Owner manager on site to help us with our questions. They shared the laundry facilities with us and we hung our laundry on the roof to dry. About 6 blocks walk from the ferry terminal. Hard with heavy bags, but once we unloaded we appreciated being away from the harbor hub bub. And the cafes near Achilleus were wonderful, as were all the cafes we encountered in Hydra area. (3 days). Our room was probably s little bigger than others because ours was intended for up to three.

Liked the location near to everything in town, the small private balcony in our specific room, the room air conditioner , and the value for the price.

Did not like the glass walls for the shower which caused a lot of water to soak the bathroom floor after every shower. Did not like the very bright and intensely blue lighting in the room, lighting would be more pleasant with softer lightbulbs providing a more orange color spectrum.

The owner was really nice, helped us with some essential products from his own home. The room was well maintained - it is an old building, but was renovated keeping the good old atmosphere. It was a short walk from the harbor - 5-6 minutes.

The shower was rather small, but nothing critical... No breakfast option. Prices - in the island are higher in comparison to Athens

We ask for only 3 things when it comes to accommodation - comfortable beds with soft, supportive mattresses; a clean room; and OK wifi - and this place delivers big time. The beds were excellent, giving us two totally restorative nights sleep in a row - unusual on our 4 month journey - and the room spotless. This is more a guest house than a hotel so facilities are basic but literally next door is one of many fabulous, authentic Greek tavernas. The manager is very welcoming and helpful and the waterfront, with cafes and bars that open - and still serve! - until well after midnight, is 5-7 minutes walk away.

That it we didn't have the foresight to book another night!

Location is great. The owner has been very kind and helpful. As I was travelling for a running event I had a particular schedule. The bed was comfy and all room clean. I highly recommend this place. There is also a little beautiful courtyard where it would be nice to relax and spend some time reading a book!

Very welcoming staff, Dimitris and Achilleas. They gave excellent advice on places to eat out. Location is close to ferry, an easy walk with hand luggage, but far enough from the waterfront that we were not disturbed by loud music. Thoroughly recommend a visit. We would go again

Friendly and super helpful staff. The room was clean and beach towels could be picked up freshly washed every day. The room is like pictured - nice size for two people with a fridge and air conditioner.

Pretty much everything was great except the cleanliness

The room wasn't cleaned properly. There was dust and a dead moth on the wardrobe and we found someone's old sock under the bed

There was no breakfast which was no problem. Many tavernas at the port were available for breakfast. The location of the your pension was wonderful. It was just what I wanted which was close to port, family owned and small. The people who owned the pension were lovely.

The overall hotel was lovely and the room was nice. The bathroom has clearly been remodelled.

Everything was room except the quality of the bed. It was very lumpy and should be replaced.
