We've stayed here before so we knew what to expect. The location is excellent, being very peaceful but only a 10 - 15 minute pleasant walk from the beaches and restaurants. Easy parking outside. It's quite a modern property with a total of 10 rooms on 2 floors, all facing the pool and the coast. Very friendly staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a good sized balcony. Cleaning was very efficient. The pool is a good size for swimming and every day it was quiet with no shortage of sunbeds. Will hope to stay here again when we're next in Stoupa!

Just a minor criticism, the shower cubicle is very small, which is surprising considering the rooms are so spacious. Everything else was excellent.

friendly helpful staff. Luggage storage available on last day. Mother of a receptionist runs local taxi service which is handy for visiting neighbouring villages along the coast. Apartment on 1st floor was huge. Living room with TV, sofa, extra bed, dining table and comfy chairs. Bedroom big with comfortable bed. Aircon throughout. Kitchenette adequately equipped . Did not use oven / stove . Large fridge. Balcony overlooking pool and back terrace overlooking pomegranite,lime and grapefruit trees so easy to find sun or shade as needed. The pool was large and very clean. There was a small bar available beside it but that was hardly used as town so close. 10-15 minute walk into the village and beaches. 5 minute walk to supermarket. Loungers and shade available to hire on beaches . Sea utterly clean and clear with brilliant snorkelling and very safe swimming.

All facilities were as described and expected. This is the second time I've stayed at Hotel Aphrodite and the staff were very welcoming once again. This time our stay was during the school holidays and therefore was a little too noisy at times due to 2 families with young children occupying the rooms next to us and also in and around the pool area. However, I will book again in the future but not during school holidays. Otherwise everything was great including all the staff. The pool and snack bar were both very clean and well maintained as was the entire property and also well positioned to walk a short distance to the beach, bars, restaurants and Supermarket.

The shower cubicle could be better screened to prevent water spilling out over the floor.

Easy check-in, super friendly staff, nice pool, which we didn't use in the end. Having been to Stoupa over 15 times since 2000, we know the area well and the distance from most accommodation to the tavernas and beaches. Hotel Aphrodite suited us as we were a party of 8, staying at 4 different locations near to each other. Out of the 4 places our party stayed at, this would rank 3rd out of the 4 of preference.

The bathroom shower tray was too small and meant the shower screen was always uncomfortably positioned. The only option was to move the curtain away from the shower head which then resulted in the floor being flooded all the time. The cleaners mop was used morning and night, and far from ideal. As petty as it sounds, this would be a deal breaker for me. I could list 5 or 6 other places we would stay at when we inevitably come back to Stoupa again next year or the year after, on a ranking order, but whilst this was nice, the bathroom was really, really annoying.

The towels/bins were changed and emptied every day and bed linen changed every 3-4 days which we were really pleased with. The pool is of a good size for swimming and the pool area was spotlessly clean with plenty of sunbeds, as most guests wandered down to one of the two very good local beaches which were within easy walking distance. Highly recommend for a relaxing peaceful stay.

The property was self catering - kitchenette was small but had enough in it to make meals, and there is a good supermarket only 5 minutes walk away. It was in a very peaceful location on a quiet lane, but less than 15 minutes walk to the central area by the beach (which can be noisy when in tourist season). The apartment is really spacious and well designed so that none of the balconies look over those of neighbouring apartments. We were lucky enough to be at the end of the building so had a side view of the mountains as well as front view of pool from our roomy terrace. A real plus point is the family feel of the hotel, with very friendly staff who make guests feel very welcome - many guests return again and again. There is is a pool bar which supplies drinks and snacks - and in the afternoon we were given complimentary slices of cake made by the manager's mother.

It was all fine for us. Perhaps would help to have a double set of plates/mugs/bowls so that we didn't have to wash up so often, and a slightly extended worktop or a flat cover to fit over the hob in order to prepare vegetables - the small area to right of sink houses the draining rack.

The friendliness and efficiency of all the staff. The spaciousness of our apartment. Everything was clean and well organised. We were looked after really well. Being near the supermarket.

In the heat it was quite hard walking to and from Stoupa Beach. We found the pool and beds difficult to use as there was no shade even using an umbrella. We were hoping to meet other people at the bar but we didn’t see it being used at all. Nothing was bad, these were things that affected us. Aphrodite is a great place to stay.

The pool was lovely. Rooms clean and aircon made them very cool! Hosts were nice and brought water and cake to us when we were at the pool. Only a short walk to lovely beaches and the centre of Stoupa.

Didn’t like that you couldn’t have your own food or drinks around the pool they are SC apartments and the options that they had to buy were limited. Also the quiet time from 2:30 - 5:30 wasn’t great for my children. They could still use the pool but had to be silent! Which wasn’t easy so we went elsewhere during this time.

Spacious, clean room with a large balcony - the hotel and grounds are spotless! We were especially impressed by the clean towels every day and sheets every other day !! We didn’t swim in the pool as we enjoyed the beach so much but it looked inviting. There is a small bar which was open to residents in the evening, we could hear people enjoying this but we preferred to sit on our balcony. Kalogria beach is very beautiful- the sea is crystal clear and the tavernas and service excellent. There are lots of sun beds which spoils it a little but you don’t notice after a while.Stoupa beach is also gorgeous but a bit busier all round. All of the tavernas we tried were good, especially those on the beach - the portions are enormous - good value for money. Stoupa is nicely busy in the evening and there is a good choice of bars, tavernas and shops.

The bathroom in our room was very small but once we got used to it that wasn’t a problem. The cooking area is very basic and a bit cluttered but clean and functional.

Nice and friendly welcome at check-in. The room is very spacious. Swimming pool is great. We lives the fact that there is a beach bar where you can get drinks and also Fresh coffee for your breakfast. Location is perfect. At small walking distance to the beach, supermarket and bakery.

The shower area is a bit small within the big bathroom.
