Fantastic food! We stayed half board. Great buffet breakfast with lots of choices - really good. The evening meal was fantastic. Again great selection, 2 soups, 4 main meals, salad, sweets, and a pancake machine our youngest loved, both in the morning and evening. The apartment was good, clean and well equipped. There was a sauna, gym and relax area.

Having to choose meal slots which you had to keep to for whole stay, but in the end no real problem. Just a small niggle...

This is a very nice hotel, and my rating could easily be 9 or even 10 if it wasn't for few annoying issues. What I liked about the place is that it's basically new, everything is modern, clean and working. Location is very convenient, within 5 minute walk to the main Sarvar spa. The room we had (family room with hot tub) was very well equipped, I would say above standard. I loved the hotel-grade water pressure in the shower, this was great! The room had its own outside hot tub (3-person), which is definitely above standard room equipment and we enjoyed it very much. The hotel staff, be it the reception or the cleaning ladies were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant is very nice and the breakfast was great, large selection of tasty food. I am overall very happy with the stay and will consider coming back here next time we go to Sarvar.

The hot tub is a a bit noisy There is limited privacy on the ground floor terrace The reception and the hotel restaurant are in a different building from the accommodation and you have to cross a busy road that has no pedestrian crossing. I urge the hotel management to talk to the town to get one put in place.

We liked that the accommodation is very close to the Spa resort.

1) We had a street view room and it was a little bit noisy due to cars on the street in the evening and early in the morning. 2) During breakfast time, we had to wait until some tables were free. Low capacity for breakfast. 3) Our room was in the building across the street and we needed to cross the street for breakfast. It was not mentioned in the accommodation description.

The hotel is nice, new and clean, the breakfast was good, the WiFi was working without any problems. There was free parking in the yard. And the aqua centre is very close to the hotel.

Our room was in the ground floor with balcony to the street, so it was possible to hear the noise from the outside and it wasn't very private in there. Also, it was nice that there was a kettle to prepare some tea, but there was no proper table where we could put our mugs.

I have given 10 points and the best rating at Booking.com only once so far. I have to say I was fully satisfied at Onyx Luxury with everything - accomodation, half board, location, services etc. They could offer gluten free in good quality. It is one of the best accomodation I have ever had.

I didn’t find anything wrong.

Stylish and modern apartment with cooking possibilities. Very comfortable beds, two TVs. Own parking. Reception very professional. Walking distance to city center and to spa. If available, I will stay here again.

No soap at the wash basin, only in shower, but body milk was available. So I guess, the soap was just forgotten. At the floor, we found chocolate from previous guest. Such details should not happen in a 4 star apart hotel. Cooking plate was extremely slow, it took 30 minutes to boil water. Kitchen is equipped only with very basic items. We did not try breakfast because price is relatively high for Hungary.

Beautiful area, great swimming pools in Sarvar furdo. Amazing park and castle in city center. Hotel staff was superb. We have tried several restaurants in the city, all amazing. We did not need cash at all, everything can be paid by card.

Coffee in hotel was not so good

Very nice modern accommodation. Exceptional breakfast with extensive selection (pancakes, müsli, a selection of cheeses, salami, tasty coffee etc.). Pleasant receptionists, they waited for us for late check-in.

AC in every room will be more comfortable.

We stayed only for one night, but we had a very pleasant stay. Staff was very polite. Room was peaceful and it is exactly as described, it had balcony too! Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Would definitely visit again!

For our short stay, no complaints

The apartment complex was easy to find; it's located pretty close to the SPA as well. Since we arrived to Sárvár by train, we decided to walk from the station; it took us about 15-20 minutes to get to Onyx. The reception desk and the restaurant is located on the opposite side of the road. Our apartment was very nicely furnished, it looked brand new. Even though we stayed on the ground floor and our windows were facing the road, we didn't hear anything. Their apartments are soundproof. The apartment was well equipped; we received plenty of towels, shower gel and soap, toilet paper, cups, etc. I really like how they put their logo on everything; it does make you feel special. The restaurant is really nice and modern looking. Staff was VERY kind. Food was tasty, and there was a wide variety of options. Everything was fresh and really nicely presented. After I got home I realised I left my favourite towel in the apartment. I e-mailed them and they were super nice about it!!! They put it away for me and then they handed it over to GLS. I received it yesterday! I am so grateful!

The fridge was very loud, which wouldn't have been a problem if it wasn't placed by the bed. Our room was maybe a little bit too dark, but it didn't cause any trouble, so that's fine. There were coffee cups and spoons in the wardrobe - but no coffee or kettle. But this is just nitpicking, overall I was very happy with everything.
