very nice idea for the boat house. The placement in the marina is awesome, and there's a nice touch with the jacuzzi in top.

The water temperature in the jacuzzi could have been a little warmer, especially if you plan to use it during the evening when Balaton can get windy and a bit chilly (summer time). Also, considering the prices i think the staff services should be elevated (better communication, more friendly attitude, etc) and at the same time the cleaning could be improved - nothing upsetting, but again, correlated with the prices you would expect (almost) top notch for the small details, like no spider nests, no dust in the corners, etc.

The location is excellent, right on the cycling route, which makes it very convenient for anyone on a bike tour. It is easy to find and perfectly positioned, close to everything you might need. The building looks great from the outside – well maintained and attractive – giving a very good first impression.

The air conditioning is extremely noisy and disturbing during the night, and the oversized pillow made sleeping uncomfortable. The bathroom looks quite outdated, with visible rust, leaving a poor impression. In the morning, only two staff members were handling breakfast for all guests, and they couldn’t keep up, which meant long waiting times. At check-out, there was no one at the reception, making departure rather inconvenient. Improvements are definitely needed to provide a more pleasant stay for this money.

Breakfast was very good. Good choice of items available. Beds were very comfy and the shower was strong . The hotel is very clean and staff carry out routine maintenance on a regular basis. Liked the extra touch of a bottle of wine and water in the room ,very kind.

We found he temperature of the rooms hard to control. The aircon was not responsive and at times quite noisey,not a major problem at this time but would think in the summer it could be. Had hoped that the restaurant would be open later in the evening,it closed at 9pm . We did eat at the hotel and it was very good.

Loved the location of the hotel, near the port and the lake beach, close to super market and decent restaurants. The have a really nice outdoor terrace that opens to the park of the yachting club. Pretty quit location, it is near the train rails but I don’t remember hearing and trains, so all good. Breakfast is just ok, not much variety, but for just one night is good enough.

There was a smell in the room that would hit you when you entered the first time. Could pay more attention to dusting. Maybe some tv channels in English? Hand soup is just some foam, should be actual soap.

Big room, nice location, pretty quiet despite being close to the train tracks. Restaurant very good, not much choice but everything we tried was great and better than what we had in the city. Bar available with everything you need, prices are also decent.

Door was not closing properly.

We stayed on a house boat. The facilities were very good and well maintained and equipped. Breakfast in the hotel was also good.

The area at the time we went had a lot of bugs (you are on a lake so it is to be expected) which the property can’t do anything about. But be mindful of the season because it was like a plague once the sun went down. Not all the staff could speak English or German, only Hungarian which at times made it difficult to communicate. .

Super location, modern hotel 'lake side' near the marina. Like an evening or early morning walk along the lakeside... this is ideal. Good parking and pleasant out door dinning area.

Had an evening meal in the restaurant and the waitress presented a 'broken' visa card reader and said could we pay cash. We said, no.. ( payment for the room was secured against a credit card & we were travelling through 4 non euro countries and only had small amount of Hungarian currency ) . That didnt end the evening well :). Balance was paid at the main reception in the morning.

Absolutely amazing concept, and the facilities are great. It’s great to be able to spend a few nights on the water, being much closer to nature. The jacuzzi is the cherry on top.

Coming in and out of the dock is a bit tricky because you need a key card and you are given only one.

The personnel was not really friendly The cleaning lady did not made the bed (barely cleaned the bathroom) The room was a bit damp and did not really dry when we were staying there.

Perfect position, a real treat with the jacuzzi on cold days when one cannot swim in Balaton
