I recently stayed at this hotel, and I was truly impressed by the overall experience. The dining options were exceptional, with a variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes and preferences. The front desk service was efficient and friendly, ensuring a smooth check-in process. As for the room facilities, everything was top-notch—clean, modern, and well-equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight of my visit was the breathtaking sea view from my room, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort, service, and scenic beauty.

This place is a paradise on earth. Great for relaxation, walks, iceberg and whale watching. There is a superb panoramic terrace, which is accessible 24 hours a day and you can feel the incredible atmosphere of the summer white nights, suitable for eating, drinking drinks or just contemplating the icebergs and the fjord. The breakfast is superb and authentic and includes great offers. The transfers to and from the airport are hassle-free. The restaurant is superb, although with a very limited menu and offers local specialties, which we had not tried anywhere else. The team is uniquely kind and helpful! We are charmed!

There is no fridge in the room, but the opening window does the same job, even in the summer :)

The breakfast was really good. The staff was very professional and more than willing to assist with any requests and queries. The room was modern yet cozy and the hotel in general had fantastic views of the icebergs. The restaurant was excellent (very highly recommended; just make a booking early). The stay includes a transfer to and from the airport/harbour.

Not a big issue, but for the price you would have expected more bathroom/shower soaps etc. There was just one dispenser in the shower and had no idea whether it could be used as shampoo as well. The room was quite small but if you are in Greenland during summer you should only be sleeping in the room - in that case the size doesn't matter too much.

This hotel is located a bit far from the town centre so you may need taxis to get around. However, it is still well located near the beginning of a hiking trail which is stunning. The food is good although we had better (and cheaper) at other hotels in Greenland. The staff are super nice and helpful.

The cleanliness, as it is common (or we just had bad luck) in Greenland. Our bathroom sink was completely and visibly clogged and we had to ask receptionist to get someone to fix it which was unnecessary. The room was cosy but outdated. The floors creak like crazy and the sound insulation is not good. Don't recommend the hot chocolate here.

Room with the Balcony gives amazing view on the bay with moving icebergs directly from the bad. Staff is very friendly and accomodating to all changes caused by the cancel flights. Restaurant offers good breakfast and even better dinner with the view on the bay. One of the walking trails start 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel offers shuttle bus to the airport

Staying here was an amazing experience. Everything, from the iceberg view from the balcony, via the vintage atmosphere, to the food and the dining room/balcony, was awesome. They even have a "harbor" for the boat that goes to the Eqi Glacier. The team was friendly and helpful. If we ever return to Ilulisat, we will stay here again!

Nothing. But it is important to know that the hotel is relatively remote from the city center, and the walk is on the roadside. Taxis are easily available if necessary.

The view was stunning, the staff was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the food in the restaurant was terrific (although the choices were limited--only a choice of 2 entrees.)

The location in winter is a bit far from the town, which makes a difference when it is really cold. However, taxis are plentiful, reasonble, and the hotel will call one for you. Also, one day the hot water didn't work for hours. We understand that this can happen, but guests should be informed. We were not. When we asked the front desk, the clerk knew nothing about it. When we returned a few hours later, the same clerk told us some maintenance work needed to be done but it was finished, and the hot water worked again. It didn't. We didn't have hot water until at least 2 hour later.

It's a beautiful hotel and everything was perfect! Excellent view of the icebergs. The staff was very friendly. The room was very comfy with a clean, modern bathroom. The food at the restaurant was fabulous. And a bonus point - I found a book that has a detailed introduction to Greenland, which I had been looking for but couldn't find anywhere else.

Not about the hotel specifically (and I'm thankful for the hotel for providing free shuttle to the airport). The shuttle bus that goes to the airport is actually run by a different company and stops by multiple hotels. And it left earlier than the scheduled time (~10 mins earlier when we were about to go to the restroom). Thankfully we'd been there waiting much earlier. Otherwise, we'd missed the shuttle bus (or even our flight!). So make sure you wait in the lobby at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time!

Cool, relaxed, hotel - currently the best in Ilulissat, the view of constant humpbacks amidst icebergs from our room balcony must be the best in the world.

Everything but they got us there a day late and because the kept us in the dark I absolutely wasted an entire day in reykjavich anduined my excursions. I bought trip I inurance thro booking and sure the hell hope they pay me back for their mistake.. in order to do what I planned I have to come back again and they should have to pay for it.

My trip was ruined I didn't get to kayak or do any of my excursions
