staff does a great job. Many thanks for wonderful days, we had on Spetses.

The building and art were lovely. The concierges were also very helpful and friendly. We had an early ferry and they gave us a breakfast box for our journey at checkout. That was very thoughtful.

While the hotel is literally a 5 minute walk the pebbled street/walkways were challenging with our suitcases and the heat. I would recommend a porter to assist for older guests.

Everything, genuinely. I have often read reviews with people claiming ‘home away from home’. This is the first hotel I’ve ever stayed at where I’ve actually felt that. It is wonderfully relaxing, very classy and the staff are very attentive and kind. The gym was very good by hotel standards. Very good food throughout and it was nice to meet the chef and indeed the owner. My wife also had two fantastic experiences at the spa. We really appreciated the art on display, as well. It had been on our ‘wish list’ for a while and it exceeded my expectations. We are already planning to come back. It is just a thoroughly classy hotel.

As I said, the hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. If I am hyper-critical I would say some of the breakfast and evening staff occasionally forgot to bring small items we had requested, such as water or orange juice.

The hotel has a luxury feel. Very attentive staff, beautiful room with balcony and perfect view. Perfect location. Transportation to ferry port and help with luggage. Exceptional breakfast, eaten on terrace, breakfast staff both waiters and chefs alike were attentive and personable. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful. A very special experience.

The air conditioning wasn't working. It was one of the worse thing that could have happened because it was very hot that night, we were super tired from a long day and we still had to insist with the hotel staff in charge to fix the problem. After three complaint calls and about two hours waiting we were able to get another room. It was already around 2am by the time we got the room.

Beautiful architecture and ambiance in the center of town. Great breakfast and opportunity for late night drink. Staff was so accommodating, even assisting in lugggage to the ferry and any other needs.

Spa could be more premium. Procedure + technicians are wonderful. However, table bed and linens were outdated and worn. Did not align with the ambiance of rest of hotel. I have visited many spas, so speaking from point of experience.
