Staff was excellent. We were able to park in a covered courtyard only 40 m from the front door to the hotel. The back garden off of my room was very nice, and could be viewed from the breakfast room too. The room was a bit small, but the aircon functioned very well, important in 34 C heat! Bathroom was also very nice, small but convenient. Great shower cabin that kept the water in the shower. WiFi was excellent, and I stream a lot. Overall, I give this hotel very high marks.

The only disadvantage was a very long stairway, as there is no lift. But my friends had a room on the ground floor, so they didn't have to lug their bags. My bags were lugged for me by my friends after I hurt my knee on a previous stop. The front desk guy this morning helped bring my bags down. Staff was excellent--very helpful.

We'd upgraded to a room with air conditioning and this meant we had a nice large, well equipped room. Breakfast options are typically Hungarian and a good start to the day. Location is great, quiet yet just a short 5 minute walk from the pedestrianised centre of Eger where there are numerous bars, restaurants and shops. Staff really helpful, particularly for booking taxis. Special mention for Szolt who greeted us and was present on weekdays. He was always attentive, smartly dressed and helpful.

Absolutely Fabulous! I was delighted by the welcome and other Reception staff. i had asked for a quiet room and was to my delight given one at the rear with a small balcony overlooking their genuine garden and seats. ( not just a seat & a plant!) The weather was hot so it was refreshingly cool sitting with the balcony door open or in the garden. Aircon was excellent as was their standard of cleaning I could not have wished for a better location Just a few steps from the centre. 6-7 to the railway and slightly longer to the castle/citadel which, trust me is excellent and you need a few hours. The room as was the whole hotel well designed with best quality materials and finish. The breakfast room overlooking the tree canopy was lovely with an excellent choice for breakfast. Thank you! My booking was a last minute one as the previous accommodation had let me down, but I was so pleased she did! thanks

The owner and hotel managers were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was very cute; the room was lovely and roomy; and the breakfast area was beautiful. Finally, the best thing about the hotel was the price. It was very inexpensive and included breakfast!

The bathroom connected to the room was up 3 steep stairs. I was worried about going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. None of us fell, but it was a bit worrisome for people over 60.

Great central location. Easy walk to the thermal spas & pools, old townsquare & good restaurants. Good parking. The hotel is very lovely & charming looking with a romantic courtyard. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The staffs are so nice & speak good English. I highly recommend 👌

Everything is perfect.

Helpful staff. Enough breakfast for the morning. Very clean room with comfortable beds. Big bath with a good shower. Quite noiseless neighbourhood. The private peaceful courtyard inside the building was worth to experience.

Drinking water, which many hotels offer as a courtesy today, was given to us for a particular fee. Although wi-fi was functioning perfectly within the builfing, it didn't work properly in our room.

The hotel looks beautiful from the outside and also has a charming inner courtyard available to guests (bit it was too cold and rainy for that during my visit). There are lots of flowers and green plants. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast is great, with lots of choice and quality foods. The location is also great: a few minutes by foot to the historical center and with Gal Tibor Winery next door (!). There is a bakery that opens at 5 a.m. around the corner and the Beatles Museum also next door). My standard room was quite spacious.

Inside, the hotel and the room both look standard-issue and smell kind of old and stuffy. Nothing to strike your aesthetic imagination) There is plenty of storage space, including a cabinet and many sets of drawers, but some drawers were dirty inside (and the bathroom drawers were moldy, although noone probably uses them anyway). The bed was ok but somewhat too soft for me. The wi-fi signal was rather poor and kept disconnecting every once in a while.

The Hotel is situated near old center and all attractions. My room was clean and comfortable, a breakfast was fantastic. The staff was very helpfull anf polite.

Unfortunately I paid for room twice - in hotel and by booking.com. Of course it was a hotel mistake, but I later the hotel resolve this problem in excellent way.

Position to town centre was perfect. Entrance was welcoming. Stunning garden area off breakfast room, along with the breakie spread. Beautifully displayed Room most comfortable. Loved this little hotel.

Leaving

Extremely friendly host. Who made us feel at home from the very beginning. We booked late and arrived early and could even choose the room. The host prepared personally breakfast for us since other locations had already closed. Breakfast and the very laid back garden was amazing. We would definitely come back next time.
