Beautiful spacious room set in beautiful grounds and hotel. We had some good sleeps here as it is a peaceful place. This hotel is walking distance (approx 10 minutes) to central Antigua and all that has to offer, yet has a pool, lounging area and sizeable grounds. Good breakfasts with freshly cooked eggs.

We arrived early (before check in) and weren't allowed to use the pool area. Again at the end of the stay, the staff made it clear access to the pool area was no longer allowed after morning check out time, despite there being no one else at the pool. So if thinking of lounging by the pool post check out while you wait for a transfer or flight then this is not an option here.

Very well appointed rustic hotel, about a 15 minute walk from the center of the town. The rooms were in front, then there was a nice garden, then there was the section with the restaurant and pool. Hector in the restaurant was awesome and very accommodating. Overall the staff were all very friendly and even though most didn't speak much English and we did not speak much Spanish, we found means of communicating.

In my room was advertised a coffee machine, but there was none.

The garden was beautiful. The pool area was lovely. The rooms were big and comfortable. Everything we need was in walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Beds were comfortable.

The pool was cold. There could be more options for breakfast. Also since the room was had faced the courtyard with only a window, there was a loud conversation that woke us up right outside our window.

The property had a lot of character. It was peaceful and at a reasonable distance from the city center.

Experienced a serious problem with the water flow. On both days I couldn’t get any hot water to get a shower, and on my last day I couldn’t get any so couldn’t flush the toilet. The swimming pool didn’t look very clean, so I didn’t feel brave enough to use it.

Lovely property! The interior courtyard…the gardens & grounds….the pool! About a 15 minute walk to all the restaurants, shops Front desk very nice. Kept our luggage all day after checkout. (We had a late flight).

Breakfast was pretty basic. Coffee, tea, juice, fruit. There were a couple of options plus pancakes. Took awhile to get served one morning but staff was very busy.

Hacienda old world charm. Wonderful staff! Especially Juan Manuel, we had an episode of wardrobe malfunction! He couldn’t be more helpful in trying to solve the problem!

A little far from the maddening crowd, where one can enjoy a bit of peace and quite! Housekeeping was haphazard! Our room was serviced 3 times out of 5 days stay!

Excellent location: safe, quiet, and close to everything. Beautiful relaxing pool and garden, helpful staff, tasty breakfast, the jacuzzi tub in the room was great and they provided bubble bath. The room and grounds are exceptionally clean. I recommend staying here for a trip to Antigua.

The mattress was very firm. WiFi works very well in the restaurant, pool, and garden but can be unreliable in the room. Despite this, it was a lovely hotel.

Vey nice hotel, excellent location, nice pool and atmosphere. The rooms and bathroom were a bit basic compared with other hotels around and the price. Personal was very nice and friendly.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! So beautiful. The pool and grounds are kept exceptionally well. Yummy restaurant and very helpful front desk staff!

Only shortcoming was uneven WiFi reception. Not sure if it’s the provider though.
