The building is a bit tired

Excellent location. Mong Kok, not far from MTR stop and airport bus stops a few metres away along Nathan Road. Being on 24th and 23rd floor means it's also quite quiet, esp. considering how well located it is in the beating heart of Kowloon.

Not much to say - understand it is a Guest House, not a serviced hotel - i.e. rooms for rent. It's downtown Hong Kong, so space is a premium, rooms are small, basically space for the beds, and not much else - but well laid-out & perfectly adequate - incl. toilet/shower & plenty of space to slide bags under the beds.

This guesthouse is located at the heart of Mong Kok which makes it very convenient for us to travel around. As for the overall environment of the room, it is very hygienic and comfortable. Although the room is small, but three of us with our cabin size luggages can still manage. The toilet is very clean, and the water pressure is just nice for you to take a good shower after travelling around for the whole day. In short, my friends and I really enjoyed our stay in this place. This guesthouse is the right choice for travellers travelling on a budget trip, we hope Kowloon Mongkok 1812 Guesthouse will keep up with their awesome services and continue providing a safe, clean and comfort space for travellers from all over the world. p.s. the air-cond works very well too! thank god!

Do expect the basin to be a lot smaller than usually seen.

The most excellent thing about this place is the location, specifically its distance to the train station and the nearby money changer and food shops. The room is a bit small but considering the purpose of this trip. This served its purpose, a place to rest after a tiring day.

The hotel does not have enough signage(in English) to show where it is really located but google maps surely helped. Adding up additional instructions via booking.com or via messages to the account will do.

Mr Yiu is very kind. We tried to call him a number of times for assistance and he always answered and helped us. The location was also great since it is near the bus stops and mtr stations. A lot of stores nearby the guest house as well therefore easy to eat when needed. The rooms were also clean and has the basic necessities needed. There is just a surprise deposit but was returned to us earlier than expected since we needed to check out early in the morning to catch our flight. Owner was flexible to understand it which was great. With the price, I think it is worth it.

Elevator and building was old but much better compared to Chungking.

Room was small but what do I expect in HK? Staff was friendly. Location is very accessible to mtr and bus stops. We did not experience hard time commuting since there is a bus outside that goes to the airport directly. Overall, it was a good experience. Will stay here again when we go back.

The location was excellent! Near to mongkok mtr station just 5mins walk! Near to convenient stores, local food restaurants and souvenirs shops!

The toilet was too small but it's okey. There's no extra table inside the room. They provided new bath towel but some towels have a bit stained.

The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable, the shower worked well and the air-conditioner kept the room cool enough. The staff were always friendly and helpful and checking out was easy.

The building was being renovated, so it was quite noisy and they started early in the morning.

Location: Prime location, easily accessible from anywhere. Room: Spacious and suitable for single travelers. Cleanliness: The facility is well-maintained and clean.

Bed: Personally, I find the bed too firm. Hair Dryer: Unfortunately, it isn't working. TV: I couldn't get it to work, or perhaps I missed something

Staff very helpful, communicative. Great location and good shower pressure and heating/cooling.
