We stayed for 4 nights and overall had a fantastic time. The location was lovely, the atmosphere warm, and we really enjoyed our stay. The pizzas are absolutely amazing and definitely worth trying! The only downside was that the room was not serviced during our entire stay – we had to ask for clean towels ourselves. If daily servicing isn’t provided, it would be helpful if basic cleaning equipment was supplied so that guests can freshen up the bathroom. One other tip for future guests: mosquitos can be a bit of a problem in the area, so it’s best to go prepared with repellent. Apart from that, everything else was excellent, and we would happily recommend this B&B with just these small points for improvement.

Nice property with a good vibe. Well located next to a train station and bike road. Room was well equipped and spacious. Staff were kind.

The jól thing that lets the property down in my opinion is the quality of the food they serve in the restaurant. Our experience was not very good- especially with the bistro food on order. We only ate there once. This is kind of a shame given that they have a nice patio and a big beautiful wood heated pizza oven. But perhaps it’s due to the changing quality of seasonal help! In any case - I would still go back.

The staff was kind. There was a pool with plenty of beds around, the rooms were nice and clean. There was plenty of place to unpack. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of great options. There are a lot of bikes that you can just take when going into the centre with no hassle at all.

The provided bikes were quite badly maintained and not ideal for the uphill ride into the city centre. They didn't tell us how to enter when coming back at night and we had to figure out it was a random door to the kitchen that was left open. There was no shower gel. The room was very close to both the street and the kitchen and a lot of light entered the room early, waking us up. Overall still worth it for the money

Unfortunately our room was in the ground floor. Both room and bathroom windows were facing the terrace with people right in front of them. Extremely noisy in the morning from kitchen and staff. Inconvenient room access directly from the bar/restaurant.

The hotel had a lot of character and atmosphere. It is a small family run hotel and they make you very welcome. The staff are excellent especially Bella and Adam the owner who could not have done more for us. The breakfast is excellent with variety and freshly cooked. The outside restaurant has a great vibe and good quality food at a good price. Good location, short walk to lake and train station and a busier resort about a mile away.

Nice, clean and cozy place. Breakfast was really good and pizza made in Villa Bella the best that we had ever tried. Our dog feels like at home, and he also got some treats. The hosts were very helpful and they gave us a hint of what to visit around. Bikes are free of charge. We highly recommended visiting this place.

Everything was absolutely right. Rooms were huge, clean and good looking. Owner and staff were very polite. Breakfasts were tasty and nutricious, but after few days it was a little bit monotonous, nevertheless we never were hungry. In restaurant is very good italian food. You can eat tasty pastas and pizzas in acceptable prices. Location is ok, 5 minutes on foot to public beach. Swimming pool and place for rest were also ok. Generally we are very happy that we chose that hotel.

Excellent staff, clean and authentic style villa with tall rooms and lots of space, my twin girls, my wife and I absolutely loved the place and told all our friends about it. If you are looking for a nice stay very close to Balaton and close to the beach, you must go to Villa Bella, 100% you won't be disappointed.

There was only one thing that I must comment on: the tiles in the bathroom are quite slippery. I know this is too much to ask, but perhaps some anti-slippery tiles in the bathroom would be a great idea, or even just a sign to make people aware that it's slippery when wet, as we needed 2 days to get used to it. Once you get used to it after a day or two, it's OK.

- To sum it up: I would be happily coming back and recommend to my friends. - The whole building must have been totally refurbished & redecorated recently because it feels like it. It is very nicely done, decorated, all clean & fresh. - Air Conditioning available in the rooms - The restaurant is really nice inside & outside. Breakfast was very tasty. I think with the best croissants I had for very long time. we had very pleasant dinner with friends outside in the evening - the seating was nice, the whole setup was very pleasant with tasty food & wine - The staff is very friendly & nice. - The location is very good. The beach at Balaton is like 5 min walk away and it is pleasant and calm grassy beach with some food venues. And if you don’t mind slightly longer walk then you will easily get to Badacasony centre within 30-35m (+additional time if you walk up the hill to one of the wine producers terrace restaurants) - You may note that Villa Bella is located from newrby the main road along Balaton but actually there was no traffic on the night and if there was any we haven’t really noticed as the new windows suppress well any possible sound from outside…expect good night of sleep on comfortable bad - there is this little pool in the back - not really for swimming (why would you, there is Balaton), but great to cool down after some hike / longer walk during hot summer - And parking is by the building and this is dead end street so perfect parking spot - We saw this couple in the evening sitting with wine on this little balcony they had on 1st floor - Villa Bella I think would be great place also for a romantic getaway, we also saw family with small kid so many people find it nice destination
