The location is really perfect, you won’t find a better place for this price. Just 5 mins by walk from the harbor. We had a room for two with a double bed and surprisingly the room was quite big (for Hong Kong standards). Totally clean. With a window! Bathroom was also nice and clean. Hot shower. Check in and check out took just a few mins. Stuff was helpful. WiFi is super nice, I watched Netflix every night:) The building itself is really iconic, in a nutshell it was a really nice experience! I was so scared while booking and reading all those bad comments. Seen nothing of those scary things. Highly recommended)

Location, cleanliness, staff service, price. Ate is pinay so we didn’t had a hard time communicating with them and they’re really mabait. You can ask them for hot water every morning. Worth it!

I like the room. It’s cozy and good for solo travellers. What I dont like is the building itself. It’s not clean and the lobby would reek of food. But when you get to 10th floor, you’ll find it newly renovated

The Chungking Mansion is a very special building housing hundreds of small and half shady business, but it is exotic and nice, lots of great and cheap places to eat and many interesting things to see. It is also in the heart of Hong Kong, no real hotel can afford this location.

It is chaotic and a bit hard to find ones way around the many, many hotels and hostels, many being cross referenced in the 14-15 floors of the building. Also in the 1 floor, hundreds of food stalls and small shops, it took a while to find the E block, where the elevators for the hostels are.

The location is very convenient because it is near the shopping district and other attractions like the Avenue of stars clock tower and cultural center. And what I about our place is it’s very secure and our room is clean and the heater is very amazing

The lift is strangely small it can only fit 7 persons and I just don’t like the smell it’s so strong

Staff were super friendly and helpful - we were offered a free upgrade for a family room because we stayed for two weeks :-) And obviously, it's RIGHT on Nathan Road, five minutes' walk from Victoria Harbour. Doesn't get much better than this in terms of location!

Just keep in mind that you'll be in a budget hostel in the middle of Hong Kong, so obviously, the rooms and bathrooms are pretty small. We didn't mind it, but you should be aware of it and know what to expect.

Three person dorm was roomy and had places to store your things. It had a microwave and hot water outside.

The elevator wait was long during busy times. You can take the stairs, or even go to an odd number floor to catch another. Surrounding facilities were dirty, but good food and accessory shopping on first floor.

it’s super clean, everything works, great location. and by that I mean ABSOLUTELY BEST location. Yes, it’s cheap but then, what would you expect from a stay for less than €15 a day? like seriously… great crew too. even if I tried, there was nothing to complain about.

whoever is doing renovations on that floor could start later, but that’s out of the hostel control, so don’t take it against them.

Brilliant location, close to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR and close to the bus stop to get to and from airport (A21 or N21 depending on the time). Staff were friendly and helpful! We had a family room which had 2 decent sized beds in. Wi-Fi worked well. Shower was hot and powerful! :)

Nothing to do with the hotel or staff but the Chungking Mansions are quite grotty as a whole and the lifts take a long time but we just used the stairs so no problem for us.

Nothing The door isn’t soundproofing, but it didn’t matter for me because no one was noisy there at night.

A very nice place. I am very happy to live there.
