The staff (reception, concierge, shuttle bus) were courteous, approachable, and helpful. It was an ideal place for us to stay after a long-haul flight, with smart, peaceful, and scenic surroundings. We were pleased with our room (a sea view suite), which had everything that we needed, was spacious for our family, clean, and comfortable. There are good transportation options to and from the hotel (e.g. we took shuttle service, bus and taxi). Tsuen Wan centre is within easy reach for local food, shopping, and connections to other routes throughout Hong Kong!

Complimentary water and coffee sachets are available, along with replenished shampoo, shower gel, and a fresh set of toothbrushes and toothpaste. Mattresses are changed every three days, which seems sustainable, although my sister mentioned potential bed bugs—an issue I haven't experienced personally as I'm comfortable with my bed. Having stayed in various hotels, I'm confident in recognizing such concerns. The phone in the Family Seaview Room works, though reaching room service or the front desk can be challenging due to the high number of tourists. There's no nearby convenience store, so we made sure to purchase necessities while touring the city for meals, snacks, and breakfast items. Regarding the location, it's distant from the city but close to the airport and HK Disneyland. We opted for the Mickey-themed train from Sunny Bay to the park, but public transportation like buses, with the nearest bus station a short walk away, is also available. We took the 234B bus to Tsuen Wan for a more economical option. 234B - going to and fro Tsuen Wan station and Yau Kom Tau (nearest bus station from the hotel) The room space is enormous, living up to other reviews, and the Family Seaview Room can easily accommodate six people due to its spacious layout. We noticed a few woodworms under the bed closet, so caution is advised when hanging clothes there. They provided an ample number of clothes hangers, which was helpful. The room tends to get quite cold. AC is legit. TV has HBO! So we can still watch Western films (the ones we can understand, sorry!) As you're likely aware, there's no bidet available. However, the shower area is equipped with a reliable heater, providing genuinely hot water. While certain rooms feature bathtubs, the Family room, unfortunately, does not. On a lighter note, the layout allows for two people to use the facilities simultaneously—one showering while the other does number two. Just kidding!

The breakfast buffet offers a limited selection. While some staff members are friendly and approachable, there are others you might prefer to avoid. We observed a few instances of woodworms in our room. The schedule for complimentary shuttle buses is limited, and there are only a few drop-off options available. If you're departing/arriving from HKIA, consider taking the A38 bus, which will conveniently drop you off at Yau Kom Tau. It's advisable to check the bus schedules in advance before heading to the bus stations. Feel free to email the hotel if you require more information.

The location is quiet, which we like, because it is far from the "busy" MTR station and malls.There is transportation available either by shuttle or bus. Our bus to and from airport stops right in front of the hotel. The room is cleaned everyday and staff are very helpful. I dropped my hat somewhere and they were able to give it back to me in a few minutes. Checking in and out of the hotel is very fast and we had no problem whatsoever. They even loaned us an adoptor so we can charge our phones. We wanted a room with 1 bed for me and my husband and a bed for my adult son. The hotel gave us a room with 2 twin beds adjoining a room with queen size bed and a beautiful huge closet. It is like a master bedroom. We love it! The view of the bay from our room window was beautiful. It was time for us to leave when we saw a Belvedere Square or mall which we can reach by walking or jogging from the hotel . My husband loves to jog. Anyway, we hope to do this next time God allows us to come back to Hong Kong. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like a quiet, clean and beautiful place to stay. God bless !

I hope they would have a microwave inside the room. My husband wanted to dip his feet in the water by the beach behind the hotel but the gate was closed and we don't know why. After I have booked the hotel, I have been receiving emails 2x everyday which the hotel said did not come from them. I tried contacting booking.com but they did not reply and the emails just kept coming after I informed them about it. I commend Grand Bay View Hotel for their fast action in clarifying about the malicious email. I hope Booking.com would do the same to protect their clients.

Professional staffs - nice and helpful. Great view of the room. Great room size for family of 4 (1 double and 2 singles).

If the schedule of shuttle bus service could extend and more seats would be perfect.

We didn’t get to use the pool, as it closes at 6 pm. Most of the people is away during the day, at least a two hour swim before you retire would be great, and it’s summer. I think 6 pm is too early to close.

I love that it is in a quiet area… Tsuen Wan by the Bay, and you do not get bothered by the usual car horns in Hongkong. The room is immaculate. White -painted & clean. They just sent one pillow per bed so I asked for one more and they sent it. Vending machines are available. They have self serve laundry too.

They sent toothbrushes everyday . The bar/coffeeshop closes at 10pm . The breakfast buffet was a 4/10. For hkd100/head, they can do better.

Overall, it is nice hotel with excellent staff and the location is very nice. We requested room with sea view and it really nice .

upon check in, we request for iron and iron board but we didnt receive it until we check out. We also find out the bedsheet never replace by the hotel for 5 days since we stay there for 5 days. eventhough it stated in the room that they will replace the bedsheet evert 3 days. the room service just clean the toielts, dustbin. It would be better if the management could monitor the room service provided by the hotel to the customer.

Location of the hotel was very good, got beautiful surrounding atmosphere. Hotel staff were so friendly and helpful all the time, what a great first impression of the hotel. We had dinner at the restaurant. The food was good and great value for money and service was attentive. We were very pleased with our stay and personally willing to visit here again.

For someone who prefers tranquility, away from the busy city life, its location - facing the ocean view and green trees on the other side. Love the fresh air❤️

Maybe the food- bit expensive. The restaurant does not allow room delivery. No pastry served on ala carte during our stay.

The location is some distance from the main travel network of the city and customers rely on hotel's only one shuttle bus to connect with the other part of the city. Customers very often are unable to take the service of shuttle bus as it would be full most of time at busy hours.

If the hotel could provide one additional shuttle bus to serve customers.
